If he had fought would he have been that relaxed when Chidi Lloyd came in and carried the mace?

If he did would he be asking why the governor come to the assembly and supervise the beating of his colleagues?

Since i saw Ameachi's policemen beating up that man in the assembly i do not believe his stories anymore.

When Hon. Bipi asked that Amaechi be shot, that Hon. Gentleman in suit went and slapped Amaechi. This led to the beating he received from Amaechi's ADC.

We are not talking because Hon.Chinda told us, we are talking based on what we saw.

From the video, the man that was attacked did not look like someone that had harmed or intended to harm anyone.
There is no way he would have been that relaxed before he was attacked if he was part of any fracas.
Based on what i saw the police and SSS doing for the gov I am forced to believe that Ameachis problem with the CP is that he has refused to do his bidding.
Would Hon. Bipi have gone back to the chambers if he had asked for Ameachi to be shot?
Are those boys we saw the thugs that he wanted to use to kill the Governor ?

The police and SSS would have to be changed for their involvement and he knows it.

With the actions that occurred, under normal circumstances all security personnel of the government house would be changed.
Almost certainly the police would be changed and those directly involved would be tried, same with the SSS.
Security personnel are normally rotated to avoid their being personally involved in a place.

Ameachis fight is about the way and manner he choose to go about his aspiration.
For example he tried to clip the wings of the president over the SOE issue.
If he didnt try to be gov and president at the same time it would hv been better.

seunfly: I want APC, not because i hate Jonathan but because we need another strong opposition party that will stand toe to toe with Pdp and force which ever party in power to perform better. We all know pdp has performed badlly from Obj to yaradua to Jonathan because they don't have any reason to perform well since they will win election anyway due to lack of competition.

We are being grossly misinformed, that beating scene was Hon Chidi Llyod with the police and SSS beating up Hon Micheal Chinda.
Chidi llyod is pro Ameachi while Micheal is anti Ameachi.

The Rivers State House of Assembly complex today broke into chaos and staff fled as members fought and exchanged blows as a group of law makers impeached the speaker Rt.Hon. Otelemaba Dan Amachree and installed Hon. Evans Bipi representing Ogu/Bolo constituency as speaker. A group is also thought to have attempted to collect the mace of the assembly while some staff who fled told reporters that Governor Ameachi himself stormed the chambers and took away the mace. Some of the Governor’s cars were destroyed and there were injuries .
However,in an attempt to put a lid on the situation, Leader of the house, chidi Lloyd called reporters to say that their was no impeachment but could not explain the heavy security and the broken stones and bottles littering the complex.
An eye witness who called reporters365.com had this to say:
“It was a free-for-all fight at the assembly today
Members started walking in to the chambers at 9 am this morning with the
Speaker walking in at about 9:50am to commence sitting
“WEY VOKOR”! were the speaker’s first words calling Hon Victor Ihunwo by his alais.
“Oga leave me abeg” Hon Victor replied”
“So Vokor even you!” the Speaker asked Hon. Victor.
At that point Hon.M.O Chinda walked in..
“THE CHF JUDGE” House majority leader hailed him.
I will not give or take any hand shake” M.O Chinda responded.
The speaker teased him and said ” are we not brothers again?

Hon Chidi repeated the same vulgar statement moving menacingly towards Hon. Evans at which point Hon. Evans took the camera tripod on the floor of the house and flogged the hell out of Hon. Chidi
Hon. Azubike left his seat and grabbed Hon. Evans .Both started fighting
When Hon. Evans over powered both men, the house leader picked the mace and broke Hon. Chinda’s head with it.Hon. Chinda is a supporter of Hon. Evans.
A call was put through to the Governor by one of the pro-Amaechi Governors to the effect that the war was being lost to Evans and his group.He arrived shortly.The Governor met a free -for- all fight in which his followers were badly bruised and he
took the Speaker, Azubike, Leader and the Clerk of the house away
20 mins later Hon Evans and some members of the House appointed Hon. Victor Ihunwo as speaker pro tempore and impeached the speaker and left.
An hour later the Deputy Governor of the state Tele Ikuru led the speaker and 10 members into the chambers from Government house . They sat and quickly adjourned.”

“The budget that has been passed, my own share which is meant for me to address the challenges facing the people of Edo State, part of the money has been withheld. The ministry of finance is not releasing my money in full. And I want to place on a notice that between February till now more than N1.8billion for a small state like Edo is being delayed by Abuja. I have to perfect my own credibility as a governor to deliver my responsibility to contractors, workers and everyone that needs government attention.
