Thanks hayqinsbFX! Buh u see its that sufficient amount of time that I don't have. For me to make Fall 2015(August precisely), I have to apply within this month. So putting enough funds in Dads acct between now and say 2 weeks time when I will be reapplying will surely raise suspicion for a man who is supposed to be retired. And if I decide to use his 2M closing balance like that and say he is supportn me with like 1M, is the V.O. not gonna assume that if the initial 3.8M can come to 2M b4 my 1st app was decided, then the 2M can also come to 500k before the 2nd app is decided. So I have decided to substitute him with my Aunt whose maiden name is the same as my surname and I'll ask my Uncle to beef up his own acct, then add my own SoA as well, I added it the first time though. With this, I will scale thru by God's grace.

Am sorry am just responding, been at work all day, not lettn the delay bother me at all. Well this is the position now: Dad's account as at today is 2M. As per beefn it up, that's not gonna happen cos he's got no other source of income except his 50k pension which is paid monthly. So I feel using him again will raise a red flag, cos the V.O. will wonder why his SoA moved down from 3.8M to 2M in 6 weeks of my first app if he truly wanted to sponsor me.

Thanks tnuola! Dads 3.8M has been depleted, that's y am ruling him out. As for my Uncle, his account is always up/down. I'll call him to know how much he has in there now. As for tuition payment, school said its not yet time to pay, that's y I didn't pay, I think payment starts in june/july

Dear House, I was delayed yesterday. The only reason ticked is financial resources. I want to reapply ASAP cos my admission is for Fall, 2015. I used my Dad and my Uncle as sponsors. My Dad is retired and I suspect the V.O. felt the money in his acct wasn't good enough. He had 3.8M out of which he was to support me with 3.5M as stated in his letter of Sponsorship. My Uncle had 2.1M in his acct and he wrote in his letter of Sponsorship that he will support me with 4M, although his pay package showing that he earns 11m per year was attached + his land docs. Can I use only my Uncle for this 2nd app and tell him to beef up his acctt or should I use a fresh sponsor. Pls advise. I feel sad but I wana stay focused cos I know I can still get it cos there is time. Thanks!

Hi all. Am on the waiting list. Applied March 19. Am really anxious cos I know its coming soon. I remember when the waitn time used to be very long, say 3 months, when the likes of Chrigo, Oga Siga, Finestlex and other giants usedd to talk abt going to "rant" for the V.O.s to release their decision. I guess there is no more ranting now that it all takes 6 to 7 weeks max. All the "ranting" should now go to the Most High God in form of prayers and fasting. May our "ranting" be acceptable unto Him, Amen! All the best my people!

Abeg help me review this: My Program Coordinator has just advised me to change my program to one that will allow me practice Law in Canny. I saw the program on the School's website b4 buh I didn't select it bcs I imagined it will show to V.O. that am not coming home (at least not soon) and it may affect my visa app, so I picked a program that doesn't suggest that I'll be staying back. The issue now is that I fear that if I change to the program as advised by my Prog Coordinator, the School will send notice of the new program to the embassy or the embassy may find out if they inquire in the course or reviewing my Visa app which I have submitted. Someone has advised me to wait and get TRV and then change the program when I get to School, buh there is a deadline for me to signify my interest in the program. Pls advise. Thanks!

tnuola you of all pple knw that there is no such thing as a perfect application. You only have to do ur best and leave the rest. With ur wealth of experience, ur best + prayers should be enough. God bless ur hustle!

I got an email from the course coordinator notifying me that I had been recommended to the School of Graduate Studies for admission but my problem now is that it is over a week now and my status still says "Application complete"

Does anyone have an idea as to what I could do or when to expect the change in my status from application complete to decision made?

just calm down. Since you have been recommended, they usually admit. But remember its recommendation for admission, when they admit you, you will be notified and your status will then change. Just chill!

I have not opened the online application platform before, however I saw a screenshot posted by somebody in an earlier thread. From there, I noticed that the financial documents will be put into one file and uploaded. Does this apply to the optional documents as well? Somebody with experience should clarify please.

All docs must be in one File, added to the doc actually required. E.g you can add Degree Cert, Transcript etc to your LoA under Letter of Acceptance Upload Tab. Buh Digital Photo and Int'l Passport (travel doc) are uploaded alone under their respective upload tab. Optional docs too must be in one File preferably under LoE Upload tab.

Log-in to your MyCIC account, go to submitted applications, click on check status n messages. The nxt page shows the status of ur application and at the bottom of the page you will see the msgs that CIC has sent to you. One of them is ur biometrics form. Print it and take it along with ur int'l passport to VAC at lekki, ikate bus stop. That's whr u'll do ur biometrics. Remember to make 2 copies each of the form and ur passport. Safe!

Hello everyone. Am at the upload section of my application buh I need a bit of guidance. What docs goes under what category. For eg, am thinkn all sponsors docs should go under Proof of Financial Support and my LoA plus all my credentials under Letter of Acceptance. So what goes under Passport or Travel doc, Medical Exam, Digital Photo and Schedule 1. Any other docs apart from the obvious one. I just don't wana put any doc in the wrong category. Thanks!

Hello house. My Sponsor is an Oga in a bank so he just sent me a soft copy of his SoA instead of hard copy so there is no signature n stamp of the bank, although it looks original. Pls what can I do. Can I use it like that? Am thinkn of using LoE to explain it to the V.O. or can I print it out and notarize it. Thanks!

Hello Pple. Pls help me review this: what my sponsor forwarded to me in place of SoA is an email from his employer, Union Bank stating his Annual Package when he joined them last year. Its a total of 11M+. Can I use this as SoA or should I insist on SoA proper. Thanks!
