Is it possible to make up to 10,000 Dollars in 8 months from cuttn jobs while studying in Canny. |
Hello House, I just applied to York Uni for Masters in Winter. The program is for 1 yr (full time). I hope this does not automatically spell doom cos I know the consensus here has always been that a 2yr program is better considering the no of years of PGWP one will get. Pls. enlighten me. I hope am still safe. |
mtxatx: Actually 3.35 can fetch u a Masters, but it just that its very difficult and u have to package ur application very well by adding other stuffs, like employment experience in that field and other certifications u might have related to the masters field.. its always difficult though.. Thanks a lot mehn. I tried Dalhousie for Masters for this september but I was not given admission. Well as u said, I will try to package my application well when I apply to other schools, although I have been searchn for other schools since buh there entry GP is what scares me, they are always saying B+ and that's a 2.1 whn u calculate it. Do u have any particular school in mind. Am still searchn though. |
Hello House. Pls is there anything like Pre-Masters in Canada. My sis forced me to speak to an agent today after I complained to her about not finding a suitable PGD Program after several months of searching. The agent suggested I could do Pre-Masters or a MBA. I am a lawyer; I have been searching for a PGD program in law since I realised that my CGPA (3.35) cannot fetch me a Masters admission but I am yet to find any. Anybody has any useful tips. Thanks! |
Good Morning All. Pls I asked this question b4 but nobody responded: Does a part-time degree qualify for PR. The course I want to apply for is 1 year on full time and 2 years on part-time. I want to take the 2 years option. Is that advisable. Pls help a bro. Thanks! |
Jijola: PGD in Law huh! Colleges are technical schools basically. Did you say you didn't get a Uni that does LL.M.?Most of them do o. Check U of T,McGill, BC, Alberta,Dalhousie, Calgary...If what you're saying is that they do not accept your CGPA for LL.M., then do a combined LLB/LLM programme at one of the schools. Some schools have such arrangements. Check the first four I mentioned above.Note that some schools don't call it LL.B./LL.M.. Thanks a lot bro. I appreciate that. And your reply to baaleofmontreal is so corrrect. Thanks again! |
Hello friends. Pls I need help o. I have been searching for a school for several months. I am a lawyer, I graduated with 3.35 CGPA. I have been searching for a Uni in Canada whr I can do LLM (Master of Laws) but I couldn't find any. Whn I decided to settle for PGD, I realized most Unis and especially Colleges don't have PGDs in law. Am so frustrated. what can I do? Anybody has any idea? Pls help me oo. Thanks! |
Hello Guys. Pls how would you rate Athabasca Uni,heard about it b4? And can one do part-time in Canada and use it to apply for PR? Cos I think I heard b4 that part time don't qualify for PR. |

In fact, I just sent another package to the school and I knw it will be delivered 2mrw or monday latest, cos today is the 9th. They charge only N420 and they give u a trackn code and the website to track it on. Buh it depends on u, if u want it delivered earlier u can use a private courier service. Safe! |

fatukay: The GP scale for most Canadian schools and Dalhousie is 4.0. I think what they do is they re-calculate your GP based on the 4.0 scale. So you may fit it into their scale when it's recalculated. Does this answer your question? |

Abeg how can I get accomodation there in halifax,I mean someone to stay with, like a nigerian studying in Dal.U get any link abeg? |
fatukay: Congratulations!!! Halifax earnestly awaits your coming. Please don't forget the yoyo bitters I asked...lol@ fatukay and kitty_sunshine, pls what is the GP Scale in Dalhousie, 4.0 or 5.0 or 4.5. Am askn cos their least GP for LLM is 3.0 and I av 3.3, buh my 3.3 is over 5.0. So am thinkn that if their scale is 4.0 as some pple have said, then their 3.0 cannot mean 3.0 on a 5.0 scale,it will probably be 3.5 or 4.0. Pls is this the case, and if so,what are my chances of gettn admission.thanks! |
Hello house, pls what is the GP Scale in Canadian Universities generally, 4.0 or 5.0 |
