So many fallen heroes |
jmoore: Pretty Daughters. How is Michelle gorgeous? abeg make una go wash eye |
payless: These are fake chiefs from Ibo land. I didn't see feathers attached to the capsI am igbo, thus says my father |
biodunid: I just sent the note below to Shoprite and hope they act on it but until they do I will suggest you read and safeguard yourself. If the security man had done a one to one check between my purchases and my receipt two months ago the Cashier would have denied I paid cash for the sneakers and I would have been up the creek without a paddle. Businesses that do not put in place adequate internal controls put us all at risk.Employer refuses to pay reasonable wage, employee decides to survive at all cost to keep employer's job, who is to blame? i dey laugh!! |
mikyke: Hello friends my name is IK, this was or still is the experience I had/am having as the case maybe. I may not be a constructive writer but will try to pass the message across in simple words and as short as possible.your gf is dumb, because she doesnt know that even the most holy will not accept another man's child. take it as an expensive joke and move on, I must warn you, you should be weary of your fiance's IQ, if at her age she couldn't determine a man who truly loves her then it should raise a red flag for you. |
icebebe: sup guys, this is what i wore to my sister's wedding yesterday, so i decided to share it.I ve chosen the cloth for your wedding, will you like to see? otole!!! |
rudian: have U tried viewing this the other way round, what if she was jst tryn to keep Obama focused on the purpose of that gathering, let's be honest chatting up a storm in a occasion that should be solemn, he was off track and like a wife who is used to seeing her husband do this sort of thing she took action and the result was on point. My view is Michelle was doing the right thing, I dnt tink she was jealous, I think she was protecting his image. If she hadn't done what she did, trust the media it would be agog with the news that Obama didn't respect Mandela and we would see a lot of allusions to the lack of respect for what Mandela fought for and Obama's ethnicity. Way to go Michelle, this just shows why they Say' behind every successful Man there is a Woman'!si!! y quote like say barrow pusher no get wife, yet remained unsuccessful. |
rudedough: [b]I don't want to reply to your comment that is void of facts but hearsay. But know this.does the word mismanagement of taxes ring a bell? you have a point but paying the govt in the face of corruption is a waste. |
Okpuzu01: I am saying dat she shuld nt give her people money but I must be informed. Wotever I do for my mum, I let her know about it. We still have along way to go. Kids are coming, house rents n feedings are there. She has brothers who v grown to work to support their parents bt wnt work. They all believe in asking for money from her. I opened d business for her. Without my consent, she took money from it to pay her parents house rent. There is no room for talks at this point, cut off her source, if the profit from the shop is not getting to the house, then of what use is it? You did not marry her to become a conduit for her parents, what if she is a spinster wont the family move on? now! if the store makes so much that she still has left overs to support her people, increase her quota in the house, here is what i mean. Because she is working, you have to structure what she has to contribute in the running of the home, if the shop meets up those obligations and she still has excess to give to her people, by all means look away. but if her role falls back to your shoulders after she has diverted her own funds then by all means cut off that source. A woman is not a wife material when she comes from a "house" not a "home" when the father recklessly germinates hooligans who are waiting for the opportunity for their sister to marry a man that will carry their cross, those kinda girls are meant for wealthy guys not a struggling young man like you, you have no business marrying a woman from such home at this level of financial ineptitude, most people are deluded that things will improve with time but the truth is; it is not always true. it starts by giving you a long list during the traditional wedding (a sign that your in laws are in a hungry mode), then the barrage of calls to your wife. the deed is done, you are committed, the best you can do is to cut off her source if the source is not doing the needful. you are lucky she is not even doing a white collar job, you wont even know how the funds travel. Take the key to the shop from your wife, find a decent relative or close friend that can be trusted, place him on a performance salary while managing the shop, it is not a must your wife will manage your investment especially where she has failed in the past to do the needful, she can stay at home while she lives at your financial mercy. |
Okpuzu01: I am happily married with one kid. My problem is that, my in laws v been mounting pressure on my wife for money. She gives money to them without my consent. I opened up a business wich eventually collapsed as a result of my wife giving her parents money from the business. Her whole families are depending on her to survive. I v seen that we can't make any meaningful progress in life if things continue the way they are. I v talked to my wife severally and yet, she is not ready to change. I am thinking of taking another wife.did you say you are happily married? |
ngozievergreen: what kind of nonsense is that?I really know some great minds from unizik, and during the black days of ASUU strikes in the last decade the distinguished leadership of prof ilochi okafor and B.N orajiaka was able to shield the students, no doubt about the superb leadership at the time, however, what is most baffling is how a great institution with an amazing leadership at the time churn out a shallow mind like you, perhaps its time I embraced the reality that the biblical judas in every 12 was never a myth. every post of yours makes mockery of that great institution with your resolve on tribalism, you degrade the efforts of that institution to an unimaginable lowest of the lows. I still have my doubt whether that institution really passed through you. |
homesteady: Once again HML to them!what do you need a make up for when you are married to a nightmare. |
obamartins: Wars are expensive to prosecute, u can't fight a war when the source of funding of the war is sabotaged. That's the irony of fighting the Ijaws. Fighting the Ijaws is like killing a mosquito on your scrotum, if u hit hard, u end up killing the mosquito and urself, if u don't hit hard, u will give the mosquito an opportunity to escape. The Nigerian Army is able to fight BH becus the source of funding the war on terrorism is not affected. The average ijaw man is warlike and has nothing to lose, he's not even afraid of death when fighting injustice.delusion grandeur, I don't blame Asari, I blame the sick govt of yaradua who made a mathyr of the lost soul. |
Alexbond: why dnt u read on d nigeria civil war b4 write rubbish!Biafra received international back my friend country like canada supply dem foods n weapons also Isreal,UK supported dem to d fullest .furthermore am very sure u cant do more dan baifra cos dey r wiser n stronger dañ ur ijaw brodas.biafrans kill ed ova 45000 sojas of FRN n dey lose only 15000 sojas cos dey were favoured at d begining of d war with dere operation tiger claw. in addition u said u will block nigeria source of income but dnt forget dat is nt only ijaws dat produce d oil in naija also during a war food is d most important thing both for armies n citizen.abi una sojas go cari gun with empty stomach? did u guys ve d ariable land for farm? or enuf food in store? or international link? in a nut shell nigeria has everitin as at now dat will survive her for a civil dat we last two yrs.u cant start a war without adequate planing!you read the Biafran war and still alleged the UK supported Biafra? SMH |
barcanista: Ignore that Igbo-man, WE the Ijaws are not calling for war or secession, but resource control and improved living standardHow does resource control solve the many woes of the delta? |
phantom: the ogbias seem to relate more with obua/ahoada people.they should have been in rivers stateis that what the thread is about? |
obamartins: Yet they fought the Nigerian Army to a standstill, thereby crippling the Economy of Nigeria and forcing Oil prices to skyrocket in the Global Market, forcing Obj and Yardua to call for a truce. You know nothing about the IZONS.you call bombing an unguarded pipeline In the middle of a bush a war? and cut in oil production victory? you really over estimated your sanity. |
princenayo: The saying that those whom the gods want to destroy, they first make mad, may be haunting Nigeria's ex-tyrant once again. This time, it is not the ex-dictator's violent and lawless kleptocracy that seems to be the matter. Judging from the sworn affidavit by Obasanjo's first son, Gbenga, it would appear that his father's life may be much more seedy and sordid than anything one has ever imagined. To cut a long story short, Gbenga, through his lawyers, attested that his father, Olusegun "Igbochukwu" Obasanjo, has had a love affair with his wife! Readers are invited to digest the report on this abomination below. Poor Gbenga! What kind of father would destroy a son's life this way? Like in the Iyabo contract scandal, this "family affair" (no pun intended) has profound socio-economic implications for the country.is that the best Jonathan's media hawks could come up with? lolzzzzzzz the response in the waiting? free education influenced phd I dey laugh |
agbameta: You people are too naive and clueless, you talk and behave like elementary school kids..exactly what they are, the military is watching |
egift: Does it mean Jonathan is not man enough to say If or Not he is contesting 2015?at least billionaire now understand what tambuwal meant by body language, |
abbyrian: Each time I pick up one of these top fashion mags in Nigeria to read, I am appalled when I read fashion write ups ranting about the 'crop top' as an emerging fashion trend in Nigeria. The magazines talk about the summer and how the crop top is the perfect outfit to remain stylish and comfortable for the season. It's understandable, that we are going global and so is our fashion drive but the crop top becoming a trend |
omogidi234: Let us wait and see. By the way in another thread, have you read what happened to the 20 something members who wanted to sit and counter the "proposed plan" of the 5?Meanwhile some non living things were slamming Sahara reporters for bringing the news to them, I have no doubt that most Nigerian youths are m0r0ns, sanity in Nigeria starts from age 40, disgraceful to say the least. |
PapaFejiro: That book by the late great Chinua Achebe THERE WAS A COUNTRY is a masterpiece. Can you imagine Chinua was asked if he wanted his interview in his house in the village or if he wld rather travel to Enugu. He chose the later and it actually did happen. After reading that book I compared Nigeria and Nigerians today and Nigeria and Nigerians back then. honestly I wondered what really happened to Us. Our country is in despair. Our attitudes and way of life degenerates by the minutes. Our governments have CLEARLY forgotten the primary function of government which is RESPONSIBILITY to the people. We are in trouble. And I weep here in Doha when I see great ppl of this forum fighting daily trying so hard to debase other tribes. I think its time to clearly decide: stay together and tolerate each other in love or simply and peacefully break up the country and let each group become independent. i think We can do international relations and respect each other then, not this hullabaloo we are currently facing making our collective growth stunted. May God bless us all. AMEN.I think you are worst off than the youths you are reprimanding, if after all the wrongs you wrote and you came up with breaking away as the panacea, it simply under mines your freedom of speech. I don't expect you to come out with a pragmatic solution either since you have been exiled in far away Doha, should I? |
Billyonaire: Tambuwal is unserious, how can a Speaker of House of Assembly, make allegation based on "Body Language", is Tambuwa a behavior therapist ? I often say, if you want a man to fail, tell him to talk. Tambuwal opened his mouth and failure comes out.It is called diplomacy and it puts him in a position of plausible deniability while the message leaves unfeathered, I dont expect you to know that anyways. |
naija2dabone: By january 2015, I will take up a voluntary full time job campaigning and promoting the candidature of GEJ and his transformation programme (Note that I did not say transformation agenda). This is because, GEJ administration is a CLEAR DEPARTURE from how Nigeria has been runned over the years. It is indeed a breath of fresh air in terms of performance and results.Okupe shares the same sentiment too |
kel4soft: Men am scared to know what will happen further. I will just pass through old GRA, then Ogbunabali then back to my house at Woji. Am done with work today.why do you have to travel that far to work? |
maureeno: Hmmm.very obvious.A man då̝̅† beats up his fiancee, why won't he beat her up after payin her bride price.Ƅŭţ dere's nothin prayer can't do.if she goes ahead with the weddin, she shud be prepared to amend her ways so as not to offend the guy to warrant beating, then add prayers.he will even beat the pregnancy outif you need prayer to stop someone from assaulting you, what then do you use your brain for? |
If banks are closing because of this, imagine what we small busniess men suffer.. I now have to pay extra to hire armed guards to escort my vehicles whenever they have to leave the state, because every state you enter, has one agbero waiting to obtain you. You pay Federal Tax, You pay State tax, You pay Local Government tax, you pay regulators levies (sometimes, 1 business has over 4 - 5 regulators whose licences you must acquire at a cost), still pay association levies, e.t.c.. HABA NA!! And people are wondering why nobody wants to invest in Nigeria.. Peoples businesses die before they even begin.
multiple taxation yet the money is stolen, let me share an irony with you since you are a ph guy, in the month of june all LGA's shared a federal allocation of 114.98bn which leaves obioakpor with nothing less than 400m, internally generated revenue of obioakpor is near 300m monthly which leaves that LGA with roughly 700m every month. Now the only LGA project in obioakpor as far as Nsirim's administration is concerned is the rukpokwu market which he shamelessly put at over 2b naira. for almost 3yrs, his only major project is a market at an inflated cost this is the problem with Nigeria, obiakpor has the worst roads in Nigeria, in this same LGA, NDDC is equally helping out with some street corners yet obiakpor does nothing to give back to tax payers. this issue of senseless taxation will hang some heads on a spike. |
ejifranks: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/10/banks-may-shut-operations-imo/This is the part of APC i dislike most, heavy taxes in the face of monumental corruption, Nigerians kept quiet all these years because they perceive govt money is free money, a type of Govt is coming to make the masses pay from their pockets to fund the govt, leaving corruption and govt waste in tact. That govt is the govt that will spark revolution in the most populous black nation in the world. PDP understood this theory very well, by keeping taxes low while they steal from the nation. Statutory taxes cannot be the case here, the question is; Has statutory taxes been increased as seen in almost all APC states? Bola tinubu should wise up! |

That's pushing overboard, in my opinion. Well, that's my opinion, please let me know what you think
