Before you think of removing subsidy, power sector has to be fixed that will drastically ease pressure from pet. products. When you remove subsidy, NNPC alone will have to be importing products, every major marketer should purchase from NNPC, does NNPC have the capacity to satisfy daily consumption is the million dollar question. ? |

The Syrian Rebels are a notch below ISIS but that doesn't make them non-radical extremist.
But we know this move is just another lame excuse to further equip ISIS who are in Yemen and Lebanon to fight Shiite rebels and Hezbolah.

GenBuhari: Ever wondered why this "war " is shrouded i secrecy? Rarely see video footage from frontlines or war correspondents covering it for the international media?.
Wondered why victims or displaced Nigerians not being interviewed?
Answer: Grand deception to cover up America sponsored genocide and mass murder of up to millions of Nigerians.
Imagine that this rag tab bunch of militants with only small arms, is not only holding its own against a multinational force made up of Niger, Cameroon, Chad and the great Nigerian military ( that single handedly intervened and won wars in Liberia and Sierra Leone under Abacha) and with the multinational forces recieving technical and Arial support from NATO; This rag tag group is apparently so powerful and superior to the the multinational forces that it has time to be opening up new fronts and clearing towns of civilians.
Why does it seem I am the only one in the country that is saying that what we are being told cannot possibly be true.
If as seems very probable that the multinational forces with Nigeria are only pretending to fight Boko Haram, perhaps our next question should be : Are the multinational forces (including Nigerian military) covertly supporting the terrorists that are massacring Nigerians and clearing Nigerian towns of all its inhabitants?
Are the multinational forces (including Nigerian military) really the terrorists that are massacring Nigerians and clearing Nigerian towns of all its inhabitants?
Some questions to ask about Boko Haram:
1. How is a rag tag bunch of militants capable of capturing an entire town from a powerful nation with a strong military with a standing army of 300,000 men?
2. How did a rag tag bunch of militants acquire the type of fire power to clear a whole town or did they accomplish this using merely the small arms we see them carrying in rare videos they release?
3. Why would Boko Haram want to clear a Nigerian town? Is it possible to form an Islamic state in a ghost town?
4. What is the military advantage in guerrilla warfare of the guerrillas clearing towns they captured of its entire population?
5. Is it not an important part of guerrilla warfare, for the guerrillas to hide within the general local population?
6.How can Boko haram hide in a ghost town
7. Why would Boko haram advertise its location by painting its logo on flags, buildings and vehicles is this a good strategy to conceal itself in a guerrilla war?
8. Why are the multinational force that is using lethal force in conducting a war in our territory, not under the command and control of our military.
9. Is there any Nigerian with Chadian army to monitor their activities in Nigeria
10. Since all these towns have been captured by Chadian troops, why has the towns not been handed back to Nigeria?
11. Why has Chadian troops not allowed internally displaced Nigerians return home?
12. Are Chadian troops really Boko Haram?
13. How could Boko Haram be so powerful that it not only start defeating the powerful Nigerian military after a 6 years war, but it even after several months of war, a multinational force that is getting assistance from America and France has been unable to defeat it.
14. Is it possible for Nigerian towns to be in the hands of Chad without the collusion of Nigeria
15. Why is the so called war against Boko Haram shrouded in secrecy?
16. Why are there is no geniune independent video footage of the so called war against Boko Haram?
17. Where are the war front reports from international war correspondents? Why are we just getting unverified photos released by the Chadian army and whatever unverifiable story they wish to accompany the photos.
Is any of this making sense?
If something doesn't make sense it usually means that a lie is being told.
Read my signature below for an insight into what is really going on.
Our govt are colluding with the multinational course that was put together by France (not us oo!) to allow them to break up Nigeria whilst keeping Nigerian populace in the dark.
Chad and others controlling our territory would be allowed to simply annex those territories, this may explain why the towns are cleared and the Nigerian IDPs are not being allowed back to "re-captured" towns. Between you and Musiwa, who infected each other?

Politics › Re: Fuel Scarcity: FG Pays N156bn Fuel Subsidy Claims To Marketers by jpphilips(m): 2:17pm On May 07, 2015 |
kaboninc: I see you as one who's well versed on issues relating to the Petroleum Industry.
However, I think there are issues we must have to consider especially with operations of these 'marginal' companies unless you have another idea:
1. Refined crude (PMS) from private refineries would (or may) be sold to NNPC who would be in the best position to pay at prices above or within the international price. NNPC will also claim subsidy payment because they would not be able to sell at pump stations at the price they were bought not to talk of adjusting for other associated cost and profit.
2. If NNPC agrees to buy PMS, there would be problem associated with payment as even NNPC cannot meet most of its JV calls and other obligations and then again there is this ambiguity on NNPC spending money without approval. There is also the high probability of FRAUD! Subsidy scam should come to our mind here.
3. Should NNPC not buy the PMS, these private refineries would not be able to sell locally as the price of commodity itself is REGULATED by the government. Hence they may consider markets off Nigeria and that my friend is not good.
These are the major issues I feel for which there is an urgent need for government to completely hands off PRICE FIXING of PMS. Are you suggesting to the refinery owners how to do their buisness? We as the electorate should learn to define our interest, what should bother you is whether their model is in your interest, Who they are selling to and how they get paid is basically of no concern to us except you are a stakeholder. Further more, Dangote and Orient are running the same buisness model whether deregulated or regulated, the profit margin is reasonable. with the current crude oil price, it is all smiles for all. Until Nigerians extricate themselves from Jonathan's 2012 lies, nothing in the oil industry will add up. |

You can actually negotiate with women in so many ways because anger from both ends will only caused more problems, you are too domineering and quick temper! You can't deny that and she knows, that alone can fuel anger,so I will advise you to change tactics, remember you used to pet her before now, you need to love your wife more, get her gift, dance for her, make sure you do everything to make her laugh, do it today, do it tomorrow and next tomorrow, appease her, infact, sent her a text msg right now telling her how much you love her, I bet you will see her happy and smiling. Look, submissive women are more delicate than wild ones, any woman who can control and manage her emotion is strong inside and very intelligent like a cat, especially with google as her special adviser. don't think she can be pushed around , its not easy to pack poopoo, do all stuffs and cook for you without being appreciated and still be happy.
You have probably diverted your love for her to your son , we men need to learn how to be supportive, Thanks.
Note : she probably understand the baby more than you, and its better for you to seek advise from elderly women who are more experience about babies and their food selection rather than flinging the stuff she bought away! Try the above method and you will see her opening up on whatever is bothering her. Get a gift for being stubborn!! iti

Then at about 10 months old, the baby would accept amala, and indomie on his own without been forced...then she brought in golden morn which the baby spits out the moment it touches his mouth...despite this, she started forcing him again...so the husband said don't give it to him any more...give what he is okay with. Rather than explain why she want to continue forcing him, she went and bought a bigger bag of the golden morn...then the husband threw it away...this happenned last Thursday and since then she has stopped greeting her husband and even prepare food when she like since then. Is that really an area where a husband should interfere? You are the head of the home but by default, training or experience there are areas where the women know best you just have to leave it for them. Surprised you know the name of whatever the baby is taking, you must really be less busy, no offence!!, sorry nothing to advise in this example because i don't interfere in this area, I may ask her to look for an alternative if I feel whatever she is giving is expensive or difficult to source. He told him to check again in his presence only to discover that the guy in question did not place his thumb at the base of the tester to complete the circuit. bushdoc9919: As usual...I see many Nigerians thinking that a businessman or businesswoman's job is to run charity.
Look...a marketer brings in fuel at N114 per liter...and sells it at the subsidized price of N87 per liter.
Them gofment pay the chaps the balance....leaving them with little profit...or in some instances...zero profit.
No wonder...some of them bill govt for fuel NOT imported...and run off with the money (It is more profitable that way.... . But still very very wrong).
The simple fact is that fuel is expensive BECAUSE we are importing the stuff. Back when I was a kid....fuel cost 75kobo per liter. Back then....all our refineries were working...and no Nigerian in his wildest dreams ever thought we would import even 0.0000000001 Liter of fuel.
But now....we are importing fuel....MOST of the fuel we use in this country....and our refineries are not operating at full capacity.Meanwhile...our revenues from oil are FALLING....thanks to the low oil price....and we still have to pay subsidies for education, fertilizer, etc.
In other words....we are just shoveling millions of dollars into an incinerator. Remind me who thought it was a good idea.
At the end of the day subsidy has to go. If we keep on subsidizing fuel....many marketers are going to go broke. And that means...JOB losses. And we won't have enough money for everything. Pretty soon....prices will go up elsewhere....eg school fees, hospital fees, etc...because we no longer have the kudi to subsidize everything else and fuel.
Yes, prices of fuel will go up. But we just might have more money to do things...like repair our refineries, build more of them...and fund things like mass public transport. Which is a cheaper alternative to cars and cars.
I don't say this with joy. I wish with all my heart there was an alternative. But we have no choice. Either build 4 more refineries+renovate existing ones......or the subsidy goes.Awoof government is not sustainable government (unless you have a hefty GDP....which can only be achieved by getting industrial....instead of this resource dependent economy we have.). Do you sincerely believe that Subsidy removal will benefit the Nigerian people in the long run, if YES!!, Diesel has been deregulated for over 3yrs, why is diesel not selling like Indomie??
Do you sincerely think that building a refinery will solve this crisis, if so Y?

handsometokunbo: I respect this thread with profound respect but I hate to see lies being rubbed on my face and shunned out to people as truth. I have chosen to counter this false story being shunned out with true version of the story.
Books have been written by foreign Journalists who witnessed Nigeria Civil War and I ll humbly ask you to pick these books to read instead of reading the ones written by the likes of Chinua Achebe and Other Igbo writters; all written out of emotion and tribal sentiment.
The man who facilitated the involvement of France and Portugal at the side of Biafra Nation against Nigeria state wrote a book in which Ojukwu was held responsible for 80% of those heart-trending pictures of Igbos.
Ojukwu, in his bid to garner world sympathy towards Biafra struggle decided to use the death of his people as a war propaganda of which the world powers were able to see through.
The obvious questions you and your likes chose to ignore are:
1). How come Ojukwu and his soldiers looked well fed at the time of these Kwashokor pictures being taken?
2). How come Igbo elites both political and military with their families were well fed in the midst of all this?
3). How come Biafra soldiers choose not to kill Nigerians in a war that lasted for 3 years with white South African pilots mercenaries bombarding Nigerians from the air?
4). How come Biafra were so keen in taking pictures(if not for propaganda) than fighting their enemies?
5). How come we never see the pictures of Nigerians who were mercilessly killed by Biafra soldiers? Nigeria Govt has no intention of using it as propaganda.
6). How come Biafra soldiers chose not to commit genocide against Nigerians in the midst of all the genocide against their people? I presumed cos they were too nice........
Finally, the world chose to ignore this genocide rhetoric coming from the Igbos cos they witnessed it all. Biafra committed as much crime as their Nigerian counterparts and that was/is why that has never been any criminal case against those who were involved in Nigeria Civil War.
Regardless of how much anyone tried to rewrite the true event of what happened, the truth ll always prevail.
Thank you. After my reply to you a few Hrs ago, I read the rest of your posts on this thread, I had to remove my response because you are not worth the knowledge you seek, I rather you remain ignorant and perish with it, that is what you fvcking deserve.
