Please is it possible for someone on tier4 to become an apprentice for plumbing work?
Well I feel it wont be possible based on the visa you are currently on... I think it only allows for degree programs and 20hr/week plan ... except if you are doing apprenticeship secretly...
If I'm wrong here elders, gurus and ancients can correct me or shed more light

If you have the requisite knowledge before entering the UK, you can start earning almost immediately by becoming a paid apprentice e.g. plumbing mate and get certified (CSCS) then build from there.
but most of us coming on a student visa with this experience, how can we blend in to the 20 hour work schedule of our school... abi we fit run am part time?? I get swimming pool experience and I know every detail about pool plumbing, ive also work with a baba one time on house plumbing, not much difference in terms of plumbing components, parts, and equipments with pool , major difference is working principle, and same goes for sprinkler or fire fighting system .....I can install various types of centifugal pumps... submersible, surface pumps... etc... I guess I have to go n build more on other aspects then.... can one really do the plumbing thing on student visa and get sponsored visa job

I hired a guy to come plaster a section of a wall earlier this month, paid over £200 for less than a 2 hour job. Speaking to him, he said this was his if i can remember correctly his 10th job for the year. He used to drive a Porsche which he sold recently even at a price higher than what he paid for it. My mouth dropped at some of the stories he told us about how much he has made over the years and believe me lots of is that do white collar jobs don't earn that kind of money and they collect cash so don't pay HMRC anything.

Paid one to do the kitchen, minus the cost of the appliances and cabinets i calculated £4000 as his take home for about a 10 day job and he worked at his own pace. How many of us earn that?

When you start, you might have to build credibility and experience, but when you get that, the sky is the limit to what you want to earn and how you want to work.

All the people that ask what certification they need to do to get a job in the UK, of you are still in Nigeria, go and attach yourself to that Baba painter and Bana plumber and Baba carpenter even barber to learn the trade, come here fine tune the skills get whatever CSCS card or certification you need and with God on your side, there are no limits.
but even with the experience you'll still need a licence to work in d uk na... abi purzin go just start to dey work wen e reach there?? Abi make I do this city and guilds london certifications for naija... shey e go get value there?

Take it from someone who has graduated from there, Hull is overrated. Sure, the fees are cheap now but it’s a very small town with very little job opportunities.
So all those care jobs people are talking about isn't as much as we think there, but what about jobs at other cities, is it possible to commute to other cities where jobs are from hull?
And I saw something about it being a large concentration for engineering jobs on their website... so even after graduation sef person no go fit get better work for the city?, I'm an engineer too thats y I dey ask... thanks

Hi everyone, pls how relevantbis MSc project management in the UK. In terms of job search and lucrativeness.I already did some search on Google but wanna hear opinions from gurus here.
from.what I read on here... the certifications such as PMP or PRINCE 2 makes you stand out... it doesn't really pay to study msc project management..... except you have the certifications or will to do the certifications as an addendum... MSC project management alone wont fly well in d Labour market....

Just explain to the employer your constraint with the company no longer in existence, some will take personal references from a Line Manager or supervisor that you reported to back then.

For your second question, references aren't usually that deep (except na CIA or government role), it's largely a documentation process for your file and also protects the employer about due diligence in the event that something happens during the course of your employment.

Just present what you have and you will be fine. Some employers will accept references from official email address while others Just fill and sign and others need a signed and stamped references on companies letterhead

thanks so much...

but what if the company folds up and no longer in existence, but I worked there, how can that be verified

and

What if the company you worked for was not registered initially by CAC, like a one man business and you worked with the man for years, but just recently the company was incorporated... won't the date I started working contradict the date the company was incorporated...say I started work with the coy 2016 and the company was incorporated in 2020 ...

working on that bro. And for the record I am not the cause of the issue. I think she has being planning this since.

she has refuse to put my name on the rent and refuse me to be paying any bills on our names.

all I do is to send money to her acc despite me telling her that I have read it here that if we need to renew our visa we need to let the 2 names reflect on the bills

I believe she might have friends that are teaching her.

But which ever way, I am prepare to use immigration lawyer to help me look into my odds and favours.

Well I don't know how long you've been on binance oo, I'm in Nigeria currently, but what I know is this: as long as you can still login into the app from the UK you're still go to go,.. and it doesn't affect p2p transactions... you can only be affected like d case of nigeria and dat is you can't withdraw directly to your bank account as well as link your bank card to the app

Suspended or restricted ?
It wasn't suspended, only restricted as you cant link your bank cards to it..you can't buy cryptos using your bank.. but currently I heard FIAT is a new method of funding trading accounts with binance.... funding of account was initially done by peer to peer after the restrictions... ... I feel maybe if theres a way it can regulated it will continue be accepted... meanwhile.. criminals wont stop being criminals... theres always a way out... even if the world bans crypto... the world is already corrupt from the government down to citizens... as long as a group of people are still in poverty crimes will not stop

What about senior men on this forum that are educating us on the lifestyle in uk... you think they didn't go through this racism shit right? Or do you think if they have thought like you they would have achieved some of the things they have today...see life is hard everywhere, but I'd rather choose where I make money, live comfortable, manage racism situations by having a thick skin, than living in poverty, unsecured environment and having nonsense hope that E GO BETTER,... didn't see what happened to people that wanted a change in the police department last year at the toll gate..they were killed and nothing was done with all the evidence.. guy wake up.. to hell with the uk its not heaven i wont endure all this stress just to go where i am not wanted Bleep them
Oga most of us in Naija are not wanted here ... if I work the way I've been working since I left school in 2012 till date in the uk , I should have probably have something to show for it.. man I tried entrepreneurship, as well as full time employment baba... it was rough and still rough...dats y I plan on leaving... it seems you are well off to do... if not you even want to whether you are wanted or not... I'm more of living a normal life which I couldn't get here in Nigeria... imagine working very hard and still can't afford a good self contain or room/partlour apartment ... except you work in ikoyi and rent an apartment in Badagry which is cheaper than renting an apartment in places like oworo, yaba, gbagada... your salary can't afford houses close to where you work, and if you choose to stay faraway like badagry, traffic will shorten your life span more especially now that sanwo olu is blocking roads anyhow because of small small repairs, what about insecurities, I was almost robbed in front LASU jan 2 around 8pm in a one chance korokpe.. I had to jump out from the moving when I figured it was a robbery scene.. I had injuries on my body... see oga there are lots of reasons not to be in Nigeria

Its crazy such that my ex once told me that she noticed her bother in law looking scornfully at my shoe when we invited him to our church many years ago and this is a guy who later went to jail in London for fraud although I always told my son whenever my ex insisted on taking my kids to her sisters house that there is nothing positive that he can learn from my exes brother in law as he is a fraudster.

I also remember an ex girlfriends cousin who was dating a fraudster who I went to UI with meeting us at the Elephant and Castle round about many years ago and on alighting from her fraudster boyfriends car the first thing she did was to run to the front of my car to look at the registration number and ask her cousin (my then girlfriend) to my hearing - what Reg car are you guys using huh? Because in those days you could tell the exact year a car was first licenced by looking at the number plate.

Our worship of money and material things in Nigeria is what has brought our country to its current sorry state and the Nigerians in the UK are probably worse than those in Nigeria.
was thinking the life there helps reshape thinking, not knowing it triggers the compressed unseen attributes
