In China many websites are blocked, same with Iran. Pple don't have the right to access certain web pages in China or write things against the Govt let alone STEALING Govt secret info. Why did you think google left China? BBC is blocked in China,

That is what H.Clinton is talkig about, get the difference b4 posting.

The info wikileak is publishing is classified info stored in a database, it wasn't an online materia AND every country has one of such secret databases.

@Passy234, I have replied to your email.@ Bandiejay
Ignorance is really a decease!! and people like you will ever remain blind till the end of time!! henceforth, you will be here wasting your time and posting silly comments, whereas other intelligent and wise people in the forum will seek knowledge and advance forward.People like you are the ones tarnishing Nigerian image whereas you knows nothing.Please wake up from your slumber because the world is getting civilized everyday.
@Justwise,
This your too know will never lead you to anywhere!! beside that, you are such a negative minded person and I wonder how many people you have managed to destroy their future because you speak only negative things.If you doesn't know something and refused to learn or seek knowledge of what you never know,, then you will forever remain the most biggest Olodo! as oruba says, or Iti! as igbos calls such people like you.
Nairaland is being browsed by people around the global world and you must mind what you say to people you never know.I can teach you a lot of things that would help you advance positively in your life.People like you are the ones who is destroying our nation.You doesn't know what is going on in the world because from your post, I can understand the level of your mentality which is very poor.Be wise and not 'justwise' as you call yourself because I can not see any wisdom in you from the way you comment.Accept the fact that the end of your Knowledge is the beginning of another persons knowledge!!!
All nonsense. You are just useless.

The fact still remain that he published a stolen diplomatic info, yes there are millions of info online but America govt never put that info he published online for everybody to view.

The undeniable truth is, the justification of wikileaks will continue to be a debatable topic, not with governments such as Russia and South America  supporting him, many people need just a reason to hate America, and Julian is providing 250,000 of such reasons, you can hardly castigate such a man.If he died of mysterious circumstances tomorrow, the US will witness a massive wave of criticisms and condemnation from across the world and in America.
Just imagine Russia talking about freedom of speech, how many journalist have been killed in Russia recently for speaking out? Russia will always suppport anything anti-America.
The point u are missing here is this. . . this is not just about America, its about everybody who has one or two things to do with American diplomas and Govt, its about world security which America plays a big part, not only Americans that died in 9/11 or only UK citizens that were blown up on July 7. If pple stops sharing vital security info then we are in for a shock. Only criminals will benefit from the leak.

Is it a surprise that he was nominated New York times "man of the year"?

goods and information are as far from themselves as day is from night.In as much as i condemn Julian Assange for his cheap attempt at fame, i believe the US government will have to tread carefully in this scenario. . . .you can't really prosecute me if i tell the world about an information i heard/got from someone. . .especially when Assange isn't a US citizen, he owes America no obligation.
Goods can be tangiable or intangiable, information is an intangiable 'goods'

You will be prosecuted if you distribute stolen secret information. We are not talking about just any imformation, we are talking about classified secret diplomatic information.

@Justwise,
You are right i use to work with some agencies before i left Nigeria but now i no longer work as an agent since i am out of the country.
Moreover the fact that you are an agent doesn't mean you can process every country's visa because that depends on where your connection is.
Please if you can help just do it and stop trying to judge or make me look silly.

USA has no case. The 4th Amendment guarantees a publisher freedom 2 publish. The information he published has to proven dat he stole dem 4 him 2 be charged under d Espionage Act. As long as he can prove dat he didn't steal dem, he is in d clear. Its different in d UK where publishing secret documents is automatically Illegal. Read up Times US edition 4 d analysis.
Contradiction?

So is good for money making,only for those proud ladies who feel that no D1ck can enter them

I have collected a letter from my department for the verification of my degree certificate and this letter has the full postal mailing address of the university and department, however the department did not include a telephone number as the department does not have one.
Please I want to know if the Head of Department can include his personal mobile phone number on the letter or the letter from the department with the full postal mailing address will be suffice. This is because I do not know if the BHC prefers to call or write to the department for verification.

Thanks
It will be hard to believe that a whole department of an university does not have a phone number. I don't see BHC writing a letter to confirm ur certificate, make sure u include the university phone number, if they can't verify ur certificate then the chances of u getting a visa is very slim.

The statement is true. I contributed positively to these statistics as well, as I paid a bribe last week to get my biometric passport. There was a "fast service" option, which cost more, but which took applications through the "back door", and this is what I went for. This is done in many countries, but the only difference is that in other places, it would be legalised and called a "faster service option", and hence the whole issue of bribery is rendered impotent. Everything becomes legal - just the same services with different "options".
You paid that in the UK or Nigeria?

@Justwise or anyone that knows about this,

Does US and UK shares database. I applied for UK visa in 2010 with my e-pali didn't disclosed that I have been refused US visa in 2008 with naija (MVP). Both the MVP and the e-pali has the same information. Hope it won't cause any problem in getting the UK visa.

Your advise will be highly appreciated.
I think they do share info but i'm not sure about this, but if u haven't committed any serious immigration crime then u got nothing to worry about, some of us have been refused USA visa b4 and still got UK visa.
