I don't know if they're fraudulent, but something I've noticed is that they don't care what you as their customer think of them. I guess they think they have enough customers, so one doesn't matter. But it'll affect them in the long run. Their arrogance will be their undoing.

Over the years I have only had two friend in my entire life..I can't make new friends not like I care to. But I have always noticed since I was a teenager, people just stare and keep their distance. Olokola Port

These were my posts from September 6th, 2024.

The Ondo and Ogun state governments had partnered to set up a free trade zone. It was to be in the Olokola area, on the border between the two states. The free trade zone was to have a deep sea port, a liquified natural gas plant (OKLNG), a refinery and various other industries. After Bluestar Consortium lost ownership of the Port-Harcourt and Kaduna refineries, Aliko Dangote decided to partner with the Ondo and Ogun state governments and build his refinery in the Olokola Free Trade Zone. It was to be the biggest refinery in Nigeria.




There were also problems with the Dangote Refinery in Olokola. The people of Olokola and Igbokoda demanded a lot from Dangote. The name Dangote evoked visions of wealth and so they made a lot of demands from him. These demands put Dangote off. It was at this time that Governor Fashola of Lagos went to poach Dangote and convinced him to build the refinery in Lekki.

Dangote has since returned to the project. He has vowed to build the biggest port in Africa at Olokola and to build an LNG facility there. He has been very close to Governor Dapo Abiodun and to the APC governorship candidate Yayi Adeola and they have all vowed to execute the project.

So the natives of Ondo and Ogun States lost the refinery project due to greed. If you take another project there today, I'm sure the natives will still act the same way. This sort of thing happens all over Nigeria. Something swear for black man, i swear.

You know, there is this thing about doing good - it feels good. That in itself is sufficient reward. Looking for applause for it is overboard. And even though I am not Christian i subscribe to Jesus' teaching on this matter. If you publicize your good deeds you have already taken your "extra" reward. In fact you have been paid for the deed and it loses its goodness.

Well, I see where you're coming from: the belief or position - which is metaphysical - that talking about your deeds may take away from its worth in the realms above and diminish your reward.
