The University of Lincoln doesn't delay CAS if the deposit had been made on time and they have seen the payment. Moreover, this is a rushing period and the numbers of a student applying for CAS is voluminous. Within two weeks you will get it. Mine was 6 days in June. I have gotten my visa in July.Good luck sir.

You will need to do a detailed analysis and explanation of what the Case officer was requesting. Provide honest report to them with all the information in detail to avoid been refused. Good luck.

No , I never got any "non straight forward " mail. Just 7 days long for nothing.

My bank statement was a dollar account, some say that might cause a delay because they verify, I don't know.

I am a frequent traveller and I have had at least 7 visitors UK visas, 3 American, 4 schengen and one Canadian all visitors visas.

Baba if you never get any not straightforward email that means they are really considering your application just give them some time, the rushing is too much, my friend also used foreign currency for 28days and yet we are still waiting almost 17days now. It was Priority and they sent her Notstraightforward mail.

He be like say na standard dey reign now, eye don dey for priority now, my friend did priority for all the family, 2dependants and applicant, kept his money in foreign currency, despite my advice he doesn't need priority for all, since 16th till date nothing has come out.

I'm really lost for words. I have followed almost all the study threads on this nairaland, I tried German study route but I was denied admission, same with Canada, Even Unilag denied me admission... Eventually when I got over 4 offers from schools in USA, Trump's visa people dashed my hopes. Already gave up studying abroad then this UK 2 years post study came up and I decided to give it a try.

I believe your school is outside London, if your school is outside London you would be required to have a maintenance cost of £1,023 per month x 9 months =9207 as an applicant. Your three (3) dependants are £680 per month x9months =6,120 then multiply by 3dependants= 18,360.00. Please plus your tuition fee then your total should be around £45,000.00 x oanda.com exchange rate 45,000.00x572.80 =25m but you must have above 25m due to exchange rate fluctuations. Good luck.

Bro that's the surest best way to have your visa. The pof must be in your account, your brother is not allowed to use his statement for you. He has to transfer to your account. Why is he not willing to help a brother? did you do anything he can't trust you with his money. Plea with him. Good luck.

Boss @justwise I got your point the reason matters a lot, I was referring to her insufficient fund case issue which Is a common major refusal reason ukvi often used in refusing people with economic ties. Fraudulent cases are just not too rampant.

i believe it does affect based on refusal reasons, it might not affect if u were refused based on insuufficient fund, home ties etc but if u were refused based on document forgery, or questionable character or anything that has to do with ur integrity, o boy it will affect o.
i heard something that a school withdrew a student CAS after knowing d basis of his/her previous refusal.. i actually don't followup with the story sha

I am only referring to his refusal which was based on insufficient funds and not forgery. Of course, any forgery refusal is 10 years..Lol now even at that after 10years he can still appeal and if his reason is genuine he will be considered. I know someone with 10years banned that just got his visa with just a good standard British letter.

In 2012 I was refused a visiting Visa because I had my 2 kids in the uk with a visit visa instead of medical visa, of which I submitted my hospital bills for both and a letter saying am not owing. So in 2018 I reapply for a visit visa and was refused again, reason was that they are not sure if I planned coming back. Also reapply 2019 and was refused again, reason been that I used my company acc and am not the only shareholder so that the money wont be available for me. Now that I want to apply for a student visa, will I be refused? And should I attach my hospital bill when am submitting my visa. Please your advice is needed

Student visa is point base system and if you follow the rule your pass refusal will not affect you.

Paga verve is currently suspended since February 2021 by CBN, the only way is through your domiciliary acc or someone pays for u with a foreign card.

I'm telling you, I said it, holidays are not affecting the ukvi decision-making process dept because they are in Sheffield, uk some in Pretoria SA for south africans, once we have done biometric, the digital electronic channel will make them see it, Baba you don break records. The fastest standard visa application so far. Within12 working days, abaahh we go pour some wine, Tell me your package so others can learn how you did yours the whole packaging for everyone.

My sister, thankfully I argued with the admission team of my school in the uk, begged them and write lots of emails appealing and informing them of my difficulties, then God stepped in, they abandoned my BSc transcript and decided to utilize my MBA and Waec as my proof of English language studies on CAS, because the MBA and waec own was now ok with my DOB on passport, my Bsc transcript was only used for analysis purposes. Unilag refused to amend or print a new one when my school mandated me to engaged them for a change.

It's appalling the kind of system we have in Nigeria. You have scorched the whole neco office without help. Tell me any sane person will allow his or her kids to grow up in this wicked and tough system. My brother, just do your best do ielts if no way, or tell them to give you something to back up your certificate if your UK school will allow it, Same thing UNiLAG refused to change my DOB which I begged. Saying they don't alter information on the transcripts especially age. Thank God for helping me out. When I think about the whole Nigeria system it makes me cry I tell you. A friend in uk bought a book on IT after reading for a month he felt like returning it back, he returned it back unscratched, he got his money back, but that cannot happen in Ngeria,Everything is just difficult. I am not even schooling abroad because of money but for a sane mind, a good system that works, where basic things are available for my kids and myself,you don't need to pray and fast. Lol. it is well.

I have been busy and cannot respond to everyone on this issue. Many thanks to those who are genuinely interested in helping and those who are not.

So, I've had a meeting with the school immigration adviser and they advise that I should go for an administrative review but not until I asked UKVI for the document(s) that they deem not genuine. The representative also mentioned that she has never seen any refusal letter where the reason for refusal is omitted. Even though it may be pointing towards POF but better not to jump into conclusion as any document could render the POF inadmissible, such as a marriage certificate etc. Because it is inconclusive and they cannot categorically say this particular document is what they have a problem with, there is a need for me to ask them for further information. I was give some things to aid in my request and all. The school is also going to come in at some point if the request is taken too long. Anyway, I will update you guys once I have further information to provide.

Baba no shaking God will perfect it, I am happy the school immigration team had given some support. It shall end in praise in Jesus name.

Seriously if we could hear from him, experts here could assists. It shouldn't be that bad, A good administrative review will get things right, the earlier the better, he needs to come out and share some info, I still think it wasn't his statement of account. Perhaps he affixes something fake on his passport, or an unnecessary fake document because he said the bank confirms the statement as ok I guess it's more than that. Only he can do a self-analysis if all documents are submitted. May God help us.

Yes. I tried tracking it, it keeps saying my tracking attempt is not successful. I even called Dhl and they said I should contact TLS, that the fault is from their end. We are supposed to receive an email from them when they release it to Dhl. I am so angry sef. It is just giving me unnecessary hypertension. If I had known, I would have collected it this morning.

I have long learnt not to use DHL for any reason. I will rather go there and pick my passport. Please put it in prayer, nothing God cannot do. I heard DHL used to disappoint a lot. I was told of a family dhl misplaced their passport with visa it took them two months to sort it out some 6 months, some they may not see it, but yours is with them ijn. Please everyone if possible pick your passport yourself.

Yes, boss. The purpose is to know the amount you will pay as an IHS fee. Either one or two years, If you click the end date of your course you will see the amount to be paid, also if you wish to also visit their site and you wish to know the amount you will pay, there is a Questionnaire you will fill that will ask you your course duration. I think one year course is 705GBP.
