Family / Re: I Sell My Properties Whenever I Go Broke, Is It Spirtual? by Juliearth(f): 6:00am On Sep 24, 2023 |
KiNg0G: Judging by the fact that you are able to replace sold goods, it means you are not completely broke and you have a cash flow system, albeit not steady. This is not spiritual, but you lack financial discipline. How much do you earn monthly? What percentage do you put aside for recurrent and capital (future projects) expenditure? You don't need to answer these here. Just do the math and figure that out. When you are "rich", you need two categories of savings. One is for your daily bread and the other for future projects. The latter should be fixed and untouched. You should have a scale or preference please. That entails creating a list of needs and numbering them based on your priority. That would help you spend in perspective. Deep down, you know those expenses you incure on a regular that arent necessary. Please do away with them. Try to have a contingency funds you can fall back to when you find yourself being broke. Depending on your strength, you can put 1k daily in savings box at home. All the best! 9 Likes 2 Shares |

thesilentman: Ever heard of post-partum depression? Clearly, she wasn't like this before bearing a child, shouldn't that be an indication that it is just a phase. Your wife needs more tender loving care now morethan ever... A certain banker is presently cooling off in one of the prison cells in Minna. He allegedly went to drink his sorry ass away in a bar, had more bottles than he can handle and committed manslaughter afterwards. Good luck! 1 Like |

Racoon: God bless you for this, Racoon. You just Brought back childhood memories. I can't forget so easily some of the church choreography dubbed from his albums, song ministrations and so on. Had to download some of these songs to relive the memory. Amongst others, my fave is thus: I saw you there at the bank of the river... Telling the people about love (oh oh)... When you looked at my face, I was gripped with a fever, seeing the light in your eyes.... Wish we could go back to that era of unadulterated Gospel. It irks my heart that some international Gospel artistes have been associated with demonology. |

Kobojunkiee: Maybe you are right. As a matter of fact, I can't even marry someone who is not as well read as I am. He has to be equally or more read than I am.... at least a PhD. However, you lack understanding! Language was clearly not a barrier for op. Clearly, he knew all these and chose her. And my advise was based on this premise. |

Ladygee12: As much as western education is key, we must not underplay the fact the informal education is sufficient. If your woman can sustain a business. , that shows that she is not a dullard. The only problem I see here is communication. I think you should focus on helping her attain fluency in English. That could take a while, but it is totally attainable. Get her a tutor, advise her television engagement to programes aired in English and a change of environment would also help. |

I just hope they don't overwork you and underpay you. You should have asked further if you would teach each of these subjects at all levels ( jss1 to ss3) or just a level. Either way, I wish you the best! |

naturalwaves: Their non availability should not deter him from delivering his lessons as though these items have been provided. Remember that micro teaching is nothing but a miniature classroom simulation. Its not a real classroom setup, so the resources used can also be unreal. But then again, he can go ahead and play safe with a topic that requires no physical resources. The disadvantage of this method is that he would have no edge over the others. |

naturalwaves: I do not expect the school to avail him these items. Its left for op to creatively simulate a standard class for his lessons, creating an assumption that these items are there. Peradventure, the school avails him these items, I do not expect him to use up to a minute to set up. What this approach would showcase is his versatility as a teacher, his ability to carry his students along and ability to adopt an activity-based teaching approach, which is the paradigm that most schools adopt or are looking to adopt in teaching. |

dboY1123: You need to understand that the aim of micro teaching for an interview is not for you to prove your knowledge of a subject matter solely, but to show your proficiency in teaching. I would advise that you choose just one of these topics and perfect the art of teaching it. You should possibly work out some instructional materials for your students. For instance if your take is on acid, base and salt, you should consider making it a practical class. Set up your class with samples of acid base and salt and of course your litmus paper. Briefly discuss what acids and base are by their reaction on a litmus paper, then go ahead and ask your students to test the specimens before them with a litmus paper. Let them tell you their observation and conclusion based on the change on the litmus paper.... you should basically make your class interactive and practical- based. Do not forget to clearly state your objectives before the actual teaching begins. For instance: At the end of class today, I expect you to know the properties of acids, base and salt and their reaction on a litmus paper. Note that there is a paradigm shift in teaching today. You don't tell your students for them to know. You show them what you want to tell them for them to know. I hope this helps. 16 Likes |
