Hello house, pls I need some clarification. Hubby and I r applying 4 uk visa....Some parts of d form r confusing me. Pls clarify. Am paying 500k....he's paying 800k
pls help answer this question correctly

1) what is d cost personally 2u 4 this trip: 500k
2) what is the total amount of money u have for this trip in GBP: ( am not sure how to answer)
3) is some one else other than u paying 4 this trip: Yes hubby
4 ) how much are they paying: 800k
5) why are they paying (am not sure how to answer )
6 ) what is the total amount in GBP (am not sure how to answer)

My confusion is btw no 2 quest n no 6 question.

Also for the cost of accomodation the hotel we got is 250k.... am I supposed to write this amount in my form and his or split it in half in both forms?

Also living expense of 100k......shld I write 100k in my form m his or split it in half for both of us.

Is it true that the vi appointments r usually far away? I want to submit today n travel on the 17th July. .. what's d best way to make sure we get our passport b4 dat travel date?

Also there's a part in d form where u have to put ur dependants....we r travelling with our daughter but she has a US passport so no need 4 visa... the confusion here is there's a quest that says 'country deported from' I don't know how to answer this since she 2 as nt deported from any where and it's a compulsory field to fill
To make things easier for yourself use oanda website to convert all the money you have for the trip and answer all money related questions in £.

1. Make a budget of the trip(you need to outline it in the form or use extra paper) flight, accommodation, feeding, traveling within the UK etc...the total cost is the answer to that question in £s.

2. If you have £2000 in your bank account and the trip will cost you £1000 then the answer to this question is £2000, if you don't make a budget and state it in the form the ECO will assumed that you will be spending the whole £2000 for the trip.

3. You answered that already.

4. You answered that as well.

5. Because he is your hubby.

6. Answered that already.

Yes write the amount in the form don't slipt it.

Yes you need to put your daughter's name because the cost of the trip will include her.

If you haven't deported from any country the select no or N/A

Good Evening Great people.

Straight to the point.

My company was awarded a contract running into Millions. We have only done one job in 2013 until the award of this contract in June 2015.

We have paid supplier from UK for supply of the Engineering equipment for a federal University in Nigeria.

I intend to visit the Company in UK for a pre-visit inspection before arrival of equipments.

What documents will be required?
Before payment was released for the supply, we have just 20k in the coy's account, but millions was deposited today. Hope this is not seen as a lump sum deposit?

In my personal current account, I have only 500k balance.

To all the gurus. Your advise on what to do will be appreciated.
Is this your company or a company you work for?

If the money is in your name and enough for your fees and maintenance money then you will be fine. With student visa application your source of income matters very little.

Good Day justwise, please how do I go about applying for my two kids. Both are less than 10years old. I already have a 6months which is expiring september but I want to take them for summer holiday in august. Thanks a million.
Not difficult, just the same way you went about your own application but you need to attach photocopy of your 6 months visa and evidence of available finance for the trip

Wait o! Please someone should help me answer this. So if they grant you your visa on the 10th of August you have to leave before the 10th of September even if your classes would start on the 21st of september ehen?! Abi craze dey worry dis people?! What is all this rule na?!

What I thought was that when they issue the visa and you arrive in the u.k, you have 30 days to go to the post office or their office close to your school to get the visa for the remaining months. At least that is what I think I read on my school's website.

Someone knowledge (no guessing o) please clarify this issue o. I take God beg una.....
That is the case else your visa will expire and you have to apply again.

Good morning good people,a friend of mine who is a UK citizen is sending me an invitation letter.I am a Registered Nurse, works with the Nigerian Navy,single...I have 1.1million naira in my salary account. What are the documents that I need to submit and do I stand a chance of getting the visa?
Reading few pages back will answer that question.

Nobody can tell you authoritatively that you will be given a visa or not even if you met all the requirements. You just have to apply and the ECO will make that decision

Hi Justwise. God bless u more for the superb job u doing right here!

My query is on behalf of a friend. She has a 2year valid visa and she visits the UK at least once a year right from when she applied/had 6months visa till she got the 2years.

She met a nice man on one of her trips, a relationship ensued and he later came down to Nigeria for the wedding proper(court wedding) last month.

Her question is, she doesn't want to file for a spousal visa to join her husband yet as she has a great job going on here, plus she still got a multiple valid visa which she wouldn't mind renewing after expiration. Would this count against her at the port of entry on her next visit if she states she is there to visit her husband, and in the process of her visit visa renewal, would she have issues since she would mention her husband as british resident/citizen in the application form.

Justwise o. Your candid advice please. Thanks much
She will be absolutely fine. Nothing to worry about really.

Hello justwise.
I got a quick question. Can I used a joint mandate acct to apply for UK study visa? The account is in my name but their are 3 signatories to it.
Thanks
Will the money in that account be available to you in the UK since there are other signatories?

Hi Guys,

I'm submitting my application for a visitor's visa to the U.K. I paid for the fast track added value service online, on teleperformance's website. After I made the payment, I got directed back to my application page, with no proof of payment or anything. I also checked my email and I got no confirmation that I had paid for the service.

What proof will I have to show that I already paid at the submission centre?

Thanks.
Have you contacted the embassy?

I really commend you people for the good work u av been doing here. Please i need your assistance. My brother travelled to UK 2 months ago, but unfortunately the UK Immigration deported him because the hotel reservations he made which was done by his agent could not be verified. In other words, they deported him becos they thought he didnt book hotel and his visa wascancelled placing him on a year ban.
He wants to apply for US visa now but i dont know if there are chances of getting the visa due to the cancellation he had previously? Please and please, i want you to make contributions so that our application will not be refused..God bless

Nobody can authoritatively tell you whether he will be given a visa or not, all he has to do is to prepare for the interview and most importantly be as honest as possible then the VO will make that decision.

Hello Fam,

Please I need a bit of guidance

I have gotten admission at the university of Manchester

My Fees is 20K Pounds
How much do I need to show in my account to apply for a VISA

Thank You
You need to show £7380 (maintenance money) + 20K, that is if you haven't paid your fees or make accommodation deposit.

@justwise. sorry to ask this cos i am confused. by applying for visa online, will only that be enough. I saw some hard copy form being sold in front of embassy manually being filled into. Do i need that to?

also can u please send me link where i can apply for uk tier 4 student visa?

thank you.
Yes online application is all you need but you still need to printout out the same form and attach all your supporting documents for physical submission.

Basically after submitting the form online you print it out and attach the same set of documents you uploaded online then submit at the visa centre on your appointment day.

Not normal, you need to apply for wife application d same way u applied for your own after applying for ur own, go to add another application then u can add ur wife application and make payment for her. @justwise nd other hope this is right?
I don't think a lot of people are aware of that button because some have to open a separate application rather adding one in the same form.

Thanks for pointing that out.

morning justwise and good morning to you all guys here.pls I need know what I don't know pls,I just submitted my online UK visit visa application and I have been giving a date to come for the submission of my doc in this next coming week.I have been out of Nigeria for more than a year working in abroad but I have terminate my contract with the company that I was working with in abroad(U.A.E) .I came in back to Nigeria in match 2015 to come and handle the post of supervisor in my father's company.
Now this are my questions below.
I have not been putting any money in my Nigeria bank acct.while I was abroad, but I started putting money since when I got to Nigeria from march till June 15,2015 and total credit balance is 1.228million naira within march 4th and June 15,2015...my total debit is 985k within march and June 15 and total balance print out is 250k though my dad company will be my sponsor also and I have been giving a letter by the company and necessary documents that I will need to present at the embassy including my letter of application into company. I budget my traveling allowance for 1200GDP and that include feeding, transport flight and hotel for 10days.but since then that I have start working with my dad coming ,I have not been on salary roll yet but I am getting commissions and that is being paid by individuals to my personal account and that is what makes my cash flows from march till June 15 before I print out my statements of account. pls guys do I stand any chance of getting the visit visa?

Personally i don't think you stand a chance but i hope i'm wrong.

1. You haven't presented any evidence to justify how you made 985K within 3months, no payslip or direct bank payment from the company into your account.

2. Your Daddy's company can not sponsor you for 10days holiday because the company's money is not for leisure trip

3. You have 250k in your account but budgeted to spend £1200 in ten days. In today's exchange rate that is 375,608K

So you have budgeted to spend more than you have in your account.

I think students should be exempted from the proposal

I think visitors should be made to buy health insurance though just like other European countries
I have to agree with you, foreign students should have been exempted from it.

Though £150 a year is nothing compare to what foreign students pay monthly in other EU countries.
