I just submitted my visa application and I’m about to pay for IHS for my spouse as we are applying together.. my question is, on my dependent’s IHS page, they are asking me for my visa expiry date. What do I put as I only just submitted my own application and don’t have my visa yet

When is your master course duration or when is it going to lapse/ expire? is it a 2years master program? Put the last date. E.g start days 2/09/2021 till 01/09/22. This form the amount of Ihs fee you will pay, in case of two years, it will be increased from the normal fee.

Good evening all, I’m new on nairaland and I really don’t know where to click in order to ask a question. I got my CAS already and everything is going smoothly. My TB test at iom Lagos is in less than a week, guys I’m kinda stressed and nervous. I heard there’s something like uncleared CXR result which eventually leads to producing sputum sample(for AFB) that takes 8weeks to get a result. Now this is my issue, I’m a smoker( abeg make una no judge me) and I make use of cigarettes. So guys, do I have a high chance of getting an unclear CXR result at iom My lungs are okay, no coughs and I’m Sure I don’t have Active TB�…..what are the chances of failing the iom CXR

What the x-ray is looking for is an active or positive TB, if you had a TB shown on your xray result no certificate, but others like abnormal or enlarged heart could subject you to seeing a physician and still collect your certificate which can be use for visa app. But then pls stay off smoking for your own good sir.

I have 5 dependants (4 children and my husband).
My plan is to apply alone and then apply for them afterwards due to fund, but then the POF in my account now can cover for two people (myself and one extra).

Now I am thinking of applying with my last baby (5years) as my POF can accommodate 2 of us.
Do you think it will be risky considering that my husband isn't applying with me?
Or should I apply with my husband and later apply for our kids?
I am just trying to utilize the opportunity of applying for 2 people since I have the fund already.
Please I need opinions.

Don't get it twisted, that means you're a family of 6. I.e 4 children as stated by you then your husband and you making 6. It means your Dependants are 5 and family of 6.
I will advise you apply for both you and your husband. You can put the kids in the best school and get a good nanny. But not easy too because the feeling of a parent towards the children no be here. If possible look for money include the last one along while you both work in the UK you can plan to take others later.

It's simple the Bible in Act 1 v 8 says ye shall receive power after the holy ghost shall come on you and ye shall be my witness in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost part of the world. If members are winning souls to the kingdom of God and depopulating hell I can't imagine what a pastor of a branch will be doing.Do you know the joy in heaven when a soul is save. But people look at money as their base..the man you're talking is rich.

Living faith is not a church for lazy pastors, not a church you can be drinking coffee in the morning and wasting time and resources meant for bringing souls to the kingdom.

God is interested in soul winning and confirms it when he says at the repentance of souls on earth there are joys in heaven. when a soul repents on earth brings joys in Heaven..may God help this generation.

Besides most of this deployment and postings are done by another group of pastors in different units of the church charged with the monitoring of activities of branches in line with Gods agenda, not directly bishop oyedepo, the bishop does not have time for all the things he delegates. He is focused on his core vision and mandate.

They will open except for the public holidays Tuesday and Wed. Besides, they are merely VAC ( visa application centre) they wouldn't close shop because there is a holiday on Tuesday and Wednesday. Lol. When the main decision-making office in Sheffield is open to attend to applications by digital electronic means, what excuse will they present. That Ikeja tls centre should be close..not a good centre if you can't see a good date on appointment you're on a long thing. Anybody thinking of applying should consider Victoria island when filling the form I would rather pay 55pounds than the stress in the Ikeja centre.

Why can't he book air Maroc from Lagos to Manchester direct to allow him relax and enjoy instead of saving money on stress, because he would have been exhausted before entry Manchester , getting a flight from Lagos to London and a train from Victoria station London to Manchester 5hrs could be exhausting, I will never forget how I traveled from Victoria station london to Piccadilly station in Manchester 5hours, I needed to pissed seriously, I was told to pay some penny at the station.i just Remember naija missed those short put for corner lol. Walk-in means you probably have already booked a date which is very far from your application on either Ikeja tls or vi and you are not satisfied you want your appointment now, you wish to walk in by going there early write your ref and name. This is for Either self-service or assisted whichever you selected when filling your appointment form online. So just walk to the centre you already picked at the application and write down your reference number and name, for Ikeja it's complicated enough people due to the rushing period, I heard some people do go as early as 2 am. Because tls resume by 8 am they will pick about 10 or 20names among the walk-in of yesterday they will then continue calling people with appointments. Remember your walk-in will be for the next day, you're looking for the next day. In conclusion, I will advise people to choose Victoria island which is well organised, ikeja is a no no nooooo no no go area except you know any staff..won bad gan.

I think after this sept/October intake it should reduce. Most students would have gone.

Wife maiden name bawooo, how? i believe the best is to put the money in the account which bears her full name same as her international passport. It makes things easy without much explanation. (My opinion though)

Hello bro, if you know you or your dependant don't have TB, just go ahead but ensure you delay your biometric and fill the date of the tls biometric appointment to the date after your TB test result is out. I read TB is very most common in the eastern part of Nigeria and still in other parts but not like the east. Some people may have it and not know. That will not be your portion ijn.

As per the danger involved in applying before TB test, if (God forbidden) any of your dependants or you have TB positive, they will not collect their certificate and certificate is one of the required documents to be submitted, you will need to cancel your visa application to start afresh or after 6months of another TB test confirming negative. So, pls and pls ensure you're in good health and good shape and you don't have TB before doing such.

Let me give you a clue, I had read someone here in this forum, a primary applicant/student was tested negative while the spouse tested positive..the spouse tested for positive was extended for additional months for treatments..this has affected all the travelling arrangement of both. In fact it could affect admission, you start receiving lectures at home if it was the student involved, Thank God he had not submitted an application he could apply alone and take his wife later. So when people say don't rush e get why. The tls appointment can be walk-in not like TB. So try and confirm your TB status first. UK TB test is usually interpreted from the UK and not subjected to any error.It shall end in praise.

Check the details on your CAS. The total tuition fee will be listed and the amount you've paid.

Ok, there is no room for much debate, If you love your Nigeria please stay and enjoy it. If you think you want to go global and experience other better life, more quality than Nigeria move.

But my experience when I attended a party in London, they were coming one after the other asking me why did I want to go back to that country. Me wey I just went for a visit.

One said you said you had a good job in Nigeria but can you spend 1million on a Saturday party in Nigeria.

I just squeezed my face, the other said to me I build houses anyhow in Nigeria because of our spoilt currency.

The other said I make my money here earning 3.5k per month doing care jobs I will never come Nigeria, I buy cars in the US got a car port in Nigeria.

In my opinion, those over there are doing better than us, regardless of the bills they pay, when they struggle for sometimes they will be ok later, our money has gone astray, we like to pretend here, why,? Nigerian can form. Country hard people still dey form say naija is ok. Is all right make una continue.

I only use it for my visa fee, my zenith dollar master card was Fantastic, it's either soft token or hard still fine on both. na one time. I could have also used it for ihs but I allowed my brother in UK to pay with his verve Barclay card.

Yes I think it's possible But don't make payment for ihs and visa fee, when your money is matured for 28 you can then log in again and continue, make payment. This is because the day your payment enters is the date they will use for the oanda currency converter of your pof. So be careful.

It's after you must have filled your visa applications,, paid the ihs and visa fee. It will take you to biometric and booking appointments. Then and then you select the available dates or walk in to choose a date. For now, Ikeja is a no go area..victoria island is a sure bet.

Yes after the visa is granted you can remove it, although some say they still could confirm at the point of entering uk but on rare and suspicious occasions.. if you can leave it till you reach UK, pls do whichever is convenient.

Boss, it's so unfortunate you break an obvious rule your payment and completed online application form before pof 28days is not good, I just wish you can cancel and reapply if possible, because your pof is not up to 28days. Nonetheless, Please try get others opinion and let's see how it can be fixed.

@justwise ,Scooby and others what can he do?, This forum is very informative, you will see people mentioning it over and over the importance of this 28days pof before application. I also got some info from a reliable source that if you apply before your pof is matured is an automatic refusal. (My opinion)

You're welcome madam. Lol. Pls don't pay while counting 28days ooo, it means you're applying before 28days rule, just keep your pof first for 28days unchanged (standard rule) after that on the 29th you can print, then apply online, make payment for IHS and your visa fee. The truth is that a visa application site can tempt one to just easily complete the form, make payment, biometric without considering the availability or maturity of the pof..which can deny you your visa. However, if it was the TB test one failed or forgot to do for one reason or the other while others are intact, you can still beg and gate crash because your pof after printed can still last for 31 days.

Yes, it's about $1040 or 705GBP per person. If you have 4 dependants multiply 705x4. You can pay with your domiciliary acc or tell someone to pay for you from the UK because our Naira master card cannot work.

Hi, I get your point and it makes sense but there are exceptions to this order. For example, in my case, my school requires POF to issue CAS. Some schools like University of Bolton require both POF & TB certificate.

The important thing is to make plans ahead of time so that you don't waste time & resources, though, honestly, sometimes it might be inevitable just try as much as possible avoid or limit it.

Yeah, same thing we are saying bro, even at that few exceptional cases, one can still plan and know what his/her school requires. Then work out its modalities.

Hmmmn while I get your point, I don’t necessarily agree. I had sorted out TB since March but didn’t get CAS till June. I think it’s better to plan early once you’ve made a decision however it goes without saying that first things should be done first

Yes boss, I put it there as my opinion, but need to ask this, what use is a TB test already booked without admission or no feasible clear unconditional offer.One thing at a time still my best.

In as much as we are in a hurry for September intake, we need to take some precautions. There are rules guiding this student visa. The timing is very important because each documents has it's own time.TB,pof, Cas. The Proof of fund is supposed to have settled for at least 28 days before your visa application. You cannot do your biometric without a visa application and you cannot do a visa application without meeting the proof of fund of 28days first, Any variance to this or you applied before pof is 28days is an automatic refusal. Same way lots of people were booking TB in april for sept/oct intake so earlier enough that the CAS was not out, they needed to then change the university. It should be one thing at a time, we won't waste resources ooo.
All these rushings are not required if one seized his time and plans ahead. Jan intake start now, sort schools and admission unconditional offer first, make your payment deposit for CAS, then TB, 28days can begin once others are complete, then apply after 28days within full 31 days of maturity of pof, I hate fire brigade approach, Check which one do you want to apply early, sept, Jan, may. You start on time. (My opinion)

Don't use Zenith bank online generated statement. It's not designed like the GTB and others with a signature. Pls, print a hard copy statement signed by the bank.
