Otuwe, I replied your pm yesterday afternoon. Yes I stay in Lagos. Don't tell M̶̲̅ε̲̣ you didn't receive the transport fare from the first interview |
@Maran1983 and Ona2. Amen!!! Thanks a lot . @Julicoka Hey ya, I remember what I went through aith my boy at this stage. Are you bottle feeding or spoon feeding? You can try one if the other doesn't work. The baby is just confused at the sudden change of events. Just do it small small. She can't change lyk dat overnyt. |
Also got the email from a Gloria. I wrote something like this : Good day ma, In response to the email I received yesterday, I hereby accept the terms and conditions on the letter of employment. Attached to this mail is the original letter. Thank you ma. My Name. |
I knew it! There's gotta be a scientific reason why my 2 month old was screaming her lil lungs out right in front of her sleepin daddy. He didn't even flinch . God has programmed the bodies and minds of women to be caring. All this hormone this, reflex that are all handiworks of God. |
Its like everyone is threatening naija's peace. Lemme add my own join. Nigeria will NOT know peace if I don't get a fully furnished house in banana island. Don't forget my Rolls o or else...... I don talk my own. ![]() |
I've seen the mail, thanks. I'll post any other hall I came across in d future. |
Yes Oº°˚˚˚°º. Am waiting for u guys o. Its well. Pray we all meet at the towers come 20th. |
Wow. Ok, didn't know that. I've been trying to logon to d site. How do I go about it? |
This has got to be one of the funniest threads on nl. Okija juju's visit to the 'zoo' ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() www.nairaland.com/1064414/nigeria-52-celebration-port-harcourt-zoo This post especially cracked M̶̲̅ε̲̣ up ![]() yuzedo: Omo, forget story. No better Zoo for Naija at all! |
Hey Mamas in d house . Join M̶̲̅ε̲̣ in celebrating as my little boo turns 2 today . May the Almighty continue to protect our LOs and may he preserve our lives to witness their greatness. Amin. |
^^^as u can see from the other posts, introducing solids to babies isn't so easy especially if u've done EBF. Just follow the advices above. Buy rice cereals, u can make guinea corn pap and mix with b.reast milk. Also very light semo and amala with ewedu. When he's a little older u can cook peeled beans with a little palm oil and titus fish. My lil man also enjoyed banana+ apple puree and canned Gerber foods. It might not be so easy at first. Its trial and error with babies ![]() |
Thanks a lot. According to d letter, am to resume at d towers in Abuja on the 20th of May. Pay package is tight, . Think there'll be a training at abuja (it was called on-boarding). Don't know how long it'll last. Pray u guys receive ur good news by tomorrow. |
Guys I just received my email!!!!!. It came in this evening arnd 6.30 pm. Wishing you all the best ![]() |
^^^Anything new from your source? Just check your email regularly cos am sure they'll send emails and texts first. |
There's definitely some bad blood between mama and son, but I think she should have respected herself and not have to resort to selling her son's stuff without even asking him first. Btw, didn't I see it somewhere that he got a $3 million home for his in-laws Got d feeling that his wife and mama are not exactly BFFs. |
I've seen d mail. I'll do that ASAP. Thanks |
I guess calory counting helps a lot in weight loss, my sis even downloaded an app for that. The way I make fun of her ehn ![]() ![]() . But does it work for those doin EBF? I've also lost abt 6kg (didn't gain much in the first place) and am almost back to my prebaby shape, just finding it difficult to lose the last few kgs to achieve my dream weight **sighs** |
Thanks sir . No am not the manager, but I can give you their contacts if you are interested. |
Wow. Hope its true. May Allah answer oer prayers and include us amongst the chosen ones. Sheeesh! We've been at this for almost 3 years. |
Interesting. Imagine I was actually feeling my 3 1/2 month old's nose to see if it has a bridge ![]() Erm... Abt point 7, both my kids were born on a weekend o. So are my nephew and niece. Not so sure abt dat one. |
@Picomon. The name of the events centre is Our Place. Within the compound are the various halls listed in the original post. I don't really have a clearer picture but here's one during a program held recently.
|
Wow really? How certain is your source? Let's be very sure before getting our hopes up o |
Only in lagos (Naija) will u see 6 ATM machines in a bank and only 2 are working. The rest will be 'out of service'. |
Sexymomma, are u talking about something women can invest in on the side or something they can do on a full time basis ? Am a FT mum, am looking into ways of making passive income, but what I observed is that in order to make substantial returns you've got to invest heavily in a profitable venture. But with no steady source of income, its a bit of a challenge. It could also help if women can learn a trade in addition to their degrees like baking, decorating etc |
agiboma: so how is everyone doing, as for me ive already lost 20 pounds and coutingWow ![]() |
Dem never ban dis guy? . Recycling the same story virtually every month hoping to bait poor graduates. Shame on u. |
Mt neighbour told M̶̲̅ε̲̣ about a friend who just landed a job at Jumia as a marketer. Starting salary is 44k plus commissions on every sale made ( don't know what %). She was also given a Samsung galaxy tab and was told to make a minimum of 40 sales per month |
Una no go kill pesin with ur comments . I think d OP is messing with yall. Check out his other posts, his english isn't so woeful. |
My daughter also did that at birth, I used to close her lips and push her tongue in with my fingers. I was told I probably didn't compress my nip.ples while breastfeeding . Just recently, at 3 months, I noticed she has changed!! Her lips are always shut now ![]() @baby don't let this habit grow with him. My gal's tongue was stuck to her palate, that was why she couldn't push in then. The docs assured us it should be unstuck in s few months but if it doesn't, we shud brng her in so they can cut that small stuff that attaches d tongue to d palate. Thank God it corrected itself. |
Wow shocking reality. It bugs M̶̲̅ε̲̣ everytime I take my kid to the clinic and I specifically ask for a paediatrician only to be told they have none and I should manage whichever doctor available. My hospital has just one consulting paed that comes once a week . Why are our med students avoiding that field? Isn't it also lucrative? ![]() HIV in children is not under control inNow the above statement is not being fair to healthcare practitioners in Nigeria. A lot is being done to prevent mother to child transmission. Most LGs have health centres that enlightens HIV+ mothers to be about prevention of MTC transmission. Of course more can be done, but at the moment its above average. |
Well, I don't know if the salary has been reviewed, but last I heard, it was 55k after taxes. Also heard there's a 3 month probation period, where new recruits won't get paid. Just hope all of us that took part in the training gets the letter. I don't trust these govt peeps too much mago mago. |
Really? Let God's will be done. Hope we all get letters. Truth is some of us would have gotten better offers and won't even answer. In reality its not d best job out there but at least its wayyy better than none. We've been at this for almost a year now. Wishing everybody success. |
