I have always been for GEJ until recently. If Nigeria must change, new set of hands are needed. Real Capable hands that will press the right buttons and play the political game in a more pro-developmental manner. We need people that feel what the youths of Nigeria feel. GEJ is a good man, but unfortunately he is in PDP. That is a party that has ruled Nigeria for 12 years without much change. We cannot vote for PDP, with all their evil men, because of GEJ alone. It is clear that they have been able to manipulate the president. The fact that GEJ did not wear shoes to school and trekked to school is not enough to cover the inefficiencies of PDP. If he is left to govern, he will continue to patronize all the IBBs, Bode Georges, Obasanjos and other evil men of this world. We need Change. To get change, PDP must be voted out. Starting from my state, Ohakim (PDP) needs to be booted out of Imo state governorship position! APGA (Rochas Okorocha) is the way forward. T. Orji needs to be dug out of Abia state. GEJ (PDP) needs to be sacrificed for the sake of change and progress. If these are not done, we will continue to wallow in regret and disgrace. |
PDP lost me by not attending the NN24 Vice-presidential debate. Buhari-Bakare is my choice. PDP needs to come out and publicly show why I should vote for them. |
They should know any attack on lagos is an attack on yoruba.so they better don't start a war they wont be able to finish.someone should better get this to the senior militant in Abuja, bunch of basttards.
First of all, an attack on Lagos is not an attack on Yoruba. It is an attack on a Nigerian western state. Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas and even Niger-deltans are at risk in such an attack. No offense. I think nothing will happen if they attack Lagos and Abuja. Instead of threatening fire and brimstone, Lagosians should ensure their safety and pray hard for God to protect innocent lives. As for retaliation, who and where will you bomb in return? Is it Bayelsa? Rivers? Delta? Who will lose more if such attacks start? |

Nah. Let them continue. Seun will watch his sweat crumble like a pack of cards. Looks more like a calculated plan against him by another site owner. LOL! |
jason123: I have never been tribal. I only respond to people that insult Igbos, and even while doing that, I don't insult their tribes. I face the individuals, and not their tribes. I advocate for the breakup of Nigeria for the sake of progress. I also wish for Igbos to have Biafra. That does not mean being tribalistic. When someone wakes up to attack other tribes for any reason, then that is tribalism. I don't do that, no matter what. |
@effed up stranger 3: You are a stinking disease. Your immaturity gives a clear picture of how little your thinking ability is. You are indeed a kid. I just got a call from a Yoruba friend. He was complaining bitterly about how bad things are in Oyo state. He complained about how he sees hunger and hopelessness around him (In the Yorubaland that you call heaven). Here you are with your borrowed computer, trying to become the "Moremi" of Nairaland. May God help you because the way you are going you may soon die of envy. Pray hard cos your death is near. Keep deceiving yourself while your people suffer. Better ko Binta Ni. Ode. |
Bode George is a Yoruba man. He stole billions and was jailed for it. IBB is a hausa man. He is a renowned thief from the North. He is famous for siphoning the $12 billion oil windfall. Orji Uzor Kalu is an Igbo man. He is known to have robbed Abia to it's knees, and even ensured that another thief called T. Orji took over from him. Ibori is from the South-South. He is a renowned international thief, and is in jail for it. Lucky Igbinedion is from Mid-west. He is a thief, whose assets have just being seized for his fraudulent activities. Lagos State got bigslums. Anambra state got big slums. Rivers state got big slums. Kano state got big slums. Crime rate is high all over Nigeria. Ritual murder is popular all over Nigeria. Unemployment is high all over Nigeria. Can someone please tell me how an ethnic group in Nigeria is better than the others? |
It is very disheartening to see some Nigerians on Nairaland fighting to show how superior their ethnic group is, when in the real sense, Nigerian ethnic groups as a whole go through the same predicaments brought about by years of poor leadership and neglect. Why don't you channel your effort towards ensuring progress? If you don't care about other ethnic groups, then work towards helping your own ethnic group. While you are arguing; Many members of your ethnic group go to bed without food. Many youths in your ethnic group are being recruited into criminal gangs because they have no jobs and are hopeless. Many youths in your ethnic group are becoming love-peddlers out of frustration. Children in your ethnic group are chased out of school because their parents cannot afford their school fees. Members of your ethnic group die because the cannot afford hospitals bills. Some die because the hospitals are ill equipped. Few Politicians in your ethnic group are stealing all the money meant for your ethnic group, and deceive you by making you to fight other ethnic groups. The members of your ethnic group die unnecessarily out of avoidable circumstances like road accidents, Electrocution etc. The list is endless. Why don't you devote your time towards uplifting your ethnic group by contributing your little part towards your people's progress instead of arguing endlessly on Nairaland to deceive people that your ethnic group is better than others? You can indulge in social activities like, environmental sanitation, Pay school fees for kids from poor homes, Create sensitization for a better leadership in your ethnic group, Donate food stuffs to poor families, Renovate homes for poor families, sue corrupt politicians etc. That way, you can build a better life and progress for your ethnic group than trying to create an imaginary prestige for yourself by deceiving yourself that your ethnic group is better than others. The rate of poverty in Nigeria is 70%. This figure consist of every Nigerian ethnic group. This is the same with the rate of corruption. Every ethnic group have corrupt individuals. So quit wasting your time, and contribute to the progress of your ethnic group in a more meaningful way. |
@Effed up stranger 3; How many of your so called Yoruebo Akata Rappers have ever visited Yorueboland. Chiddybang made a song about his Igbo village, and actually visited his village. How many of your Akata Yoruebo Rappers have ever visited their villages? See it here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSD0komRazo |
fstranger3:Look at this Yoruebo Illiterate claiming big brother. LOL! Anumanu Ofia! Keep praising Yoruebo "Oyibo" Musicians and die hungry. Lol! The name "Yoruba" is most likely an adaptation of 'Yo ru ebo', meaning "will venerate (make offerings to the) Orisha". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Yoruba_people |
@Fstranger3, going by your use of "Ebo" and "Ibo" to refer to Igbos, one can as well use "Yo oru ebo" or "Yoruebo" to refer to your ethnicity, afterall that is the historical source of the name of your ethnic group. |
Effed up-stranger3, go and get a life. Your envy for Igbos is eating you up. What else can warrant your devotion to Igbo issues. Always seeking for ways to prove that Yorubas are better than Igbos. Funny enough, it is those that are better that makes the less noise. Ode. |
Can't you stay a day without being pinched to look into Igbo affairs? Ok, Yorubas are rapping. Good and so what? What is the business of Igbos if Yorubas rap more? fstranger3, you need some help. believe me, one day you will run insane and the only thing you'll be muttering will be,"I can't stop being envious of Igbos". Anyway, just to show you how shallow your research is, check out a certain boy called Chiddy bang. There are many more Igbos like him, if you need. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McRgkE_vgjU&feature=player_embedded |
OAM4J: OIC! ![]() I still believe that the person using Becomerichn is only trying to be funny and pretend not-so-smart. One day hurricane go blow, fowl nyash go yakata. |
Jarus: It was Jarus that made this comment. Jarus=Becomerichn. Somebody correct me if I am making a mistake. |
Well, I don't detest Arthur Nzeribe because of his part in MKO's lost election. I just don't like his anti-developmental attitude, and god-like disposition in the midst of enormous poverty of the people that he has influence over. MKO was not a saint too. Infact MKO is equally anti-developmental. If he was developmental, GSM would have been an old trend before OBJ came into power in 1999. That he was deprived of being the president does not make him developmental. I am not happy about Nzeribe being sick. I am only saying that people should learn how to touch their people's lives in a positive way, especially when they have the influence to do so. Nzeribe was simply bloody and surrounded himself with marauders that played politics in very ritualistic and malicious manner, without ensuring a better and livable society. The man made money by supplying weapons against his own people. He tied up politicians just as Orji Uzor Kalu did to T. Orji, to ensure that money flowed to him at the cost of development. I am quite close to him. So, I can only say the truth against him, since it was never in his favor. |
Why don't we view this without any intention of patronizing any party or tribal affiliation. Let us reason with our brains please. THIS IMPOSITION IS SIMPLY NOT WHAT NIGERIANS NEED AT THIS MOMENT. NIGERIANS NEED TO BE SALVAGED. HABA! IF PDP IS NOT GOING TO PROVIDE IT, ACN SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO SO. THIS FACT ABOUT TINUBU IS DEFINITELY NOT A GOOD SIGN. THIS WILL AMOUNT TO REPLACING AKAMU WITH CUSTARD. FOR EXAMPLE, WHAT ASSURANCE DO WE HAVE THAT TINUBU WILL NOT AXE RIBADU OR FASHOLA FOR HIMSELF AND FAMILY MEMBERS IF HE GAINS THE REQUIRED INFLUENCE? |
