1. What do you mean by fighting the father-in-law? Why not simply do what most would do which is to continue to ignore him and his rants? undecided
2. Ah, I see! Fear is the reason behind what you pretend is accepted tradition. undecided

Kobojunkie:
So, if your father-in-law, who was absent from the raising of your wife, comes at you angrily, you would go to him, to beg with money and gifts in tow, why? undecided
Its unnecessary headache fighting the father inlaw. Making peace with him is better.
The father maybe chasing them with juju.

Why? Just because he was a sperm donor and confers on him rights over the girl? undecided
That is their way of life.

Even as yoruba if the father of the wife is angry like that the new husband would be adviced to make peace with her father.
The husband should go there with some of his family elders and some little money as gift.

Can you tell us your definition of a comfortable life here in Nigeria.

And your estimation of how many people are living it?
Anybody that doing job that is progressively and steadily expanding and rewarding to the extent you have one or more cars, you have you little house you built, you can pay your bills easily, then you are comfortable.
You can do bore hole in your house to get water and install solar panels to get constant electricity.

Dont sell your business and properties to go abroad.

But if you are sapa guy, and you are not lazy ass, abroad might be option for you.
But in nigeria you can also make it like your cousin or neighbours that are doing well. Just be more hardworking.

Politics › Re: We Nigeria Christians Will Vote Bola Ahmed Tinubu Massively by juman(m): 9:23am On Dec 28, 2022
Because of avoidable crisis pdp has been battered and turn to shred, hence atiku cannot win.
Obi is underdog candidate.

Tinubu will win the election.
Tinubu is pushed forward as candidate by his godfathers, the northern governors.
Irony of life! A godfather became godson.

All power belong to God.
Politics › Re: We Nigeria Christians Will Vote Bola Ahmed Tinubu Massively by juman(m): 9:09am On Dec 28, 2022
No candidate would get massive votes from christians or muslims.

Core northern christians are traditionally pdp, some few of them would vote obi as well.
North central christians would vote according to their party. Mostly apc and pdp.

South west not based on religion.

South east and south south votes go in line with their political leaders choice and some according to their conscience.
Politics › Re: Tinubu, Wike’s Camps Meet To Finalise Deal On 2023 by juman(m): 8:56am On Dec 28, 2022
Despite those governors love to support obi, its like pouring water into basket.
Their support for him cannot change the direction of the outcome of election much.

Because tinubu and atiku will get the lion votes.

They would rather support atiku or tinubu because politicians desire reward for their action.
Politics › Re: Tinubu, Wike’s Camps Meet To Finalise Deal On 2023 by juman(m): 8:48am On Dec 28, 2022
Why meeting abroad?
Why?

Why not in one city or town in nigeria?

IbeOkehie:
Most people in Nigeria...over 97%... are poor.

A person who is NOT poor has access to clean piped water, reliable electricity and other energy sources like PETROL, good roads, and housing that should include a flush toilet and refrigerator and clean means of food preparation....both of which require reliable and affordable water AND energy.

Also should own a car or have access to safe, clean, affordable means of transportation. That is the basic standard of living for a family ABOVE poverty.

Then there's healthcare and education.

The vast majority of Nigerians are in poverty. I hope a time will come when the people develop a good consensus to do the right things that will make Nigeria a better place to live. That is the hope and it's all we have for now.
A person that his or her business is doing well in nigeria tick almost all you listed.
Many people with little education are doing well as market men and women.

Dont sell your properties to go abroad, you will surely regret it.
Where are you going to start when you reach abroad?
Where?

Jobless people, are those going abroad good for.
They can start from anywhere.

Going abroad, its better for poor people, the struggling guys.

If you are doing very well in nigeria, dont throw it away.
You live better life than those in abroad.

The money they are taken abroad with them would finish after some months through paying bills.

I feel like crying.
They wasted her soul.

I feel like kill some police.
Why are they brutal like this.

It seems the police officers tried to stop her and she refused to stop.
Probably they have been getting some issues of non stop from drivers, so their boss gave them order to shoot some.
Third world is hell fire.
Bad leaders.
