I'm sure the guys will bash me.

There seems to a growing trend.... Guys saying their women are to pregnant before proposal or any marriage rite. I condemned a guy's stance on this and thought I'd be supported. But I was surprised. Even women took sides with the guy! It was shocking!

And guys, what's the reason behind this assertion??

So what do you think??
Should a lady get pregnant before she gets proposed to or should she walk out of the relationship??

it depends.if it is clear the primary reason for the marriage is to have children.kike when the man or woman has issues or great concern about having kids.it should be mutual.with the way things are ,with sexual freedom so rife with the attendant abortions,i really in my little own opinion think the girl should first give birth before the wedding.on the 5th month bride price should be paid to asuage the woman and her parents fears of being abandoned.strictly speaking though a christain marriage assumes both of them are virgins which is rare theses days.if you are not a virgin ,you dont have any right to a christian marriagee no matter what your pastor tells u.if the foundation is already destroyed,there is nothing the righteous or the pastor can do.if penis don enter before ,you might as well let it enter it again and get pregnant.no big deal.

so you know the country is at war and yet commits all these blunders that get more and more citizens killed.i have said it before this is the leader that will not go unpunished for allowing so much bloodshed.

if u decide you are a christain and wants a christain marriage,then submitting your salary should not be a big deal where you whole being itself is already submitted to the husband as christ enjoins all women who will have a xtain marriage to do.

if however you elect a society marriage with trends dictated by the society or a civilised marraige with trends disctated by civilisation then submitting yourself and your money is wrong and no husband should ask any wife to do that in that context.

so the first question is what type of marriage are they into.

This is too simplistic.face the reality.this particular marriage is dead for now.best thing is for them to seperate for now and come back later if possible.one of them may commit murder soon.

If my woman cheated I'd rather die a honorable death than take her back. One of my friend his now wife cheated on him. She kissed another man. He took her back and eventually married her. Nobody respects him in our group of friends anymore. I just couldn't.

As for the double standard. This is a result of supply and demand. A good amount of nigerian woman wouldn't leave a relationship where her partner is cheated or has cheated. She fears being looked down in society for be a single mother (if they had kids), afraid she may never find another partner and age being lonely, biological clock may be thicking so she'll accept it just to have children before her eggs rot, etc. Nothing more useless than a unmarried and childless women. Either way naija women who put up with a cheating partner is solely due to her selfish reasons. She's not holy pass her cheating husband.

i am a lawyer and im not doing any court wedding with any woman.only traditional marriage so i dont run into trouble when i need extra wives which is most likely in my own case.
