kitty_sunshine: I got my trv today after waiting for four hours. If you have fulfilled all requirements and on the waiting list pls storm. The VO said my documents would have been dispatched if I had included another return courier envelope. I know say all na format, she was merely trying to justify their lack of feedback. In all I give glory to God. He made it happen.

@ kitty_sunshine. Its true what u said o.I mailed the person in charge of LLM applications at Dalhousie Uni and I got answers. I told him why proof of english should be waved for me,that all my education has been in english. He said I don't need proof once my educatn was in english. He also told me that he has personally received my application and that it will be reviewed soon. Thanks a lot kitty!

kclexa: The change is not without it's risk and financial setback. Remember you stand to loss a percentage of your tuition deposit if not all, depending on the terms of the school. If you decide to enter Canada with the visa obtained using school A LoA. You must withdraw before term start else you will loss all your tuition deposit.

You can't change the school on the same visa application. You would have to withdraw and reapply with the new school's LOA.

Hello House! Pls I need ur help on this: Supposing after applying to schools A n B, school A (the school i prefer) delays with LoA buh school B sends LoA fast.Can I apply for TRV with school B's LoA and after gettn it, go to school A who later sends its LoA. Or can I substitute school B's LoA with school A's LoA at CDHC assuming school A's LoA came while TRV was still pending. Pls Oga Siga, Oga Chrigo, all the gurus in the house,I need ur advice.thanks!

kitty_sunshine: I am going for masters in information Studies. It is under the faculty of management,graduate studies. Check the school website for the contacts of the admission officer and administrative assistant in your department.Call or send an E-mail . Even if u call a wrong office, u will be redirected via extension.

kitty_sunshine: I will be resuming in January but I read about the school and I learnt its a good one with several awards especially in Management courses and its a historical school too. Its important to say wen it comes to school application, you should not put all ur eggs in one basket so apply to as many schools as you can. But my advice is that follow up is important. You don't apply and go to sleep. @Aduke2, maybe ur friend did not follow up. Dal has been amazing to M̶̲̥̅E̶̲̥̅ wen it comes to information. They are always there to respond to mails and calls. That's my experience anyway.

Aduke02: Dalhousie Uni is a very good school especially for law. I would, however, advise you to apply to other schools too cos from my experience and that of some other friends who applied there 2012/2013, they are fond of refusing to give u updates on your application i.e whether you are successful or not! You have to practically beg them to let you know. One particular friend applied in 2011 and till now is yet to hear from them, she has finished her masters in uni of Calgary since... When you are accepted, you'll definitely get reasonable funding from them depending on whether you applied for the thesis or coursework based LLM. I wish you all the very best.

Thanks a lot Aduke02,I appreciate the info.I will definitely apply to other schools too.buh pls whn u begged them to let u knw ur application status,did they eventually respond or they still did not.am sayin this becos they owe us an obligation to tell us our application status.that's part of the reason they collected application fee.they can't just collect our money and keep quiet.anyways I intend to follow up effectively with mails n calls.

I just applied for LLM at Dalhousie University,Canada.I have forwarded all the admission requirements.However the info on the admission requirements page is that international students whose education has not been in english must provide proof of proficiency in english(i.e toefl or equivalent).So my question is since Nigeria's education is generally in english,can I assume that they know and therefore will dispense with that requirement in my case or do I still av to prove it to them.am asking because I tried to get my University to do a confirmation to Dalhousie buh they wouldn't issue one.pls advice...
