EventsRe: The World Ends 21st Dec., 2012-Mayan calender. What preparations are you making? by k2039: 6:34am On Dec 18, 2012
I will only be gullible and demonstrate extreme stupidity by preparing for something I know will never happen.
RomanceRe: If U Could Change Something About Ur Babe What Ll It Be by k2039:
dmcdad: Helping someone change in certain areas doesn't mean the person is not appreciated or something... The thing is, you appreciate a person's imperfection as it were, yet you help the person to grow and become perfect (even though we know no one can be perfect). If your gurlfriend were to be a LovePeddler, would you leave it at that just because you wanna appreciate her imperfection? Nope! I guess not. But you'd wanna help her become a person, not to condemn her.

I feel, one of the salient reasons we go into relationships is the fact that we wanna build each other and make each other better in all ramifications (even though what people care about in relationships today is sex, without taking into account that it's a period to help each other grow intellectually, spiritually, educationally, morally, ethically and so on.....). In going into a relationship or marriage, you appreciate the person's virtues and try to live with the person's vices. That doesn't mean one shouldn't help the person in getting over it's vices so as to become a person.

Wouldn't you agree?
I understand where you are driving at and I quite agree with you, I thought about that too though before posting my comment.

But, basically if I do find a girl I like, If I have to change her to become who I want then she still doesnt deserve to be with me, I must have sized you up on a scale, if I have issues she needs to change, am I saying if she doesnt change I will sack her or terminate her appointment.

Basically it shouldnt be about changing that person, because a provision must always be made for 'what if they dont change', meaning it must be something I can forgo.

All in all, this is where a principled centered girl will be my preference, all you need do is show her reason why she will change and she will change provided it's a tangible reason.

I agree with your post quite alright, but if people go into relationship without the set mind of changing their partner we will have less frustrations in relationship(Their should be a provision for change though, but it shouldnt be a priority).

Shollypopz: We love you K2039!! kiss
We, I think that doesnt sound appropiate, you should be responsible for your own self.

I love you too, frankly I do, I wish you could open my heart to see that I really do.

freecocoa: This doesn't make any sense to me, how can it be only applicable to people on NL when you made a general statement? There are people I don't like their ways here and I can never want to be like them so what are you saying?
This is where it's a little bit complicated.
I find it hard to hate or dislike someone(probably I have not just met one)

It wont be fair enough for me to judge a person based on his post, without understanding the intent, besides I have not met many of them and I know some intentionally make their comment look stupid probably to generate traffic on their username.

Besides if I have to explain that part of my slum it will take a long epistle on it's own.

Lets just leave it at that.

Shollypopz: Can we stop crucifying and getting all bitter because of what someone has about us in their slum....Jeez, do u know how it makes you look? *pukes*
Only if you saw things from my point of view, I guess again I'm misunderstood.
Infact I specifically filled the slum book just so you know I have nothing against anyone.

jay bee: Any more offtopic posts beyond mine will attract an automatic ban for the user.

You have been warned
I just saw this after I submitted my post it sure took me a lot of time to write that post.
I thought it necessary to respond to the mentions, I will appreciate a pardon though.
RomanceRe: Romance Section's Slum Book :P by k2039: 9:34pm On Dec 17, 2012
With profound gratitude and great humility I appreciate a lot of people who have mentioned my name.
It feels good to know that a couple of them are people I'm just seeing their user handles for the very first time.
It also feels good to know I have a lot of people watching me even though from their post it appears it's for the wrong reason.

As much as I would love to change just to please most of you, giving advice and letting my opinion out is something I enjoy doing and my post reflects my personality in real life.

All in all I'm gratefull and do not hesitate to quote me and tell me I'm wrong when I do.

Yours Sincerly,

caseless: sori, my reply is belated. U are 100% right!

But what i want u to understand is that; our heterogeneity has been our driving force. Only God knws what this country wld have looked like without it. We have somalia more than 95% muslims and speaks somali language...what is their fate today? Rwanda, 89% xtains and, huti and tutsi are same language with jst little difference.....we all knw what went down dere. Also, liberia, sierre leonne, congo...we have problems in such places despite their little differences compare to ours, and stil they cant find peace.

I dont want to blame it on amalgamation cos it was destined to happen. The tribalism and religious bigotry u see today in our politics was used by our leaders as a method to achieve 'divide and rule' tactics.....u see why we should blame the leadership for our woes.....

Thank
I hope you find time to go through the links, just to show that I agree with you totally, they are comments I have made one time or the other as it relates to the subject on ground.

Frankly I agree with your post and you are one of the handles I always ensure I read their comments.

One thing is just that two people can look at thesame thing and see different things and both are still right in their opinion, gringringringringringrin

No offences meant but to be candid you sound like him, post like him, and respond to all topics , just like he does.
I even have this gut feeling that you will attack me for this post. Just the same damn thing he would have done too. *revealing*

I'm happily married with a daughter smiley

But on a more serious note, I write these articles every day and publish them on www.covenantrelationships.org so that people can learn from them. I'm often motivated by the problems and concerns I see people post on Nairaland to search for practical, biblical solutions.
Great work, more grease to your elbow.

That makes you one of the wives I never had.

This is a patholigacl lie, I just consulted the oracle and it said nothing spectacular will happen on that day.
A suggestion for those anticipating the end of the world, on december 21 commiting suicide on that day wont leave them dissapointed, their world will sure end after the suicide.

She certainly wont leave up to her g.mums age, she already attracted a curse by default as a result of her action.
