I know I sound crazy but that's the only possible explanation. At night, I hear footsteps in the corridor and living room. Once, while I was on a Zoom call, someone knocked on my bedroom door. I immediately exited the call out of fear . There was no one else in the house.

First of all, sorry for the loss of your girlfriend. It's obvious the bond between you two was strong, hence these occurrences. It's possible she has not come to terms with her current reality. Her soul is still bound to earth and would remain so until after 40 to 60 days. Whenever you notice such strange occurrences, you may want to nicely tell her that she is no more and needs to rest.
There seems to be a tie between you two. Thus, you can bring a man of God to pray over your house, break that tie and also talk to her spirit.
If any of her properties are in your house, please take them back to hers or dispose them. Also dispose any item that she is fond of.

He has come to borrow money from me more than three times promising to pay back on so so and so day but never returns it and infact he never talks about the money again and i also kept quiet.
