vankelvin: Do watch bro
Metro TV has been sold to Zoomlion so they now have a new management, new premises with the State of the Art studio's, everything.
Their graphics have changed... You need to see their news rooms etc.
As for Paul Adom Otchere, just manage it. Know that he is a stomach journalist, an NPP member, and nothing can change that. I will stick with Citi TV, Joy, GHOne and TV3 |

vankelvin: Paul Adom Otchere made a whole documentary on it on Metro TV. He said some people in East Legon are pushing hard for a City Charter so they can contribute monthly to develop that enclave.
Per the current laws of AMA individuals cannot construct roads, build major gutters, expand electricity supply etc. It's only the Assembly or Government that can do all these major projects.. If they get the charter it means the people of East Legon will be responsible for all their developmental needs and there will be a quota they will contribute to AMA coffers as well unfortunately I don't watch Metro Tv because of their terrible graphics and Paul Adom Otchere |

Are you aware some people are pushing for a *City Charter* for East Legon? They want A.M.A to make East Legon a separate city to fastruck development in that enclave . |

kikuyu1: Its ACTUALLY untarmacked. Strange, for such a rich place. It's true what you said: Gh simply DOESN'T pass the visual test. All the cherry picked pix and vids just don't reveal the middle-class country they PRETEND to be. There is nothing like visual test... It is either you have or you don't (the realities of people lives) like I said, it is someone 30 acres fenced private property that is yet to be developed.. |

obaaderemi: False.
Korea was not annexed by Japan until 1910. Look, man. Without Japan's short lived empire, the country would still have prospered. It's about structure. The country was structured to progress after the Meiji Restoration happened.
Putting Japan's progress on colonialism, especially by Africans, is running away from facts. Spain had an empire that stretched up to South America, the richest parts, yet by 1960s Spain was one of the poorest countries in Europe. Compare Spain with Germany. German colonies were almost useless yet Germany prospered. are you actually reading what I wrote ? Before Japan even annexed Korea, it had been looting their country for a century already... Japan understood the principle of just owning slaves and making them work to provide resources for it ever growing industries and it did just that until it decided to go the imperial way |

rvp2018: I know you want to feel important as an African.
International trade is not important - even if you blockaded these countries - there is a lot of DOMESTIC trade and economy that can propel a country.
Colonialism was a drain - nearly all those railways never could pay for itself. All the steels and irons had to be ship in.
And the extracted raw materials not much of it made to mother countries....there was very little going on in africa.
It's not like those countries are baren of raw materials.
When German grew under Hilter - it was pariah state - but Germans industrial machine - was able to produce goods for germans - a car for everyone - a bicyle - a road - a house - all these kept machines busy and economy growing - only in the last stage after exhausting your domestic economy - do you actually need international expansion you absolutely know nothing |

obaaderemi: False. Japan did not have a colony outside its land until 1894. And by 1945 it was all gone. Meanwhile, Japan's real wealth started with the Meiji Restoration in 1860s. Japan was an imperial nation at the time and it didn't need to have colony because all South East Asia nations today were like no man's land with no fix boundaries... In the 1800s Japan was already carting resources from the Korea's, China and other island nations |
