I have read books that I didn't read past the first chapter,not because they weren't interesting,but I felt it was laziness on my own part.

Reading takes commitment, you just have to be committed to ensuring that you read it, besides make sure you are in a relaxed mode so your brain can comprehend easily without additional stress.

That relationship had failed from the onset, just go for another guy, you cant expect him to be committed when he already won the prize before the commencement of the competition.
