Fed govt is desperate to drag Nnamdi Kanu down, yet the man is busy growing stronger every day by day. How can you pay some miscreants money to say something against Kanu like you paid some hausas and my Yoruba Muslim brothers to engage in "I support Buhari protest" that took place in Abuja some days ago, saying that they are from Niger Delta while they don't know where SS is located in Nig map.?

This desperate steps by Fed govt won't stop Biafra from coming.
Biafra must come and we Yorubas must have our Oduduwa too, whether my muslim brothers like it or not. They can relocate to north if they don't want Oduduwa.
God bless my mentor, Adeyinka Grandson.

Below are the pictures of the so called Niger Delta youths that couldn't spell the names of their tribes correctly.
Shameless and desperate govt !!

Modified..... That first person that quoted me is my Yoruba brother but he's a Muslim . They are the least intelligent set of people in Yoruba land and they are very proud to exhibit their ignorance wherever they go..We Christians are ahead of them in all ramifications and they have chosen to drag us back in SW. There is nothing like Ogini but Ogoni.

Exposure is very important.
The bold parts of your post placed you on the same academic pedestal as Kanu, are you by any chance a school drop out?

I don't really understand Ipob's plan if election doesn't hold on November in Anambra state. What govt is gonna be controlling the state if they eventually succeed with "No-November Election?"

You know, when we say Kanu and his gangs are illiterates, you guys don't believe us, his first move since unleashed from Kuje prisons was to ask for an unconstitutional referendum, his second is stopping Anambra elections, a move considered as truncating a democratic process by global standards, what Kanu does not know is that several heads of states not just freedom fighters have died for that same mistake in the last 50yrs.
While i urge him to continue with his nuisance value, Kanu alone will strap his neck on the rope then kick the table.

Why is this Camouflage thing still a Law in this Nation? How is this considered appropriate in a nation of civilised people?

I have seen photos of Senator Dino wearing a Camouflage and Governor Fayose wearing camouflage and nobody harassed them. Why is it okay for the people in Government positions to break the law and the citizens can't? I remember that even during the Military regimes, driving an Army Green car irrespective of the make was grounds for harassment. Isn't that just foolish?

The law states that wearing any part of the uniform of an officer (Military or Para-military) is an offence. So technically wearing a black trouser can be taken to be wearing a police uniform. Or wearing a Navy blue trouser taken as wearing part of the uniform of the Air force. Same for White trousers and the Navy.

I really hate when these Biafran Agitators refer to Nigeria as a Zoo but when shiit like this is still happening, one can't help but see their point.

Simply make impersonation a crime and leave it at that. Anything beyond that is foolishness.
You are just an illiterate, get the fvck off the internet and stop disgracing Nigeria.

The right of opinion granted to the Southern Cameroonians does not in anyway interprete as a referendum or plebiscite, even by drunk standards.
Nigeria recognises only the 1999 constitution, whatever that was provided for in the Macpherson and Richard's are no longer binding, for someone to quote a 1961 event in 2017, is ecclipse of knowledge.

90% of those who posted on this thread have zero knowledge of international politics, there is absolutely nothing to learn here. Dont waste your time.

I have to agree on the bolded.

For the ICJ at THE HAGUE, their ruling becomes binding on any country that willing go there for any adjudication on a case, usually a trans-national or international case. The Bakassi case adjudication became binding on Nigeria the moment Nigeria agreed AHEAD OF TIME to abide by its ruling.
That is why Cameroun kept persuading Nigeria to go there with them, and Nigeria "mumuishly" went there. The rest is history.

As for the International Criminal Court (ICC), that is binding on all countries that are SIGNATORY to it.
Nigeria is a signatory to ICC, so her leaders are subject to being dragged there for justice on issues of crimes against humanity.
That is why IPOB wear body cameras gathering shooting evidences against unarmed civilians by the Nigeria police and others.
One day "Sai Baba" go hear am.
They are not aware that Nigeria like several countries can pull out from any international agreements or treaties, just like Trump pulled out of the Paris accord,;what do they know?

kingzizzy:
I can't comment on referendum as a process since I'm not an international Lawyer but I can comment on the 'right' to a referendum. I believe that any ethnic group in Nigeria can seek referendum based on the fact that Nigeria is just a mere colonial contruct. The argument for a referendum is that the people who populate Nigeria were never consulted before Lugard unilaterally created Nigeria. This renders the 1914 amalgamation illegitimate and thus, a referendum becomes the only legitimate way for the various ethnicities to define their political borders. A clause in the amalgamation document purpotedly claims that after 100 years, any of the ethnic nationalities that make up Nigeria who are no longer happy with the union can opt out. The fact that Nigeria is an illegal fabrication of the White man is at the very heart of why a referendum should be conducted. Referendum is the legitimate way to reverse the illegal amalgamation of 1914 and to decolonize Nigeria. I remember watching on YouTube an interview Asari Dokubo gave where he claimed that the Ijaw people sent a delegation to the colonial office in London in 1923 to ask the British Government why they included the Ijaw people in Nigeria. Dokubo also claimed that the Egba people of South west Nigeria never became part of Nigeria until that same year of 1923. My late grandfather was born an Igbo man in 1902, he told me before he died that he did not know he had been made a Nigerian until 1920. The fact that most people were made Nigerians without their knowledge also renders Nigeria as an act of fraud thus lending credibility to the notion of a referendum. On the whole, the case for a referendum is very strong and if the Nigerian Government eventually does not agree to a referendum, I believe it will later lead to a second civil war
Your illiteracy knows no bound, take heart!

Politics › Re: The North Will Be Making The Greatest Mistake If They Declared A War On Igbos by jpphilips(m): 5:33pm On Aug 15, 2017
wanimo:
The biggest mistake the northerners will make is to pick up a fight with Biafrans in this 2017. It would be an error if they assume that the Nigeria of 1967 is the same with the Nigeria of 2017. As at today, the lies and deceit which Nigeria has been dwelling on has been laid bare, thanks to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. These northerners have been beating drums of war against igbos without thinking about the consequences of such an action.

The Nigerian civil war of 1967 was a war of a country divided into 2. If there should be another war today, it's going to be much more complicated. The middle beltans, the Yorubas, the Southern Riverine ethnic nationalities would never again fight under a united umbrella called Nigeria. The slightest eruption of violence will see the balkanization of Nigerian into not less than 4 entities.

In the recent past, people of many ethnic groups aside those of the core north have come to identify with Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, pledging their support. Many others have openly denounced their alliances with the north should Nigeria ever be faced with disintegration.

The core northerners who are beating these drums of war, are basking on the belief that they are in control of all the armed apparatuses of Nigeria at the moment. They feel that they have the capacity to unleash violence and destruction on any dissenting voices in the country. However, it's obvious that they are in for a lot of surprises. They shall witness an unprecedented level of desertion, defection and sabotage this time around. The table shall turn should they decide to take the route of violence and destruction.

In an event of war, igbos would surely band together and fight for survival, discarding all their differences. In as much as we expect to have a few saboteurs in our midst, we shall overcome through a unified majority as war is no respecter of class, status, wealth or poverty. The worst that would happen is that many rich people will flee with their families and this shall not be peculiar to igbo land alone. All the regions and ethnic groups shall experience a similar fate.

Many others ethnic nationalities would seize the opportunity to break free from this bondage of a country called Nigeria. The core north as they are right now, without the support of the middle belt and the Yorubas do not have the capacity to engage Biafrans in a war. The support Nigeria enjoyed from her European colonial masters in 1967, shall surely be missed this time around.

The north shall be worse of as their economy shall crash in a matter of months. They shall automatically become landlocked while battling terrorism and insurgency in a time of warfare. Their huge population of uneducated youths shall surely rise against their elites. Within a period less than 2 years, the north would only be comparable to Somali or Afghanistan. The greed and arrogance of these northern elites shall be their greatest undoing.

However, all these are clearly avoidable. The Nigerian state must tow the lane of honor and listen to the voice of reason. Conduct a referendum or call all groups together and renegotiate the unity of Nigeria. It's obvious that we Biafrans are not calling for a war. We have maintained a very peaceful disposition in our expression of our inalienable rights to self determination.

We want a referendum and not war, and we shall not stop our agitation until our demands for a referendum are met. We are Biafrans.

Biafra or nothing
Remind us again, how old are you?

I dnt agree with ur analogy about "dad losing his job", it doesn't apply to this situation. We all know oil price is down, and it will affect us since we are oil dependent. But I mentioned issues besides the economy/recession. Ethnic violence/agitation, marginalization of the south, below par cabinet that only help to worsen things, fulani herdsmen, lack of prosecution on those alleged to be corrupt, the cloud of uncertainty (along with lack of transparency) hovering above the presidency whenever on medical visit etc. These are areas this administration could have performed better to cushion the negative effects of the economy on the masses and show that level of competence needed to steer the country away from the current economic turmoil. It's over 2 years and we all know some ministers and Co aren't up to the task, no changes have been made to show complacency wnt be tolerated. The military few months ago bombed an idp camp thinking they were insurgents. Few weeks ago, the same military lied about rescuing kidnapped nnpc workers until "BOKO HARAM" released a video to counter their claims (u can imagine the irony). No one was publicly held accountable or penalised for such colossal f*ckup, jst an apology letter released and it's all been swept under the carpet as usual. The lack of professionalism within the current administration is alarming. 2 years on, and Jonathan's name is still being dragged in at every opportunity, making lame attempts to hide their lack of achievement behind his flaws while he was president. How can they continuously showcase Jonathan's flaws and completely fail in highlighting their strengths?
Ethnic violence and agitations? correct me if I am wrong, we have been living with communal clashes since I was born, I think presently, its reduced considering our population growth over time, they all fall under law enforcement lapses, my expectations isn't out of the ordinary, did you really vote any government in Nigeria hoping that the NPF will become NYPD? come on!! grin grin

Agitations like IPOB you mean? grin grin who told you they are agitating? those are political tools used by state governors to pressure the federal government to dissolve the federation account, do you sincerely think it's a coincidence that Kanu is shouting Biafra on one end, the politicians are shouting "restructuring and resource control"? it's all about the federation account, the question is; why do they want the federation account dissolved? simple, because they want more money due to fall in crude price, so I can draft the chronology for you, fall in crude price led to agitation for Biafra, led to agitation for restructuring as the end game, do you sincerely think the FG is stvpid not to figure it out?

By middle of 2013, the federation account was providing about 1.3T naira for sharing, today, it provides less than 480b naira, no thanks to the fall in crude price, so the state governors have quickly condemned the idea of sharing, they now see it as a taboo grin grin grin, they want to control the resources without making any investment, grin grin which sane FG will listen to that crap? now they go to the people, you and I know that Nigerians are extremely ignorant, the people side with them and the noise reaches a crescendo!! The politicians know that Nigerians are too dvmb to ask how we are gonna be maintaining equitable distribution of wealth, the primary function of the federation account?

When they see the resolve of the federal government as unwavering, the so called mass followership they have will quickly define their interest, they will come to an understanding that you and I are no direct beneficiaries of state funds, they will go home, in the interim, we can all enjoy the noise, it doesn't call for any concern trust me on that. With a president like Buhari that can not be intimidated even in death grin grin, those so called economic agitations will die a natural death.

Before you blame those ministers, first find out when last their budgetary allocation was paid, where is the money? when you see the money, find out if it is a borrowed fund that we will pay back or service in the nearest future. Those are the fundamental issues not the hogwash flying around. If you think the PDP will do better under the circumstance, then you must be ready for a rude shock.

Prosecution of corrupt persons cost a lot of money, the smartest thing to do is collecting the much we can through plea bargain, the stubborn ones can be axed with the Judiciary hoping you understand the Judiciary bottlenecks, while i would love a democracy with consequence management, I am not so enthusiastic seeing a Madueke in prison at a huge cost, we rather settle for her loot funding a part of the budget as we saw in the 2017 budget till the situation improves.

The rann bombing was a mistake though regrettable but not out of the ordinary, the military accepted responsibility and apologised for it, what else were you expecting? Axe the service chiefs? don't be ridiculous, in a game of life and death, both cards are always on the table, if you follow the news you would have heard that in October 2015, a US AC-130 gunship erroneously bombed an MSF hospital in Kunduz, that plane is more advanced and sophisticated than the ancient of days our air force use, yet they made such disastrous error, the story is the same for several advanced militaries of the world, if we have flown thousands of sorties in the NE and made just one error, I think you should cut the military some slack!!

You misunderstand my approach. But pls gather the issues Nigeria and her citizens faced under Jonathan, then compare it with the current plight of/in the country then maybe u'll begin to understand my perspective. I'm not commending the performance of pdp (as incumbent or opposition), neither am I rooting for pdp, bt I believe we hit an all time low under the current leadership. It's been both comical and disheartening to experience, a complete shit-storm where no form of shelter can keep one immuned, well except those making it rain. Nigerians are like kids who are still asking for the usual three lumps of meat when their father just lost his job, you can not bring to a logical bare the sufferings of Nigerians currently without fixing culpability where it rightly belongs. The country is an oil dependent economy and oil price has crashed, there is no miracle that will make you to continue living like a king, that is a fact!! You must understand this fact, embrace it and accept it by taming your expectations.
whether it is a Jonathan or Buhari, I only expect proper management of our dwindled income not growth, realistically speaking, both of them have failed woefully in that objective, while a Buhari will grant forex subsidy to religious fanatics, Jonathan is willing to dash the federation account to a pretty minister, so PDP and APC have nothing to offer us in the philosophy of prudence in a dwindling economy.

If you excuse the economy, it is no rocket science to know that buhari is a far lesser evil than Jonathan.

In Jonathan's administration, looting was the primary issue, he also cld've done better tackling insurgency in the North although he wasn't afforded time to combat boko haram after procuring sophisticated weapons to match the fight, also he cld've done better with regards to capital projects, infrastructure and development for the south. But Buhari's admin seems to be hijacked (even his wife became helpless and had to cry out at some point), religious and ethinic agitation/violence is on the rise, the economy has nosedived so far down it's been ridiculous, inflation skyrocketed, businesses and livelihoods completely collapsed due to the difficult environment, incompetent cabinet lacking the skill knowledge and innovation to make a positive difference, lies propaganda excuses and suppression of news, choking citizens with more taxes yet no matching results to show for, a president that has spent more time outside the country than in it and shows no regard to majority of taxpayers who labor so he can keep up with his expensive medical trips and treatment, not one high profile corruption case dat has been successfully prosecuted even when evidence has been glaring, inability to curtail the various security threats (even a technically defeated boko haram still shedding blood and causing immeasurable damage in the northeast)
Ok, and dis administration has served u and ur family's best interest, abi? If so, then may the effects of this current reality of things in this country be permanent for u and ur pple. Ensure u add an amen to dat angry
While you made very valid points with a balanced observation, I will tell you what PDP is yet to do even in opposition, they have not proved they have the solutions to the current challenges we face, the challenges are here already and no amount of banters will wish it away, let me give you a few examples from the reply Jonathan gave.

Jonathan said that since oil contribute 15% of our GDP (a figure I doubt because I know how GDP is calculated), fall in crude price should not be a problem, well, oil shock occurred in August 2014 during his presidency, by feb 2015 (6 months after), jonathan's finance minister borrowed to pay salaries, dont think im making this up, permit me to show you:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/afp/article-3070070/Nigeria-borrows-pay-salaries-cash-crunch-worsening.html

In the words of Jonathan's finance minister, I quote;

"We have serious challenges. Things have been tough since the beginning of the year (2015) and they are likely to remain so till the end of the year," said Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, adding that more than half of this year's borrowing allowance had already been exhausted.
With this fact before us, it simply tells me that Jonathan was completely disconnected from the realities Iweala was facing at the time, in other words, jonathan has no clue what crude shock has done to our economy during his reign, how do you expect him or his pdp to fix what they don't understand? or even understand what Buhari is passing through?

I don't want to discuss the journey so far in the fight against insurgency but if for any reason Boko haram was downgraded from a force of over 300 riding trucks and motorcycles to attack villages and kidnap dozens of women and kids, to a mere hide and seek organisation, sending pockets of suicide bombers and laying ambushes in hit and run objective, whatever Buhari and his military did that downgraded Boko haram despite not having $2.1b to throw around is worth giving praise, that is, if you are anywhere close to the epicenter of the conflict.

Here is what the Washington post said about what Buhari is doing in the North East

"For years, Boko Haram has carried the dubious distinction of being Africa’s deadliest terrorist group. But a multinational task force has weakened the group. It has been crippled so badly that al-Shabab has emerged as Africa’s deadliest extremist group".

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2017/07/21/no-al-shabab-isnt-more-deadly-than-boko-haram-here-are-better-numbers/?utm_term=.d9faa4009683

You may ask, Why the Washington post? well, the United states is running intelligence, Surveillance and reconnaissance for Chad and cameroon in the same battle, so rightly put, they are part of it as much as we are, their assessment is based on realistic intelligence facts at their disposal.

In conclusion, while Buhari's economy is fvcked up and desires a huge improvement, PDP and other Jonathanians need to be schooled on the effect of a 70% loss from the federation account as a result of crude shock. Jonathan and his gang need to be sober for a period of 5yrs for what they have done to the Nigerian people, in sobriety, they are expected to use that period to study the economic realities in Nigeria and come up with sound solutions, who knows, sane Nigerians may give them a chance once again.

You are right there where no NATO boots on Libyan soil. But there are few questions we should ask; who supplied the rebels with weapon's they used in overthrowing gadaffi , the air support NATO gave: (especially French rafale jets) and the hell fire missile that was fired at gafaffi's convoy when he was trying to escape.

They should have left them alone, now Libyan armed forces weapons are all over conflicts area in Africa and Asia.
We already know who armed the rebels, the same people you cant arm their own people? they were armed to fight a leader who was smart enough to provide the best per capita income in Africa at the time?
The Libyan people must pay the price for removing Gaddafi, that price will be so steep that looking back every libyan will wish they never did, mark my words!!
when next America brings guns, Libyans should be smart enough to offer it to the trump haters first before destroying their country.
