FoodRe: What Does Locust Beans Add To Food? by JuanDeDios: 10:38am On May 15
Heffalump:
Locust beans and iru don't add any nutritional value to food. Just like the seasoning cubes, no tangible nutritional benefits to the body. It's all for the purpose adding flavours and spices, anything else is zero. This is the reason why people are advised to use these condiments in moderation.
Beats me how people just pull out their phone and type what they know not. Beats me every time.

This one that Mr Tinubu is in Rwanda, I hope Mr Kagame does not infect the president with his ways. Tinubu may be a superhighway-obsessed, not-doing-so-well president, but at least, he’s not jailing, exiling or murdering Nigerians.
BusinessRe: Dangote Rejects NNPC Offer To Increase Stake In Refinery by JuanDeDios: 11:23am On May 14
MadPolitician:
Government should order him to allow NNPC take 50% or he should stop selling to Nigerians. He should be exporting to foreigners.

I believe that he used his contacts at the NNPC to remove taking the agreement that would have increased the nnpc stake in his compay
He says he wants ordinary Nigerians to have it instead. Why don't you like that one?

The polypropylene was supposed to go into local production of everyday goods for west African market and beyond. I was surprised when Yekini carried highways on his head like Gala and LaCasera instead of trying to capitalise on the new found raw material around. It is well.
The private sector should do it though. But I share your disgust at Mr Tinubu's single-minded obsession with superhighways.

Nothing has been reduced. Each school still sets its own cutoff mark for each course.

Which one is rejact naa? JAMB's cutoff was never mandated for Universities. It's just a point which no university in the country is allowed to go below. This is a false conflict.

That man thinks of his country first. Make America great again before anything. Never has he said that his people needs to suffer or go through pain for a period of time before they start enjoying. His people won't mind his logistics convoy.
So Mr Trump thinks of anybody but himself. Alright.

WantsandMore:
The next billion dollar industry is localized data centers in places like Lagos, Edo, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, places with access to water and energy. Powered by cheap gas turbines, solar or hydro thermal power. No one is looking towards this investment yet.
I think you may be on to something here. Power remains our biggest nightmare and there's no reason to believe that the current system will deliver soon.
BusinessRe: Experts Say Nigeria’s Next Billion Dollar Revolution May Come From Healthcare by JuanDeDios: 10:36am On May 14
Chienex24:
It will take long though. Revolution in healthcare is evident already in Nigeria but pathetically very slow due to lack of belief in modern healthcare by the average Nigerian citizen and neglect by the government
Nigerians believe in modern medicine for that which modern medicine is very good at - surgical and emergency cases. Chronic illnesses, autoimmune disease, anything else, I can't guarantee.

CultureRe: Eating At Funerals Is Wrong by JuanDeDios: 2:06pm On May 12
DanOkonkwo:
This is my opinion regarding this matter, going to eat at funerals is not appropriate. A place of funeral is not a place of celebration or feasting but a place of solemnity but unfortunately some persons or most cultures has made it a must that food of assorted kinds must be prepared and people MUST eat.
I think that this part of our culture must be looked into, because I cannot imagine a family that is struggling to make ends meet still mandated to go through hell to provide a big burial where food must be cooked and served, just to bury a loved one.
There are even some that even go about in the community looking for funerals ceremony just to find where to eat and even go with extra.
Well if a man has the money to spend lavishly or call the community to feast in a burial, it's up to him but this should not be a rule.

What do you think?
I also think e get as e be - the feasting and all. But, hey, who am I to make the rules on these things?

in order to avoid ussr being surrounded by nato. Just like they surrounded Iran
Russia had many Nato neigbours before the war began. Now, it has more - because several of its neigbouring countries have joined Nato since the foolish war began. You're the only person in the entire world who doesn't know this and you should be embrassed.

Russia has failed if stopping Nato expansion was its reason for the war.

They had assessments and even if they did not achieve all, they achieved little.

Why you cannot answer the initial question that, if the war ended this minute, who won?
Ukraine won. It's strange that you're even asking that. What was their mission in all this? To defend themselves against Russia's aggression and prevent Putin from taking over their country's government. Of course, they've achieved that if the war ends today.

And Russia's well-known objectives? They have not achieved them - so, again, Ukraine has won.

What weird way?

If the word ended today and status quo maintained, who won?

Putin already captured strategic points he wanted. They only holding on and being defensive to protect those areas, and not seeking more! Ukraine is the one trying to reclaim!

If the war ends today, the map of Ukraine will never remain the same!
So Russia's objectives/war aims in all this was to "capture" some Ukrainian land?
