Romance › Re: How Can One Tell Someone 'it's Over' Without Really Hurting Their Feelings? by jpphilips(m): 8:52pm On May 06, 2012
Onegai: Seriously, you don't wake up having problems in your relationship and magically fix them with a breakup. Your breakup reflects your relationship, I've seen this 100% of the time. If you go about it immaturely, you will regret, because you made that decision to break up with an immature mind. So better think things through and be slow to break up, just as you were hopefully slow to enter the rel.
maturity in breaking up? what does that mean? i am saying this for the umpteenth time, ladies need just two hours in a life time to understand a little how men think.

lemme ask you? do you know him before he asked you out? he was just any random guy in whom you were well pleased that's all. you weighed your options and fell for him out of "suitability", i don't see the need for protocols when i personally think you are no longer "suitable".
if a girl thinks that my break up strategy is immature then, that is for her friends to worry about not me.
all i will tell you is this;

" this relationship was my idea and i want it no more" depending on my mood, i may tell you why or i may just walk, if you bother my phone, i will simply remind you that i was the one that walked up to you in the grocery store, if i meant the world like she claims, the reverse should be the case.

women need protocols and strategies to be approached, need counseling to consummate and now, we need protocols to "break up" please i am not jobless.

Car Talk › Re: The Need To Have A Tyre Pressure Guage by jpphilips(m): 10:13pm On May 05, 2012
Wallie: An overinflated tire won't cause your tire to explode! Overinflation of tires will generally lead to more wear and rough handling of your car. It can also reduce the effectiveness of your brakes because you will have less contact patch (the surface of the tire becomes more rounded instead of being squared).

The rough handling occurs due to the sidewalls of the tire becoming unyielding (no deflection). You will feel every single bump on the road.

In reality, you have to adjust your tire pressure based on the load your car is carrying, which is why your car manual should give you a separate tire pressure for “max load.”

Underinflation is what causes tires to explode due to the heat being generated by the tire (too much friction).

upuphim: Once married, is married. There exists a bond between the two as they are one. Whether fake name is involved or not it is still the same spirit and the same emotion. I'm married for 15yrs, I've not cheated on my wife and by God's grace I will never. I foresee the marriage work in future if the man can forgive the woman because once beaten twice shy. Thank God it wasn't another man that saw pics. In summary, when you are too suspicious of anything, you will definitely get a clue to your surprise and curiousity. The married in the house, let's learn to build trust all the way. Avoid being married yet single. The world we are in now, requires husband and wife being together always.
for 15yrs you ran your home without common sense wow!!! you must be a hero ,the only reason your post should be forgiven is if it is proven that you have a poor capacity to understanding English language, anything short of that, you deserve a brain surgery.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Charles Taylor Awaits War Crimes Court’s Verdict by jpphilips(m): 6:22pm On Apr 26, 2012
kalokalo: The International Criminal Court is a kangaroo court that carries out the foreign policy agenda of Western Powers. When are they going to try and convict George Bush, Tony Blair, Donald Rumsfeld, Henry Kissinger, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Dick Cheney, Dick Cheney, Barack Obama and other war criminals that roam the world free?

1) Who armed, trained and financed the Contras in Nicaragua with hundreds of thousands murdered?
2) Who armed, trained and financed the Libyan rebels that committed crimes against humanity on defenseless Libyans and black Africans?
3) Who is arming, training and financing the armed terrorists destroying Syria at the moment?
4) Who is responsible for the destruction and balkanization of the old Yugoslavia?
5) Who is responsible for the assassination and overthrow of over 20 democratically elected leaders of other nations.
6) Who is responsible fro arming and financing both sides of the Iran-Iraq war
7) Who Supplied Saddam Hussein with the chemical and biological weapons used to gas the Kurds in the eighties for which he was hanged?
cool Who is responsible for the untold horror of deaths (in millions) sanctioned by NATO nations against weak independent nations due to wars and economic blockades?
9) Who is arming and propping up tyrannical dictatorships like Saudi, Bahrain, Qatar, despite their repression of their own people for pecuniary natural resource interests?
10) Who is supplying Israel with white phosphorus used as cluster bombs that is causing untold birth defects, cancers and baby deaths among Palestinians in a bid to depopulate them?
11) Who is responsible for heinous crimes too numerous to mention implemented under pretexts of bringing democracy and 'humanitarian intervention'?
12) Who has as much blood on their hands as US presidents with their EU/NATO satellites to act with impunity in their never ending wars on weak independent nations that refuse to tow their line?

Why have they refused to implement the Nuremberg Statutes that declare aggression against other nations as the Supreme International Crime punishable. Between 1945 and today, US presidents have invaded more than 25 countries, with at least 3 in the last decade. Millions have been killed and sovereign nations destroyed.

what most people fail to realize is that modern warfare is more psychological than physical.
i wasn't surprised it came from Tam David because even as a civilian, he served a military administration so at least he understands that perception is vital in military strategies.

i wasn't surprised at most Nigerians because we live in a country where a nitwit like beaf will get a special advisory position, a country that celebrate incompetence, if it were Iran or North Korea lucky joe will run out of luck to face serious treasonable charges, at least Iraq will throw a dirty shoe to his face without remorse.

when the Chinese PL12 missile was still a concept weapon, they didn't even have a carrier aircraft at the time but was in a hurry to go world wide touting it as the biggest blast weapon in the world.
what about the US and their "invincible" spy drones? we know a unit is cooling off in Iranian custody, wondering which Iranian eye saw it lol.

it is all about perception and it is very irresponsible of our C in C to utter such rubbish but for someone advised by a nincompoop like beaf i expect less.

for years now some American allies are relatively safe from insurgence because of the war on terror, why was the Liberian west side boys eager to sign a truce with the British led NATO but not with the ECOWAS led ECOMOG when the later has been pounding them for years? ans: perception/paranoia of what they think the British will do.

A sell out like this will not only put Nigerians at risk but also will encourage every Islamic bingo to test their sanguinary antics on Nigerian soil.
does any of you know the state of mind of Men and women who put their lives on the line to secure this failed state?

this is an irresponsible mockery of our cohesive apparatus of state though coming from a head of state who has proved incompetence beyond reasonable doubt, is no news.

do you know how many servicing companies in ph just because of SPDC's presence?

They might be discussing some business sensitive issue,
He might be scolding her and would let others to hear his voice or what the subject matter is,
He might be discussing some people at the place of work,
He might be discussing promotion of other colleagues- Who to promote and who to sack

There are a million and one things that can be discussed and needs to be discussed behind closed doors.

Do you work in an office environment? Has there been a time your boss or colleague told you to come into his/her office and shut the door?

The fishy part is a man thats phocking his colleague, If they told him his wife is around, Most times he would panic and not take up to 30mins before attending to you, But if his hands are clean he would see no reasons to hurry with the colleague
you forgot to add, sharing deal money or falsifying audit figures, always behind close doors.

Politics › Re: Hats Off To Ngozi, Show Barack Obama The Meaning Of Meritocracy by jpphilips(m): 5:56am On Apr 03, 2012
it is an irony for someone except for a disgruntled poster to associate NOI with competence.
lemme start with her so called accomplishments at home:
NOI paid 12bn usd to clear the Nations debt, sounds impressive but s!lly,
how did we get into the debt mess in the first place? state governors were culpable for over 60‰ of the loans.
these loans under NOI's watch were apparently siphoned by the govts of the day without a single infastructure on ground.
she was in a position to advise the president to go after govs like ibori, alamaesigha, peter odili etc. and recover the funds needed for the debt relief project.
i need not remind you that ibori's loot alone could pay off that debt yet she advised the FG to pay from its purse with a meagre contribution from state govs who were the most culpable.
i need not remind you also that as a sitting minister of finance at the time, she is a signatory to state allocation cheque disbursements which she could leaverage to make the Govs pay more.
juxtapose the economic challenges bedeveviling the country @ the time with d debt relief, it only begs the question: was the debt relief in whose interest exactly?
lemme guess, to be in d good books of world bank, from MD to a presidential nominee is no coincidence.
she is sitting today on that same sit and she believes its justified sending a plethora of Nigerians to facilitate between exorbitant enthusiasm, irrational instability and caligraphy of agony because she believes 'molue' runs on diesel, while a microscopic few like Andy uba lived in pleasant luxury and complacent solicitium as a mere presidential houseboy.
that error in judgement has relegated an oil rich nation to face her biggest enegy crisis and inflation in its history.
NOI failed to advise the president to seek local production capacity to boost local refining yet she is touted as a strategic economist, what an irony.
when the OP mentioned PHD, i nearly chuckled to death, we have a PHD HOLDER IN THE PERSON OF GEJ WHO HAS PROVED INCOMPETENCE BEYOND EVERY REASONABLE DOUBT.

My dear, PHD is on Paper while the economy is a reality.

Does the OP think that Obama is as s!lly as he is for his inability to read the handwritting on the wall and face reality squarely?
NOI promised Nigerians a govt expenditure cut, has it happened? NO, she promised palliatives geared @ alleviating the sufferings of the common man, where are they? and the OP thinks that the intl community will take a goon whose words mean nothing seriously?
@ least Compo has a pedigree of economic achievements in his country, what has NOI done for the Nigerian economy? paper work? oh!! please.
Politics › Re: World Bank Job: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Is "Honoured" by jpphilips(m): 12:26pm On Mar 27, 2012
Big B1: I love this lady very much and without any doubt on mind she would fly high and make us proud. But I also doubt it if she would be elected as the final candidate, simply because of her Nigerian label.

The poor leadership structure, high level of corruption and the unbelivable/ unnecessary low standard of living in the country have changed the green white and green to black, black and black.
And this image remains the same until Nigerians are sensible enough to rescue this nation from the hands of greedy vultures, that call themselves leaders.

Unfortunately, this despicable image would be the main reason why Mrs Iweala would be rejected at the final minutes.

Even to get a $10 per hour job as a NIGERIAN in USA becomes a dream, all because of poor leadership and ridiculous images we have given ourselves all around the world.
So, it is not a terrible thing for Mrs Iweala to continue to dream.

It is up to all of us.
lol, sychophants dont cease to amaze me, @ op please without prejudice tell us the economic landmark of NOI as a 2 time serving minister of finance?
keep your BS to yourself, 12bn dollars was paid as debt relief to achieve what exactly? lemme guess, to be in the good books of world bank? what was the economic impact when juxtaposed with the plethora of problems bedeveilling the Nigerian economy at the time?
As the cordinating minister of economy, an oil producing country is suffering the biggest energy crisis in its history and you are justifying that incompetence?
removal of subsidy has taken the economy 10 steps backward and NOI thinks its justified because molue runs on diesel?
what positive impact has the removal of subsidy on our economy? zero, has it created the much needed jobs? NO, has the infastructures arrived? NO refineries nko? 4 where, so what is the poster whinning about?
the president had lots of viable options, a strategist economist like soludo will consider the economic down turn and removal wouldnt be an option yet we have a petit economic mosquito who thinks she will achieve eldorado in the midst of abject poverty and irrational instability.
do you think the international community is as stupeed as we are? do you think they see things from a micro, myopic point of view? we said jona was the best thing that happened to this country yet he failed woefully at the AU chairmanship contest, a non influential, quasi, underfunded, petty, regional contest, sane people think otherwise yet we come home to give accolades to a leader whose glaring failure has plunged the citizenry into a miasma of insecurity and economic quagmire.
im glad he came back to bury his face in shame.
Ngozi will contest, the world will point to the fact that though Nigerians in their bigotry failed to tell her the truth, she will bury her face in shame because im certain jim a mere university leader will beat her aarse in that contest.
who is next? sanusi oh! that one? even sudan will not be generous to give him a mere branch manager of an islamic bank let alone a financial tutor in a sharia college.

the last time i checked,

Nuhu ribadu fought
corruption @ home and the intl com tot it wise to give him an anti corruption job in afghanistan,
wole soyinka wrote scintillating pieces of poetry and the intl comm rewarded him with a nobel price, what of Adichie? chinua achebe? did i forget the late legendry prof chike obi ?who in his mathematical wizandry and grotesque ingenuity, proved the frasch equation of 1947, did i not mention philip emegwali the 1986 gordon bell price winner?
chukwuma soludo, the man whose ingenuity gave birth to a revolution of white collar jobs in our nations history.
yes, that is my definition of competence.

Vodoo economists, busy growing economy on paper while the vast majority of Nigerians facilitate in exorbitant ethusiasm, irrational instability and calligraphy of agony while a microscopic few piloting the affairs of this nation live in pleasant luxury and complacent solicitum.

which ecomic paradox has our economy defiled that acclaimed professionals has seen it a herculean task to bridge the chasm between the upper class and the lower class?

It is sadonic and pitiably lugubrious for a minority few who have benefitted immensely from this economic disparity that has manacled the faith of millions of Nigerians to feign ignorance.

I for one has grown beyond political halleluyahship, Before you blow the whistle of sychophancy, honestly ask urself why new investments are not comming in and why the existing ones are not thriving?

I am not blind to see the doldrom of economy sanusi and iweala are piloting, every day i check the current price of crude in the international market and remember the vast majority of Nigerians living below povery line, i weep for our cohesive economic apparatus and individuals who wield the appartchick of our future.

The level of sychophancy herein is a testimony to how unnoticed the dis service of this two individuals have grown.

We produce oil running into billions of dollars on daily bases, produce gas worth billions of dollars yet

Our economic messiahs has bestowed upon us the biggest energy crisis in the world

We have proudly inherited one of the most scarce and over priced energy sources in the world.

Does it not suprise you that graduates of 5yrs are still sitting at home?

Does it not suprise you the level of joblessness in this country a function of social vices?
