livebyday:u know u can't really fool everyone. those bullets we saw were blank bullets which can only injure from close range. maybe you should ask your military friend how well you folks have been deceiving the masses.. |
bolaayenimo:I think you have a point here. as much as I condemn any form of looting and destruction, I think the oba of lagos got what he deserves. no community would allow their king to be disgraced like that, especially a top king. go try am for kano make body sweet you.. |
there's this mob mentality that affects an individual to do terrible things in the midst of crowd. I've witnessed this once, sometimes last year in giri when some group of boys were trying to invade a kings palace simply because a babalawo gave them a speculation insinuating a man as a ritualist. they were so determined to kill that man despite the fact that there was no evidence. believe me even sane people were determined to kill that man that day. it took the shooting of two protesters in the knee by military men to calm the whole thing.. |
SoBright101:e dey pain you say people dey speak truth. ur eye go open soonest. continue with falsehood.. |
unscripted:did he need to be paid to speak the truth? bros your matter weak me oo.. so many report about lekki shootings came out as false but you lots want us to believe lies, must you politicize everything. guy see me na barrack boy and you know where I started to doubt you guys, when people carried bullet and posted on twitter claiming it was the bullet used when in reality those bullet were blank bullets that can only injure from close range. you can fool the masses with pictures but not everyone.. keep the protest legit.. |
Nigga let it continue.. people are online cheering the act not thinking of the consequences of those act. at this junction I pray it blows into full anarchy let's see if they'll be safe again to type rubbish online.. expect more burning of places today.. |
SLAP44:take it or leave it, police are useful in n battling criminals even though they are not that effective in doing so. atleast an innocent person has somewhere to run to when victimized . |
them dey destroy e dey sweet some lazy online fellas who couldn't even protest when the protest was peacefull, them just dey online dey cheer the thugs. tommorow when those thugs begin use police weapon when dem steal dey rob una, shebi na the same police when una burn their station still kill una go meet for help. continue the riot in the name of protest and all anti govt should also enjoy the ride.. |
SoBright101:yea from abuja and reside in abuja. I'm in support of the protest but man right now if we don't back out and restrategize we would be classified as hoodlums as well. |
Thugs yes of course Thugs and not we the alleged masses. these guys would be bribed by politicians to disrupt protesters, they would loot down complexes, their actions would render some people homeless hence giving them more friends to pally with in the street. police station would be burnt and police would lack manpower then they can go to communities and continue their robbery in peace then the police would be too busy to help the masses. people would loose their jobs as many businesses would cripple by the same paid thugs, when them finish with the rich including the innocent rich, they'll move to the middle class and you know why?? they need more people to join them in the street and also need to sustain their new source of income (paid thugs and free looting in the name of protest). Nigeria youths wake up from your slumber ( protest has been hijacked already) Amnesty your all banking on would do nothing to the govt, even before the lekki shootings, police stations and prisons has been set loose and protesters cheered the act knowing it's bad.. I hope you all saw CNN report. those who make judgement listen from both sides. think wisely and have a nice day ahead..
|
which kind stupid question be this from OP. people are forced to react when you continually persist to become nuisance in the society. you should have asked why shia muslims were killed in kaduna after the military begged them to leave the road. we both know that what is going on in lagos if protesters should grab hold of any security agencies, na straight death. forget all this amnesty when una dey yell for. they ain't stupid either, you killed policemen in the name of protest and even though we know thugs did the deed, protesters should have distance from it and not cheer the act.. |
I'm a full blown barrack boy and i know the activities of soldiers when I see one. yes it's true those guys were not having their unit badge or core badge on but from the way they were organised I have no doubt they were soldiers. also it might not be an executive order but it's definitely the doings of some odd men. the only thing the military can do now to save it's face is to find out who ordered the the shooting and also sanction every soldier involved cos no legal order would have you remove your unit badge if the activities were very legal. they had the option to disobey that order. believe me I was sad and disappointed about that lekki massacre. as much as I want the protest to die down, that lekki massacre was a no no to us all. the protesters there were very much peacefull. rip to those who lost their lives in the process.. |
Vaughanlanrewaj:I'm a barrack boy and I know what the armies are capable of doing, believe me those guys weren't wearing the NA badge but something else however their level of organization and composure shows they are really soldiers who for sure went to do an odd job. I'm certain it's not an executive order, but for sure they are soldiers, real soldiers.. |
Matrimonous:wei done.. No protest has been this intense in the Nigeria democratic era. Even fuel subsidy under gej wasn't half intense as this.. |
Frankice:but we all saw how overjoyed protesters were by the jail break. they indirectly supported the act, it's a reason why they said the protest should end so hoodlums won't take advantage. |
OdenKelechi:guess your happy when life doesn't go as planned for you right? u blame someone or probably blame the govt or something, maybe you fail to admit it's as a result of your fathers sin. think again.. |
SweetSoup:maybe the innocent child was killed because a curse was laid on his grandfather that keeps affecting his grandchildren. the cycle continues and in the end the innocent suffers. plss let he who sins carry the cross. |
azmanaty02:her mother did the did not her. no innocent child deserves to suffer the sins of their parents. try putting yourself in others shoes for once.. |
QueeenKKfire:hope you know your father has his own sins you wouldn't want to be judged with. |
she has her own life to live outside her mother's wrong doing..
make una go find the mama handle.. |
tillaman:u sounded reasonable but your common sense should have told you it's an old video.. |
iphone users ain't keeping up a good debate on this thread. well the only iphone I've used is iphone5 and I wasn't impressed with the service but man the camera was sha outstanding. |
moralistic:your on a lonngg thing. that salary APC used to advertise in 2019 election has not been paid(fact). except the new minimum wage of almost 5k addition. nothing else. |
beauty with brains.. |
kponkedenge:u might be right oo but trust me with the kind of salary police receive it'll be difficult for a normal mind not to compromise.. may God help us all.. |
kponkedenge:I don't need to fact check to know it's false. sars don't do special recruitment. it's an extended arm of police.. |
ilegendd I take god name beg you, no deactivate your account, just leave it as it is. your one of my references on this forum and you deactivating the account would give me difficulty getting some of your post I might be looking for.. till today I dey stalk on mentions of billyonaire one of our old members who left us. that guy is just like you in terms of wisdom(different field though) but the difference was that the nigga was giving it out all for free while you dey give us half make we hustle the rest. well my guy I still appreciate oo but no deactivate the account I take god name beg you. during that lock down I swear your profile been dey my chrome bookmark sef. me na your fan oo, no leave like my old friend oo just leave the account like that. your partner or second account iclef has left already no take similar path oo.. |
Believe me when I say the govt are the main reason why the police force has refused to get better. imagine the salary of a constable in the police force earning less than 50k(42 to 49k) as monthly salary with no single allowance or even special duty allowance except those attached to JTF. now compare this to the military where a private soldier earns 50k as monthly salary, 20k as monguno allowance, abuja soldiers receive extra 20k as villa allowance while other state soldiers who go for special duty receive about 20k as special duty allowance.. in total a private recruit in the army earns about 90k monthly while an honest police man receives less than 50k monthly. doesn't speak well if I may ask. The police force itself handles case of bribery with light hand compare to the military, believe me today even if you carry video of a police man collecting bribe to the police headquarters, very little or nothing would be done and the reason is simple, even their disciplinary comitee are guilty of same crime, they too dey collect bribe down to 90% of their DPO and they collect it obviously. now try same action with a soldier man by taking video of him collecting bribe to army headquarters, believe me if the soldier guy know say u wan report am to HQ, e go beg you die because they won't only dismiss them but put them underground for a long time. the govt itself has its own role to play in helping the police force cos whether we like it or not, armed robbers would be happy that sars have been banned l. despite their atrocities, them still dey try when in comes to fighting armed robbers even though a great number of them has compromised which their salary might be the exact reason considering the temptations in the job.. |
with fans watching, u can't afford to give up even when hope is lost but without them trust me it'll be extra difficult to rebuild a lost confidence and discipline.. |
omenka:it's an offence in the penal code. the act took place in abuja(north) and one of the parties involved is from the north.. the north uses penal code while south uses criminal code. if the offence happened in the south, there's no case in court.. |
