I made my opinion known on an earlier thread regarding their GO, I know what manner of criticism and treaths I received. davidylan and the rest who are on the side of truth, never mind the outbursts poured on you. History would surely absolve you all one good day. Let's keep our fingers crossed and see what these one - man - business empires who call themselves churches would acquire next.

Nobody is worshipping man here, but give honour to whom honour is due. Pastor Adeboye is old enough to be your father, so I do not see any reason why one should come out with insults on him on a public forum like this. Whatever testimonies he has giving is to the glory of His father in heaven, so what is the problem with it. Why use such words on him. Even Jesus ate with sinners and never condemns any one, so why won't he relate with Obasanjo. Mind you, he was never involved in the acts nor politics of Obasanjo. Even Jesus was found amongst sinners but was never a sinner nor commited any sin. Mind you, the bible says "WITH God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE". So, none of his testimonies is difficult for God to do. Even if you choose not to believe him, at least believe the fact that God can do all that he has testified of and give glory to God rather than all these vain words. May God have mercy.

You do not know my age so do not assume he is old enough to be my father. Even if yes, does it mean you have never doubted the words of someone who is older than you. I stand on my post and I would never be shaken, let nobody threaten me with hellfire again. I wonder why all the brouhaha about this. Even if all the peoples of the world condemn me as long as my conscience does not condemn me I am OK. Let anybody judge me the way he feels because I said what I felt. I refuse to idolise any man in the world. Every free man has got the undoubted right to lay what sentiment he pleases before the public. The only sin that can not be forgiven is one to the holy spirit, is the GO then the holy spirit? Or has the holy spirit been personified in him? I would like to confirm that before I am condemned.
This is a free discourse. I had cause to insult about three persons on this thread over the past 2 days and I am really sorry for that. But that does not mean I would not hit back on anybody that tries to say anything rash on my person. My good friend who thought I lied about the testimonies I quoted should please ask any member of the RCCG flock.They would willingly confirm it to you since most of them follows the GO programs closely.
I believe in the Trinity: Father, Son and Spirit. I am a christian if anybody should think otherwise, and I have my own church that I attend. We too do get criticisms from the public, but we never resort to joining issues with anybody since we let God fight for us if the need be.

Sweetiemi, I would have appreciated it if you had cared to read how joomiegal, pastor AIO and winnteam called me a fool first yesterday because I posted my opinion on the testimonies of their GO. Do I have to believe his testimonies? I had to pay them back in their own coin. Nigeria, for now, is not a secular state where you can not voice out your views, especially on religion. Please note that every human being has emotions, I do not see anything wrong if I am vexed and I replied in like manner.
When you read their vituperations on me, please do let me know if I am guilty or not. I have promised them I am not going to talk to them again since simple, reasonable and logical truth hurt them. I know nairaland is for courteous people, but when some of those people throw decorum to the winds, they should be ready to face the consequence of their temerity.
So when you are through with their tantrums on me yesterday, you would please judge who truly needs a disinfectant. I have heard Pastor Adeboye's testimonies so many times (on air when I am less busy as my legs would never step the Redemption camp till I die) and that has led me to the conclusion that those who still attend his shop, sorry church are gullible.

He it was who said he drove a car from Abuja to Lagos without fuel because he told 'daddy' he is going to do his work during a period of acute fuel scarcity. Pray, what is the connection between religion and technology?

He also recounted how he told 'daddy' that America is too cold when he was about going to the US. Of course God granted that request too and that state has never been hot as during his visit.

He also recounted how his car came face to face with a trailer on a narrow bridge and he told 'daddy' to save him. His car flew over the trailer while the driver exclaimed!

I don't know the motive of fyneguy, maybe he believes those lies he quoted or he just wanted the world to know the folly and jest which religion has been turned to. I would continue to assert that God cannot be mocked. Even the intellectuals that were supposed to be more reasonable would go about peddling these lies in their quest to become pastors and deacons. We would all be there on judgment day and we would witness how the supposedly mightiest would fall.

For me and some others of the orthodox faiths, reason would prevail over arrant lies. I rest my case.
