Please, my Port Harcourt brothers and sisters, how is your DIY journey going. These officers at Port Harcourt office are just demonic agents. Submitted file since on 18 June but haven't heard anything up till now. No call for capture not to talk of passport printing.

What is the way forward?

Never pay anybody 50k. I paid 4k for the NIN to drop after change. Some didn't pay at all but it will take 1 week before it drops.

Are you from another country? In which Nigeria is passport 18k? Passport diy is 26k and express is around 50k

The $300million dollar we spend monthly would be used to develop other sector and maybe the electricity sector would have been more stable hence less consumption of fuel.

To start the process, you'd print out all relevant documents, take it to the third floor to open a file.
I was told that I should come with 7k for this.
After your file is opened, you'd get a text to come for interview
On the interview day, you'd be attended to at the ground floor after your name is called
I guess after the interview you'd be given a date to capture
Remember to write your name behind the building once you come.

Lastly, did you submit your old original passport? Ie. Did you file it alongside the other documents?

And what is this their useless interview for when all my documents are there and they can see me when I submitted it.

Why can't they do the interview and capturing same day?

This is just tactics to waste people's time.

And there is no authority to report to

I'm practically exhausted at this point.

The Port Harcourt immigration office are frustrating.

My interview date was today.

I got there and was asked to submit the file upstairs and go

They said that I can't be interviewed today without any reason.

I don't even understand the whole process anymore.

I don't know whether to regret this online DIY method I used or what.

What was your experience if you did at Port Harcourt office.

This is for renewal not fresh.

And why do they need my old original passport?

Get the guarantor form signed by your guarantor.
A passport photograph of your guarantor attached to the form
Take the form to high court, go to the ICT office down floor and pay 2k.200 to include receipt printout.
Move to the next office and get the form signed and stamped (passport photograph inclusive) after they must have sighted your payment receipt.
Go upstairs to the commissioner of oaths office and get it stamped and signed again.

You are done.

1) printout a copy of your passport application form, acknowledgement form , payment slip, E - passport form to be collected and filled
2) copy of LGA ID, birth certificate/attestation,copy of your NIN, Guarantor form, Guarantor Driver's license or NIN, copy of Guarantor Passport bio-data page.

Ensure to arrange them in this format as I have listed them in an office file and attach your 2 passport photograph to the edge of the file (inner part) left side.

E-passport application form can be gotten by the business centre beside the NIS office.

Got to 3rd floor second office on your right and submit
