To God be the Glory, great things He hath done! Medical mail has dropped o. I saw CIC's mail in my inbox in the morning, I just checked now and med mail greeted me. Thank God for me! It ended in praise. I was refused in March, now God has said Yes in July, and no man, not even CIC will say no. Thank you all for your love. Applied online June 7. Its time to visit IOM. This property is actually slightly more than a plot and its located in Aguda, Surulere. No Omo Onile issues and its ready for whatever use. Access is easy as the road is motorable and all title docs are intact. Asking price is 45M.

Congrats Dear! I was happy when I saw CruzAj's med post but I am happier readn urs. The reason is that just like you my first app was refused on insufficient funds and I changed my sponsor in the second app. So u see, I have to tap from this ur testimony cos that's exactly what I need. BTW, did you reuse the CIC forms in ur second app or u downloaded and filled a fresh one? All the best!

Good Morning All. Pls for those who have been denied before and reapplied. Pls which UCI no. did u qoute in the IMM1294 form. The one on ur refusal letter or the one on your biometrics form. I realised the one on the biometrics form is different from the one on the refusal letter.

@CruzAj I greet you. Congratulations on your med mail. So happy for you. Your med mail has simply lifted my spirit. If you still remember, my first app was refused for insufficient funds too. Now I believe my med mail is sure too by the grace of God because I have covered that ground. Cheers! Go shine in Canny!!

Hello all. Submitted my app yesterday and did biometrics today. Saw richcasey at VAC, great guy... Pls does CIC verify LoA from the school. Am curious because my program has been updated by the school but I submitted the LoA for the former program in my app. Although the updated program is in the same field as the former program, the different is just area of concentration.

@feistyoly, U can do ur LL.M without a Pre-LL.M as long as u meet the requirements for LL.M. Its as simple as that. Am goin for LL.M in York Uni and I didn't do any Pre-LL.M. I don't even think most schools do that, not sure though. Buh its just like sayn u wana do PGD in Law which is seriously scarce in Canadian schools. So just look for a school that u can meet their requirement and the admission is urs. Look at York Uni, Uni of Calgary, Dalhousie Uni, Uni of Alberta, Queens Uni n a few others. Safe!

@justica,i think there are some questions tht need to be addressed by ur sponsor.
1.How many dependants does ur aunt hve?
2.What is the assurance tht the funds frm your aunt is available for you?
3.Why is your aunt spending tht much on you.Wht does she stand to gain?
So i think you need a detailed letter of sponsor cos there is more than just presenting a SOA wit huge funds.
Note:Try search for @pchax letter nd declaration of sponsorship,it is well detailed

Hello dear, thx for ur observation. All three points u raised was covered in my aunt's Letter of Sponsorship. First, she stated that her only two children are primarily dependent on her husband; Second, she stated she wanted to pay my first tuition instalment buh she is informed that payment is scheduled for September; Third, she stated that she feels obligated to sponsor me cos she couldn't have achieved her own dreams without my Dads guidannce n assistance. So u see, its detailed. The only other thing that I feel she should have stated is that I will be legal consultant to her company when I return, buh I can put that in my letter of explanation..

Your aunts' is more than a enough to tackle the reason given. Gurus in the house over to you....

@oga siga, tnuola, hayqinshq, darefestus nd all, I am back again o, pls help me review this, i have to apply latest June 5 cos am resuming august 10. So I have substituted my dad with my aunt as Sponsor 1, she's got abt 22M in her acct which is over sufficient. But Sponsor 2, my uncle who I have decided to retain in this second app has a balance of abt 500k now as opposed to the 2.1M he had the first time. So do u think I should still use him bcs of consistency sake or I should just use only my aunt in which case I would have changed sponsors completely. Remember my 1st app was refused for insufficient funds only. Thanks!

Hello house, please am reapplying soon. Does my sponsor have to write a new Letter of Sponsorship to say that he has now upgraded his account, or I should use the former letter and just attach the new account statement showing his new balance. And if he has to write another one, can he refer to my former application or he should not make any reference at all. Pls help o. Thanks!

Well, this is what they called insufficient: I used 2 sponsors, Dad n Maternal Uncle. Dad wrote he was giving me 3.5M out of 3.8M in his SoA. Uncle wrote he was giving me 4M but he had 2.1M in his SoA, although I showed proof that he earns 11M/yr and he has property. Then my own SoA of 1.1M. So that's it. From what pple here have said, I think the V.O. felt 3.5M was too much for a retired man to give me out of 3.8M and for my Uncle's that his balance was lower than what he promised and what's gonna happen to his dependants.

As regards my denied app, I am a lawyer and am going for Master of Laws at York Uni. Its a 1yr program and my tuition alone is 33k CAD. I was denied for insufficient funds only. Getting set to refire pretty soon. Wish me grace and favour! Cheers!

1). You won't submit hard copies of the docs..you will only print and submit 2 copies of 'the biometric mail' u wd rcv aftr submitn online + copies of data page of ur international passport, then pay 300naira.
2)LOE = SOP

IMO, I don't think LOE equals SOP. SOP as the name implies means statement regarding your purpose of wanting to go to Canada i.e what u want to go and do there which in our case is study, and you can add other things like why u picked the school and the course and the benefits you believe the progrram will confer on you when ure done. LOE on the other hand is a letter that is used to explain ur app generally especially areas you believe must be explained better to the V.O. for them to understand why this is that or that is this in ur app. My 50cents.

You cannot have a UCI Number if you have not been denied b4, so just leave it blank. Or better still put N/A if alphabet is allowed in the box. Safe!

DON'T change sponsors drastically. Retain your uncle if u cant retain ur dad.

U can add ur aunty and claim after the first delay you approached her and she decided to help you by assisting you with an amount of money yearly cos she was a beneficiary of your dad when he was in service.

Am still retaining my uncle, only that he may be planing to beef up his acct with a lump sum which am not so comfy with. What do u advise if that happens..

@standupguy, can one apply a second time within the same CIC account or I have to open another account. Was delayed May 4 on financial grounds only, planing to reapply May 26. I hope its not to early. My admission is for Fall 2015 and I don't have much time cos am to resume august 10. Can I also use the former CIC forms and just edit them since I still have them on my PC. Btw I have tackled the sole ground for the delay by substituting one of my former sponsors with my aunt; she's got 19M+ in her SoA. My tuition fees and other sundry fees amounts to only 8.5M, so I think am good. Buh pls help review. Am adding my SoA of abt 1.3M too btw.

I really wish I could retain my Dad buh his account has been seriously depleted. From 3.8M to 1.9M. Again, the acct has remained the same bcs he is retired and there is no other source of income. And I can't put my own little funds in his acct cos I too must print my SoA to show I have money to leave for my wife n daughter when I travel.

@all and @Kacchiz and anyone delayed for insufficient funds only. Pls how did u tackle it. Did u change ur sponsors or they just beefed up their acct. Was delayed on May 4, planing to reapply by May 25. I intend to replace one of my sponsors because his acct has been seriously depleted. I used my Dad n Uncle b4, wana use my Aunt (abt 19M in SoA) and the same Uncle (to beef up SoA to abt 8M) now. Considering using only my Aunt buh I feel retaining one of the sponsors will help. pls review.
