Ademuyiz: Yes, you can by all means take out of the money you have deposited in your account after you have submitted. I transferred back the money I used for my 28 days count back to my dad immediately I submitted. All the UKVI wants to know is if you can keep such amount untouched for 28 days, after that, whatever you do with the money isn't their business.
It's not stated anywhere in the guide that you shouldn't touch the money after submitting. The only disadvantage of doing that is, if you are refused for any other reason, you will have to start counting from the start again since you tampered with the amount.
The only thing you shouldn't do wrong is submit a false bank statement. No bank is under an obligation to divulge your account balance to an embassy. The statement is proof enough. You are misleading the op and making up your own rules. |

Soloehis76: Hello House, This is my first time on nairaland, I hope this is the right way to make enquiry. I have my determination letter that was allowed on the 31/07/2015, since them, I've not receive any phone call from the Home office. Please, I want to know how long I might need to wait, or if there is any other way to go about this process. Any advice will be highly appreciated as my wife is ill and needs to have an operation, she need me to care for the kids. There is no time limit for this, many have waited for more than a month before hearing from them. You can contact the embassy by phone or email with your Ref for follow up. |

Portsmouth86: He speaks English as a first language, and works at the British embassy, he also has a degree in Sociology, so how can he prove it apart from speaking the language fluently just as i speak it being my mother tongue?
Does he not need to supply his own bank statements and payslips then?
Cheers
K Nah! he is good to go, no need for English language test. His bank statement is not needed but some people still add it anyway |

Portsmouth86: Hi JW
thank you I think I have a little OCD
Just a quick one, the document called "guide to supporting documents-settlement" asks for supporting financial documents from both applicant and also from sponsor, I'm aware I will have to send mine to Sheffield, does my husband need a copy of all my documents to submit when he applies for his visa or is it just his own bank statements and payslips they are specifying? kind regards,
Karen No, you send all your documents to Sheffield while he submits his application form, TB result and English language test result(If he needs one) at visa center in Nigeria. |

You DO NOT need to freeze your account you can use it as long as the total never falls below the required sum. I'm afraid but you got this one wrong, usqoh is right in this case. |
