I Think the condition is called foetus-in-fetu or something like that, not sure. Have seen part of d documentary on TLC. Similar thing happened to a man in India, hour had to carry his parasitic twin around for over forty years before it was finally removed. Wonder why such birth abnormalities occur mostly in Asia. |
We all call her mummy, but I call her Iya Ibeji for obvious reasons ![]() |
Interesting piece there sir. Nigerians have such a poor reading culture that sometimes I wonder what motivates writers to keep doing their thing, must be the passion. I was actually surprised to learn that most Nigerians prefer hard copies to ebooks with the prevalence of android phones and tablets that can make reading more convenient. RIP to the legend ![]() |
Jazakallah Khayran for the article. Since when has observing the 5 pillars of Islam not enough to please Allah (swt)? Must they waste innocent lives to gain Allah's pleasure? So sad to see promising youths brainwashed into carrying out certain people's selfish interests. ![]() |
So I was at the meeting this afternoon. Here's how it went: Arrived a little bit late, around 1pm in time for the MD's (Deolu Akinyemi) address. He spoke about the up coming event slated for next week thursday entiled 'Coporate Deception (achieving without Oga at the top)'. It will feature a vulcaniser,a barber and a welder. Each has been immensely successful in his trade and has been able to achieve things most people with white collar jobs could only dream of. The seminar is slightly different from the regular thursday meetings, admittance would cost N2500. I managed to snag 2 tickets . Deolu also reminded us of the importance of saving in an escrow account over a lengthy period of time. This requires discipline, more than any other thing. Latest Developments: HEALTHY OVENS ARRIVE!!! The much awaited a2w halogen ovens finally arrived today, much to d relief of the members that have made payments since last year. A2W ESTATES: Work is on going at the Iju Ishaga site. Investors would get a chance to check out the property by April ending. Other sites are coming soon to cities such as Ilorin, Port Harcourt, Abuja and Ibadan. Interested buyers can make a one off payment or pay in instalments. |
@goldincome Just found out from my ogas at the top that tomorrow's event won't be requiring an I.V afterall. Feel free to come over to Our Place at No. 7, olufunmilola okikiolu street, off toyin street, Ikeja for an unforgettable experience. Meeting starts at 12 noon |
True talk jare. The sooner our people realise that fat is NOT a sign of 'good living', the healthier we'll be as a nation. You don't need to register at an expensive gym to be fit, simple diet control and regular exercise would do the trick. Prevention is better than cure. |
You're right, these days you can come across some 13 year olds who can't even do their laundry or wash dishes. I remember doing my laundry by the time I was in j.s 1 (10 yrs old) and I've been doing the dishes way before then. I blame the parents who would not make these kids do the chores, instead house helps are made to clean up after them. My kids are still really young, but I hope to instill the attitude of hard work in them when they're older, they must be made to understand that you make d mess, u clean it up. |
Here it is...

Brand new from A2w Nigeria: The Verizon Tab. Imagine you can have a tablet that will have USB so you can copy files in and out with flash drive and even connect external hard drive to it. Imagine if you can work on the go e.g. create, edit and view Excel/Word/PowerPoint documents, view your AutoCAD drawing on the go and print wirelessly. Imagine if you can insert GSM SIM card in the same tablet and make phone calls, send SMS, chat with Skype Video and browse anywhere. Imagine you can connect it directly to your TV via HDMI cable that comes with it, imagine you can charge it with your blackberry charger and car charger. Imagine you can copy files directly from your laptop. Also imagine that it comes bundled with child educational applications and games, so your son or daughter can have a go at it as well. What if you can even watch DSTV live, African magic, CNN, Super sport 3 and many more on the same device without paying for new subscription. Imagine that you can use an Internet modem with the device as an additional internet source, and convert the internet asset into an internet hotspot for 5 other computers Imagine if the tablet is very affordable, and best of all, imagine that it comes with a Business Pack application that gives you a personalized website, a tracking centre, online marketing tools and an opportunity to earn extra income from building a business with the device. Package Inclusions: *The Verizon Tab *Folder and Stylus *HDMI Cable *Ear Piece *USB Adaptor *Direct to Laptop connector *Children Education Materials and Games *Business pack: Business Tracking Centre, Personalized Website, Online marketing tools and access to other extra income opportunities. |

@OP. You're whining and crying that pregnant women and nursing are over hyped abi? Nonsense to you. You complain that men are only given 2days leave, what do you want to do with 3months 'paternity' leave? Breastfeed? Change diapers? Take care of a fragile soul even though you're not fully recovered from pregnancy/delivery? If only you could spend a day in the shoes of a pregnant woman, then you'll agree that women are UNDER hyped in Naija society. SMH for the unfortunate soul that would end up being your wife. |
. U don enter am Oº°˚˚˚°º. |
. They should pay nah. Or did you leave an Abj address? Actually, its their appointment letter am waiting for jor. What's all this delay ![]() |
bencham: Yoruba and their ego.. Simple I DONT KNOW would have saved this man from all this embarassment. Tomorrow they will tell us they are the most educated in the country. Hmmm... Commandant Shem u realy represent your people well here o. To think he is a graduate of UNILAG in the 80s gash....!Must you bigots bring tribe into everything? Go and learn your regional geography and Nigerian names the man is not Yoruba, he's Idoma (Benue state). Take your display of ignorance elsewhere. |

Didn't u attend the 2011 interview? If u did then you'll surely get ur moola ![]() |
I went for the interview from Lagos nd they paid M̶̲̅ε̲̣ 30k. I got 2 different alerts, one 10 the other 20k. Probably cos I went for 2 interviews. |
Did them all, still do #3 every now and then . The day my folks found hundreds of dried, rotten pieces of amala under/behind d sofa hen...see flogging dat day ![]() |
So sad to see him leave ss. Soccer Africa's ratings gonna drop like crazy, heard about d Gaye-Kalusha beaf during AFCON. Its very strange a promising broadcaster would leave an international platform for a local one, something is definitely fishy here. Wishing him all d best ![]() |
Yes, I just got the alert, its for d 2011 interview not this recent one. |
Someone just informed M̶̲̅ε̲̣ dat his account was credited by NNPC |
