Please Help
I have 16 x 100 watt panels, 8 x 200Ah @10hrs Luminous batteries, 1 piece 5 Kva Genus Sure Sine Wave Inverter, 4 charge controllers. Things are fine when there is sun. But when the sun goes down the inverter starts to beep. What could be the problem?

U ar very correct on d CC limitin my amps but I also kno dat i cant get d whole 960w due to losses. Av achieved 766w on peak power. I wil plan to increase d CC to like 45 or 60amps. Also I wil get mountin rails to lift d panels up a bit from d roof.

his cc is advance pwm not mppt. I may be wrong but any mppt with the 80v Max is not mppt and will Not do the work of mppt. there are Chinese mppt with 150v Max input.

your system is 48v? I was thinking is 24v...

my batteries are emerson (12v 200ah) x4 , their float voltage is 13.6v/units. The charge controller is wellsee, (40amps 40v). in the manual full charge cut 54.8v, low voltage cut 42 v. i will attach a pix .thnx again

now i see the reason why you get 24amps max. Please can you upload the picture of your cc and how did you connect the panels?

D installation was done like 5months ago wit 1.4kva sukam, just for chargin in d afternoon and for all my electronics bulbs at nitte, I added d 3.5kva recently for my fridge and to pump water in d afternoon, I was able to ard 3.1kw on a bright day, wit max of 24amps

this is a complete waste. 24amps from 960w panels? anything less than 35amps from that panel is not acceptable. i use Chinese panel and is rated 130w/7.1amps but i get 6.5amps from it. i see a wrong installation but there is a room for correction, your panels are too close to the zink. i have one question for you, since your panels are static, by the time sun changes position what will happen?

the tv,bulbs and fans are the total wattage combined. my single bulb is 20w. a single plasma tv is 110w.

I can't believe people still go to market and by 290 watts plasma or LCD TVs and 120w energy saving bulbs. If I were u, I will change my TVs, (fans) and the bulbs to led. 80-100w should be OK No matter the size. I have seen 55" 80w full-hd TV. you don't need 120w bulbs on inverter, 15w led bulb should be ok. stop wasting resources. everybody is going green some people are going red. my experience with two blade industrial fan is not good therefore I will encourage it.
@ samnaija: one of your fan's almost exceeded all the load in my house, Please do something to the load

Congrat and welcome to real world of renewable energy where you can make impossible possible. I have been enjoying 24/7 power supply for almost a year and still counting. I am no longer at the mercy of noisy generators which I cannot even run for 24hr without major break-down afterwards. If public power supply manage to come-by, good. If they don't remember to supply my area, I don't give a hoot.

try to understand my post. I mean to turn on an inverter for one month and counting. this simply means someone is always in the house. I have gone 3 months with management but not like this. I have been using inverter for the past 7years but have not done 1 week stretch without draining my batteries but this time I have done 1 month stretch without draining my batteries although I go as low as 24.5v on 24v system. @ RipVanWink sorry to disappoint you but that is the truth. remember I said close to 3khw that means I get over 2khw. presently I use ep solar cc, the option of Watts was not included on this model. I will go back to ipanda esmart where u see every activity on a computer screen and post it

I think you need to reposition your panel because 30a on that huge installation is so little

@ ilenaira do you really need generator? with my 390w I get close to 3kwh on a good day. why don't you add more batteries. the fuel I bought N65 in 2011 is still in my generator. I hate generator

strong receivers or HD receivers are up to 1080p!some receivers has high picture resolution, but more expensive like hybrid/spark receivers!

i have used strong, their picture quality is low. I want to try another product that has good picture quality ( real 1080p). can you recommend any one that is not more than 15k? Thanks

The inverter was simply running t between 85% to 100% of it's rated capacity.

remember, conversion efficiency on 12v with heavy load will not be the same with 48v. 85% load on a 12v system will stress the component (make them very hot) especially the transformer, therefore this is overload.

It was the inverter itself that got burnt not any external component

at 11v you don't expect the inverter to produce 4kw

why would somebody power halogen bulb with inverter? where there are 50w led bulb that is brighter that 1000w halogen bulb

My oga i think the installer used a wrong wire. the wires are too tiny i think...
