Nobleval: Ojukwu was a f**l. How could he give almost everything he had to his wife?... He is a disappointment to his children. These facts are emperical Emeka Ojukwu has no pin of his own. OTL under dispute was owned by Louis his father not Emeka. Louis was not in good terms with Emeka at time of death, It is very unlikely that Louis will bequeath all his wealth to his prodigal second Son when Joe ojukwu the first son was Louis' s favourite. Ojukwu used his military might as governor to suppress dissident voice, Bianca is just a gold digger who picked a wrong target. Where are the sons of Joe ojukwu? ?? |

Which location did you visit and saw a vandalised gas pipeline? What is the name of the pipeline? What year was the vandalism? zendy: I kind of pity people like you who just peddle lies without doing a little bit of research. Talking without knowing what you are talking about. Go and read General Effiongs "Nigeria and Biafra: My story" or You can read Ben Odogwus "Nowhere to hide:Conflicts inside Biafra". There are many books to tell you that the eastern Nigeria consultative assembly had at least 2 representatives from all the districts in eastern Nigeria and at least one of those representatives had to be a traditional ruler. This assembly went to all noooks and cranny of eastern Nigeria and asked the people if they wanted to remain in Nigeria or secede. The assembly came back and gave Ojukwu the overwhelming mandate to pull out of Nigeria. Infact,in Effiongs book,he said that on the day that Biafra was declared, the people of the south-south had the largest contigent of people who came to Enugu to celebrate. You talked about Adaka Boro and he's capturing of some places in the south-south. Again you show your ignorance. Adaka Boro was doing this in 1966,long before the consultative assembly gave Ojukwu the mandate in 1967. Adaka Boro was even in jail by then so I don't know how the two events even relate. You said that Ogundipe renounced his position as head of state,Ogundipe was never head of state but was the rightful person who should have been. He was forced out by Gowon and the northerners. You should realise that after Ironsi died, there were at least 10 (Effiong,Adebayor,Njoku,Bassey,Imo,Nwawo, and others were all senior to Gowon) officers who were senior to Gowon including Ojukwu. Any of these senior officers should have become head of state not a junior like Gowon. Ojukwus quarrel with Gowon was that Gowon should not jump over his seniors to become head of state and he was right about this. You said that Ojukwu never earned a kobo in his life? Do you know that Ojukwu was a district officer for a long in Udi in present day Enugu state? Do you know that Ojukwus father did not talk to him (Ojukwu) for a many years because of Ojukwus decision to enter the army? Go and read award winning Author Frederick Forsyth's book called "Emeka" for the story of how Ojukwu started transport business while in exile with a loan he raised. Ojukwu was already a successful international business man by the time he returned from exile. Saying Ojukwu never earned a penny in his life is the height of silliness. Im not actually writing all of this for your benefit, Im writing this for those who may have read your silly posts and think this is true. Mr m0r0n, in case you forgot, Odogwu is not a credible source for Niger delta involvement in the Biafra war, how about reading the "sunset in Biafra" by Elechi Amadi a true Niger delta son? you continue lying about this eastern consultative assembly who approved Ojukwu's declaration of Biafra, how the Niger deltans were represented by two individuals, please what are their names? abi they are ghosts? According to Elechi Amadi he emphatically used the sentence "occupation of Niger delta by Biafran forces" It is on history that it was still a Niger deltan who reclaimed portharcourt and some other areas for Nigeria. You claimed Emeka Ojukwu took loan from the Ivorians to start a transport company please tell us the name?? because as far back as the 50's Loius Ojukwu has founded OTL, Ojukwu transport limited so which one was Emeka managing in exile? To believe that a political fugitive will benefit from a state loan in a foreign country is the height of your buffoonery and epitomised imbecility. Louis not talking to Ojukwu did not stop Emeka from enjoying his wealth in death, are you aware that Emeka has an older brother who is a doctor? Bianca ensured he was relegated to oblivion for the spoils to continue. Gen Ogundipe renounced his position as head of state, Why was ojukwu insisting he must come and claim it when it was clear the man wanted peace? was Ojukwu not crying more than the bereaved? Dont quote my post again if you cannot provide proof of your lies. I take not kindly when crickets like you mutilate my posts. |

Kimmo: *sigh* Look, men and women have certain standards. The kind of man who would willingly choose a cleaner, thinks of himself as being happy with her choice of work/person. There are certain jobs people choose because of a lack of choice. The average university graduate in Nigeria would go for teaching rather than cleaning, for instance. There's no way to equate a cleaner with a banker, unless the person cleans Jonathan's room in Aso rock or runs a professional cleaning outfit. You are a toddler who knows nothing, what do you think is a woman's worth? Artificial hair? 2 layers of cement coated face? dangerously long shoes? brand new cars that belong to the bank anyways that virtually drop them in all hotels in lagos when they are under pressure to meet targets? people like you think that men are stvpid, You think you have trippled your market value by virtue of being an errand girl for top bankers? I have waited for so long for this day when these egocentric urchins are placed where they belong. You sincerely think that those witchcraft nails are better than the cleaners who get their hands dirty? Men who are excited to be blessed with bankers are mere struggling men who feel they have a working wife to augment their resources, real men make them quit after marriage. By the way, do you know how many first degree holders who are cleaners in banks? |

publisher: Since APC fans (like Barcanista) have successfully defended and justified Buhari's imprisonment of the great FELA KUTI, thus I'd like to hear their views on this.
After Buhari's coup in 1984 with 'corruption' given as excuse, EXECUTIVE President Shagari was placed under house arrest-never tried, while 'ordinary' Vice-President Alex Ekuweme was thrown into the harshest part of kirikiri prison.
What was the rationale behind this? If Shagari's governement was corrupt (according to Buhari) why was the principal and head of government (Shagari) not tried, convicted and thrown in jail?
Is this a sign of what to expect if Buhari is sworn in by May 29, 2015, selective justice?
Over to una... Because your generation of Jonathan has reduced our presidency to a brigade band have no idea that an elected president like shagari deserves some respect. Can Jonathan even call ordinary oil subsidy thieves to order let alone place them on house arrest? |

komekn: It is an assumption based on hearsay and misinformation that we have made an official requisition request to the USA for arms procurement and were refused it is not proven and or substantiated by any Nigerian and or USA Officials. This discourse is currently lost in cheap gutter politicking by Nigeria politicians.
An official requisition order for arms procurement will be specific about weapon systems types and quantity as well as payment terms. If there are controversial aspects of this requisition it is not unknown for it be a subject of various USA congressional select committees before approval is granted.
Nigeria has not completed any of these formalities with regard to USA arms procurement.
Instead we have continued to use middlemen as opposed to direct government to government procurement with the whole transaction shrouded in subterfuge. The reasons are simplistic but very familiar in the context of Nigeria – CORRUPTION our penchant for kick back, over inflation , superfluous consultation fees makes the USA and indeed most Western nations unattractive on account of high level of probity. This makes the option of China, Ukraine and Russia more amiable to us where such practices are common place. A US official said something like that last week, he made a funny remark at the end that Nigerian officials have no knowledge of international politics, he said middle men arm dealers hardly purchase NATO rounds and hardwares it is negotiated directly by government and their senate will have to approve if there is merit of need. He equally lamented that the Nigerian officials are lamenting over what they don't understand. Just read the comments here and have a feel of the kinda block heads on the streets of Nigeria. so shameful. |
