The context was they were in a deep sleep., the exact same thing Paul was saying some who will go to heaven and reign with Christ won't do due to their instant resurrection.

Let me ask you, is Resurrection the same as to be transformed?

First Resurrection is the medium through which they are transformed to rule with Christ . ( Revelation 20:6)
