favoured234: You see someone wanting to go abroad to make some big money you are here telling him something I cant explain....
On a more serious note, some people must learn the hard way.. I hope the brother will be willing to keep sending him money if things don't go as planned or they will open up their arms to receive him back to nja if go no go. His brother has to be pretty rich to do that constantly for some years because its going to be a tough rid for him |

However I have a question o. I checked the visa and saw that I was given only 10hrs to work during term time and I am a postgraduate student. I was planning to work for only 10-12 hours then volunteer for about 4 hours now I can't. Pls does anyone know why I was granted only 10hours?
P.S: I have a scholarship and a bursary. And my course is a 25 hours per week one. Congratulations! |

nunaija: Good day Justwise and others! Thank you for the good job you are doing here. I posted on this thread previously about my refusal early this year. I was guided and reapplied and Voila! I was refused again.
I was refused the first time because I did not include my salary account and I got the "How much do you have for this trip question" wrong. This time I attached my salary account that shows my 300k monthly salary with pay slip for 6 months. I wrote a cover note to explain why I was refused at first and that I have attached the documents as requested
My purpose of traveling is for a 1 week training.
My second refusal: The ECO said my previous training does not have anything to do with the training I'm going for. I bet they are related and its also job related.
Second reason is that I said the cost of travel and accommodation is 646 GBP. The ECO responded that The amount is unreasonable for airfare, accomodation, course fee and maintenance. I have paid for the course fee and Don't understand why he/she is referring to course fee. finally, the fund you have shown are not sufficient to cover all the expenses for the trip.
The balance on the account is roughly 1M
Good people please advise me on what to do next.
Thank you in anticipation The ECO is right, that is not enough for flight, accommodation and transport within the UK |

chuna1985: I hope u don't think The Royal family has no power n control over the affairs in great Britain. They don't, they play merely ceremonial part, they don't run the govt neither do they make laws or policies. They don't belong to any political party, they don't contest for election or any public office just like in Nigeria where we Emir of Kano and other royal families. They generate huge amount of money for British govt through tourist but cost a British tax payer only 60p per year. |

Msp: Hello @ogreene and @justwise pls I'll like to confirm something. When applying for group visa, i know we have to to fill separate applications. How do we get the same appointment date or book as a group/family.
Thanks It will probably work out if you use the button in the form that says: Apply for someone else (something like that) after applying for yourself so that the application will be linked hence given the same appointment date. |

cindynwagbo: Good evening house.please one quick question, does UK embassy look out for travel history before granting visa? And secondly if the husband has been to UK before and has a valid USA VISA will it guarantee the wife and child who has no travel history a UK visa? .husband wife and child applying together. please prof justwise and my other guru's pls help me out. Thanks 1. Yes your travel history will be considered and it also help your application but you still have to meet the visa requirement at that time. 2. No it will not guarantee the wife and the child a visa. The most important thing is meeting the visa requirements but no visa is guaranteed even if you met all requirements. |

A party comprised by just one Family n collects about 0.1 percent tax on every British citizens for life. Clueless, i guess you need to educate yourself about British system of govt. |

He will not be refused because of that but could be asked why he did not use the previous visa during the interview |

FrontPageLawyer: Is it now reasonable for me to say;
What is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP(£)? 1344 instead of 1565
The total amount of money I have for this trip 1600 GBP setting aside 256 GBP for Miscellaneous.
God Bless Justwise and Ogreene. I have really bothered you people. Sorry for the troubles. As long as those budgets especially flight and accommodation figures are realistic then you will be find |

stag: While I'm with Mugabe on a number of things, he hasn't been able to garner the political power to have an influential say on things happening around the continent. Largely because his approach to issues tend to be too aggressive and vulgar. While he was on about getting married to Obama vis a vis the gay issues, a more matured and diplomatic response was heard from Kenya's president while Obama visited.
Being fearless isn't enough to buy followers into your ideas. Unfortunately, african leaders have been visionary but their methods to achieving the visions haven't been potent enough to achieve desired results. An example is Ghadafi unification ideas for Africa. That certainly died with him, with no followers to act on it nor preach it on.
Still, the Saharareporters' journalist was wrong to have harassed him in that manner.
Mugabe, it'll be a honour if you step aside for new hands in governance in your country though No largely because he is a hypocrite, you can't tell others to do what you have refused to do in your own country. He is not a leader, a leader leads by example |

FrontPageLawyer: 4-5 days
Thank you Then £642 for food alone for both of you is over the top, £300 for both sound reasonable. Transport for both should be £150 maximum, with Oyster card you can go round London with less. You can use it both in London buses and tubes |

FrontPageLawyer: Prof justwise. Thank you for great contributions.
Please pardon me if I am bordering you. Truth is I don't want to get it wrong this time.
Final questions before I submit:
(1) What is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP(£)? I imputed 1635 GBP and my breakdown is thus;
Flight Ticket 694 GBP Accommodation 420 GBP Food 321 GBP Transportation 200 GBP
Total is 1635 GBP
(2) The total amount of money you have for this trip ( I imputed 1900 GBP, because I have set aside 265 GBP for Miscellaneous)
(3) What is the total amount in GBP(£)? (I imputed 1635 GBP)
Please note that my company ( own by me is paying for the trip)
I need to be guided if I have done the right thing or not.
Also, please note that I have the funds available. How about your business partner? The calculation for two? |
