Occupation written on your birth certificate is not important. No one will check that. You are not expected to be in same profession forever na.

This is not quite correct!
We've had someone on this thread who was asked by CIC why occupation she claimed work experience in and that stated on her marriage certificate is different. Look through the thread for her story, I do not remember her moniker.

@Mirian91,
Please ensure you do not make any changes on your marriage certificate as it will get invalidated.
Rather submit your application with your marriage certificate and hope for the best. In reality, most people in the same boat did not have any issues with VO as they tend to overlook this; however, might this kind of case come up with your application just explain that you were an "Administrative Analyst"

Now I understand why oldies have taken the back seat.

Looks like the group is gradually becoming a joke; I really do hope it does not end up becoming one.

I mean how would one post a question like " Creating an EE profile and writing IELTS, which comes first?" Did the person not look though anything on this thread at all?

People have been encouraged from beginning of this thread to read through from page 1 before any questions, that way you would have gotten your answers, but I see that many persons are not willing to do so. Of course this will make people, especially oldies to not bother answering questions as they are not obligated to do so, and I can already see wrong answers being posted for some questions.

Please let's try to refer newbies to page 1 to read up. Later contents on this thread is already being watered down. Let's try to clean up this thread and make it what it used to be.

And on a lighter note, for those actually spoon feeding newbies, be ready to answer questions like "Which should come first, food or water?"

Ndo nu o!

Good evening everyone
Congrats to everyone that got ITA today
Please how long does it take for your profile to be changed after getting a provincial nomination
Do you have to change your profile yourself or contact them
A friend got a nomination last week from New Brunswick but CRS hasn't changed till now
Please need a reply
Thanks

In your friend's EE profile?
He/she would receive an email from CIC after provincial nomination. Your friend is expected to login and "Accept" nomination from the nominating province. Once this is done, your friend's CRS will change to reflect an addition of 600.

If he/she is yet to receive an email in EE profile on nomination after a week then your friend needs to notify the nominating province about this development.

Congrats for your ITA. But na wah o. Much people aren’t not congratulating them or liking the comments of those that got ITA today. cheesy. E clear say men are not smiling. grin. Make una nor worry. There will soon be smile on this thread because ‘weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning.’

It's understandable.
I have checked, so far I only see 2 persons announced ITA. Where will the excitement come from when the hope of many have been dashed in this particular draw? The scores are damn too high!

I can only encourage everyone hoping for an ITA within this year to keep hope alive. I have learnt in this life that there's nothing impossible with God, as long as you do your part the best you can.

In my own case, being close to 40 years, having a masters degree, maxing IELTS with only reading being deficient (7), and with original CRS before nomination at 435, there's no way I would have clinched a Federal ITA within the next one year given the current CRS trend, but you see, I kept hope alive and God came through for me.

What I'm trying to say is this, start early in this journey, try to max out IELTS, get a masters or 2 or more degrees, get minimum 3 years of work experience (if you have less than this please add your NYSC), leave the rest to God and stay positive. A little shift of change with one of the PNPs could just do the trick!

Congratulations to you.

I beg when did you apply to Ontario?
The whole thing took how long?

I received NOI on 12th July, and applied on 19th August.

Whole application process took 65 days from submission.

PS: Ontario picks directly from EE pool.

When you apply proper then I can argue this with you or when you provide someone with 6+ job experience that has gained more point than someone with 3 years.

That same link you pasted shows that 18-35 years applicants have the same point for age. But that’s not what is applicable.

Please get more information and stop arguing blindly.

Am done with this argument.

He is not arguing blindly. Don't be blinded by rage that you do not see any sense in the link he posted.

There are both Eligibility factors to consider (of which you MUST get at least 67 out of 100) and CRS score which is determined by IRCC in biweekly draws.

You just might be shocked to see that someone with a CRS score of 415 cannot create an EE profile because he is ineligible (does not meet up with minimum score for eligibility), whereas someone with a CRS score of 350 is able to create an EE profile because he is eligible (meets minimum score of 67 under eligibility factors)

Try to read up more for better understanding of this process.

Hello house. This is quite urgent. Please does anyone have a contact in unilag exam and record unit. WES sent them notification since 4th of July and today is 30th of September yet nothing has been done. I don follow up taya. Today there is no internet, tomorrow the person is on leave, it's from one excuse to another. I started this WES process since April and Unilag has just kept me at a stand still.

That's too long.
PM me. I could refer you.

Lol, very funny indeed. I know about all these processes you listed.
I've never seen any of your messages until few minutes ago. Had to refresh over and over and over. Seems a lot of my incoming msgs were hanging, understandably so too. I had opted for Glo network recently after running out of Airtel data -which I renewed this morning. I'm sorry about d mix up. 4 msgs just came in from u. Aren't all these enough for someone to just get tired of this country? Nothing seems to be working. You pay for a service and you can't get value for it and the authorities have left us all vunerable. I would have missed it if your message had to do with a deadline.
I even read today that a Fed University couldn't respond to a verification mail due to power outage for 2weeks.Someone corroborated by sharing his experience. An ordinary e-mail! Unfortunately too, that school happens to be my alma mãter! ***Covers eyes in shame***

All hail UNIBEND!!! E no dey tire to bend people.
Imagine using close to 2 years to get transcript I applied for. I was told that those that graduated prior to 2005 from Computer Science department can not get their transcript because the department was burnt down with everything in it. People like me that left the school in 2003 just open our mouths and were watching part one of film show.

Las las, 1st year of my transcript was found, and the 2nd year took almost another one year to be found (in someone's desktop computer) in science faculty. That one na part 2 film show.

Talk about unseriousness, naija carry first!
Mcheww!
