I am married now though but I can't just get Blessing (that is her name) out of my system no matter how hard I try. The relationship was one of the best that I have ever had - and I had many! She was everything one would ever want in a woman - just name it, she got it. I can't still say what went into me; we were really looking forward to getting married even though we did not make any of such promises to each other but within our hearts we just knew that that was all we wanted. I left the East for the North and everythinhg changed! The last time I spoke with her she told me that she had forgiven me, but will i ever forgive myself? At the slightest provocation by my wife she (Blessing) comes to mind! I love my wife and all that but Blessing was in a class of her own: so simple, so kind, so understanding, so loving, so caring and affectionate! There was this understanding silence that we shared that nothing can ever equal! Just the two of us; sitting or laying down, not touching or doing anything but lost in our seperate worlds but still being together! I am not asking for any kind of help as I know that everything was my fault and all but i just wanted to be heard.  |

LIke I said - we are a funny people! I refused to say foolish for obvious reason(s). We think and feel that everything/anything foriegn is better than ours and that is why what we will ne do here, we do abroad! Recently, my company employed a foreigner and agreed to pay him 300k a month! The same position he now occupies was previously occupied by a Nigerian and his pay was not even up to 70K! My wife is from Delta State. We went for one of her ocassions; I tied wrapper - her native attire - and people were stiring as if i was from the out world! Some young boys from the same place did not tie their wrappers from home! They put it in polythenes to tie at the venue of the ocassion! and afterwards changed to other clothings! But if na jeans or other stuff, they would proudly wear it from their houses. It is high time we all grew up and embress and promote our culture for no one will do that for us! Poster, would you rather toast a girl wearing bikinis, Mini, or what? |

Positivity is okay but we should also be realistic. Nigeria and Nigerians are blessed there is no doubt but where do we go from here? Our movie industry is a sorry sight (I dont even waste my time watching any of them). They want to portray the image that they do not have the wherewithal to project. Their so called comedy is even worst. The poster cited examples of some movies - Good. But are our producers ready to do the research, use the manpower and gadgets to make such movies? Of course they wont even if they can! Why? They are in a hurry to make films daily! Where is that done? Only here of course! Movies is for entertainment and fun - there is no doubt - but our people here think that the consumerS of the movies they dish out are fools and unreasonable people! This is beacuse of the line and themes they employ. And for titles: THEY USE (DUPLICATE) EXISTING WESTERN MOVIE TITLES! What does it take to create a title for a movie? Soud tracks? Sorry sight! it does not even allow you to hear the speeches of the actors/actresses! Aside that, you can even "see" the movies just by standing somewhere and listening to the sound track. Least some "patriotic citizen" might want to crucify some of us who do not see what they see. The truth is that our movie industry should wake up and grow up. THIS IS NOT THE ERA OF ANDY OKONWU AND CO! |

Calling what you have with this girl a “relationship” is a misnomer! That is no relationship but a special f**king arrangement that you failed to handle correctly right from the outset. What manner of a guy are you anyway? A weakling if you ask me. You are not in charge of the situation at all and it is most unfortunate. Be a man!
