Ok, let's be serious now. @thormiwa, your girl isn't safe o, 18days to her period means she's probably at the peak of her ovulation cycle, the eggs can still be fertilised. @lover-hater, since she saw her last period on d 2nd of may, then she'll most likely see her period in a few days time. Chances of pregnancy are low at this stage. What's with the sudden carelessness sef? ![]() |
Na wa o, so you just got off the lady and came straight to nl abi? These nl addicts sef . Congrats in advance baba ibeji . |
Abeg Oº°˚˚˚°º, no dstv where I am make una pity pesin put pics here nah. Won't get to watch till prolly nxt month . |
Does the 250 people per district include those that did project 355? I think we were about 450 overall that did the final exams (still wondering why they brought strange ppl from nowhere a week to exams ) |
This can be so annoying. Madam , now is not the time to confront him. Wait till he comes for another 'quick' loan then u dish it to him. Some people just have the notion that as long as you go to work everyday, then you're super comfortable and you probably don't need the money. Lemme share my mums experience. Her cousin came crying that her son's 2nd term fees has not been paid and he would not be made to sit for the on-coming exams. She was really sobbing that she needed 120k ASAP and would pay at the end of the month. My mum, at first, criticised her for sending her son to such an expensive school when she couldn't afford it (as a single mum). But she kept begging that she'll return the money before month's end. So out of pity, mum borrowed her d money. The kid was in j.s 3 at the time. Now he's going to s.s. 2. Most annoying thing is I got to find out through my BIL in his class that this same kid's got an iphone and psp . Now she avoids my mum like fire. She doesnt realise that one day she might need 5k to save her life and she won't have anyone to turn to. |

Hey ya, my 4 month old's hair isn't long at all . Wish she has d kind of hair I could plait. My gal pal has 2 girls and she uses colourful rubber bands to pack d hair into about 10 places. She waits till they're asleep b4 embarkin on d mission ![]() |
I remember now, thanks. RIP to him ![]() |
Are they all S/Africans?. Someone pls remind M̶̲̅ε̲̣ d late actors name. His lookalike is SPOT ON!!!! |
Congrats on ur new bundle of joy. May she be a source of blessing to her parents and peers. ![]() @ weddingfever: its ok to wear spanks in your 2nd trimester , but if you've got a small waist, u might not need it as u won't rily be showing. And please make sure your diet include everything u listed. Not just cos of weight gain, but also cos of d baby. Better to have a small healthy baby than a chubby one that will tear tins . |
Can't believe I read it all. Imagine there were only 5 comments when I started reading. Shoulda booked space ![]() |
Ok, lemme give it to u. The new pics looks like d celebs. U try small . |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() . This too funny. Look alike ke? More like celebrity wannabes |
dominique: Such a brillant dancer and choreoghrapher, he didn't have to stoop so low cos he has fallen on hard times. Why didn't he come out with this during the trial? Infact, he was one of the people that stuck up for him then. He and macaulay culkin said mj never did anything of the sort while they were in neverland. If he was lying then, then he should be arrested and charged for perjury and obstruction of justice (cos he was a witness at the trial). I'm afraid he has ruined what's left of his career, what a dummass.GBAM!!!!! The only part of ur post I don't quite agree with is d 'brilliant dancer'. His dancers always had d worst scores on So u think u can dance ![]() |
I've not been able to call her again, am not in lagos right now, else I wud have gone to maryland myself to confirm . @oluemmakay. No be fight nah. The person I called works in the tutor-general's office in district 2.I got her num from my mum who is also a lagos state tisha . I can't imagine why she'll deliberately give M̶̲̅ε̲̣ false info. I'll give her another call on monday. |
Sorry for my late reply, its been a busy day. So I called someone in district 2 perm sec's office. She told M̶̲̅ε̲̣ she hasn't seen any list in their office. And she's not aware of its existence. I'll call her again b4 d end of d wk to see if there's news. |
Okay so I finally made the soup yesterday. In addition to d smoked fish, I added periwinkle and soft shelled crabs. It was YUM . Thanks again ![]() Wanted to upload the pic, but d site is saying its too big. Maybe when I resize it sha. |
U welcome dear. Wish u the same |
Am also from district 2. Since they're recruiting 1500 and we were about 450 dat did d training, then most of us should get a call. I ask around for info on the list. |
@ x_xresie. Thanks ![]() Vivichocs, both courses are ok, but are there any career prospects fir a toxicologist in naija? Industrial bch sounds more realistic in this setting. You could also consider medical lab science. There are lots of job opportunity in that field. Lots of hospitals and labs around. Whichever way, having a postgraduate Degree would boost your chances at job hunting. |
You're right. God does work in mysterious ways. I had already lost hope on the recruitment when the text got in on a particularly difficult day. In addition to a Bsc in biochem, I also have an Msc in Bch and a certification in HSE (Health, safety and environment). The interview questions are basically your knowledge on NNPC, some personal questions based on what's on your cv and a little on current affairs. They asked M̶̲̅ε̲̣ questions like ' name your weaknesses' and tell us 1 interesting thing about you' in the first interview. I didn't answer those properly due to nervousness. So be relaxed, learn about the company and above all, learn about yourself. |
@vivchocs Thanks. NNPC recruitment process is a bit long o. Every year or so, the vacancy comes out, be on the look out. you'll fill an online application and you'll be called for the test. I wrote mine back in 2011. The format was G-mat and section B relating to your course. Mind you, about 60,000 people wrote this test nationwide and about 4000 got above the pass mark, so you have to start practising your gmats. Interview was in August 2011, I wasn't too confident then sha, so I wasn't so surprised when I didn't get the appointment with those that resumed in June 2012. Fortunately, I got an unexpected email for another interview in december 2012. I went better prepared and the rest is history . In summary, here's what you need to do. 1). Be on the lookout for the vacancies online. 2). Prepare very well for your tests and pray you make the cut off 3). Be confident and well spoken for your interview panel and above all 4). Pray! Pray!! PRAY!!! |
Where are Murtalaa, Kazala and others nah? Come make we kno how e dey go nah. |
Thanks a lot hazureal. I'll surely follow d directions and tell u how it goes. Cheers. ![]() |
Well I don't know if it was just plain luck or the shea butter I applied during pregnancies. After 2 babies, I aint got no stretch marks. I also wore a girdle tight during my 2nd pregnancy. Helps keep the skin in place. @ sexyshe Trust M̶̲̅ε̲̣, the last weeks or pregnancy are d slowest. Time just crawls by and you'll be impatient for your baby to come. So follow Tjskii's advice and hang on if your job isn't so stressful. You'll need the extra weeks to take care of your bundle of joy. |
Wow . How many fp topics dey reash pg 5 sef. Raide on gal. Supssribing . |
Hi all. So I recently got these amunututu leaves from a nice neighbour's veg gardens. Problem is I'm not familiar with it at all. The leaves are short and broad, I was told they are similar to water leaves (gure). Is there anyone out there that can give M̶̲̅ε̲̣ a simple procedure on how to prepare d stew? Heard you can add bitter leaves to it. Awaiting ur response. Fenks yall ![]() |
The parents could be victims in all these, they still look suspicious to M̶̲̅ε̲̣. Am glad these shameless baby factories are being exposed. Hope they are severely dealt with. |
Touching. Really inspired by this. |
Olikinyo2: that is not enough evidence. Infact she can breastfeed the babies even if she is not their original parent, i have seen such a cases. How is that possible? How can someone who has never been pregnant breastfeed? Pray tell. I won't be surprised if these 'twins' are not even related. Probably they were bought/stolen from 2 different people. The rot and decay of moral standards in this country has gotten to an alarming rate. We keep saying our leaders are evil, we the people nko? Thank God there still a few God fearing ones like Tanidabi and others out there. |
I've sent the mail to that address. Have you seen it? |
I totally concur with miss Ope. The letters would arrive when we're least expecting them, just like I got my letter from NNPC retail just 2 days ago after 2 years of hoping and praying. I was totally blind sighted, thank God I've already had dinner or else ehn . This May is gonna be a month of testimony for us all. Congrats again to miss Ope. |
Wetin be this on again on the reply page. I have to read an epistle just to post a 3 line reply? O.Y.O. @ otuwe, I just sent you another pm through your profile. Hope you receive it this time. If not, post your current email address here. Dominique is right, the might have sent the letter to that email addy. Also did you drop your account information at the first interview? |
