Car Talk › Re: Please, What Is The Size Of Serpentine Belt Of Pontiac Vibe 2004 by kablooee: 12:50pm On Dec 07, 2015 |
Siena: Partially correct.
There are 2 different engines fitted to the 2004 Pontiac Vibe. Both are 1.8L I4 DOHC 16V. But they are different, both in design and output. 1ZZ vs 2ZZ.
The serpentine belts fitted to the same engine can differ, based upon the driven accessories - aircon, power steering pump (some have EPS instead of the traditional hydraulic vane pump).
The 1ZZ and 2ZZ accessory belts are not the same. This is why I prefer to know what engine is fitted. If he doesn't know the engine code, he can take a picture of the engine, and post it here. Noted. Tnx |

I can't say about the other vehicles but hilux has the most rugged suspension any vehicle can have. Beats Tundra, Tacoma, f150 etc. Read about the design and you'll be amazed. |

This is the power seat memory module. If your seat memory is still working using the buttons on the door then it was probably replaced and left there which I doubt since it wasn't done by a KZ. |

Starter motor. Your vehicle will still crank properly if you have immobilizer issue with your vehicle. So replace starter motor (kick starter) |

Ok I can help you. Just post vin and confirm location. My only issue right now is the fact that you claim your ignition comes up. Except u mean another thing when you said lights on dash comes up. Can you clarify that please.
Check this and get back to me so at least I can help you temporarily start the vehicle to get u back home.
1. Does the remote unlock n lock the doors? 2. Is the steering open or locked. 3. Does ignition actually come up? All lights on the instrument cluster lit? 4. VIN
*we definitely have to verify ownership before anything.
It is most likely ESL failure but I don't want to work based on assumption. |

GAZZUZZ: Your engine ecm requires an update.
Also check and replace vtec sensor.
The vtec sensor controls the variable cylinder management.
As for the temp sensor code, its the secondary temp sensor located on lower side of radiator. Well done. |
Car Talk › Re: Please Does Anyone Know Where To Locate Diagnostic Port In Nissan Almera 2014? by kablooee: 2:32pm On Apr 23, 2015 |
The Obd port is located under the steering wheel on the left.
Sultan may know a lot about cars but very little when it comes to security and key programming. No offense.
Nissan keys can never be ordered from dealer programmed ready to start. However it can be ordered cut to open doors and the ignition barrel.
2. You do not need two keys to program any Nissan.
3. Keys can be lost by any careless person even one day after vehicle purchase
4. Nissan actually changed the location of the DLC from 2012 in that model.
5. "hacking" unfortunately of all vehicles, Nissan seem to be one of the most useless when it comes to key programming. Once you have the pin u can do anything and that's why you find lots of "kazeem" doing Nissan.
Finally you don't have to order to key cut from dealer or from the manufacturer. We can provide keys cut from just your VIN even when you have a total lockout. Some keys come ready programmed and some don't. |

Raymie: That Sequoia is most likely the same model year as yhur Tundra. Its not a 2005. Anyways, yhu have yhurself a good deal. Just do the necessary checks and if all pan out well, then go for it. Maintenance shouldn't be different from yhur Tundra's cause one is a version of the other. Dunno which. Is Your same as Yhur? You same as Yhu? Yourself same as Yhurself? |

I contribute locally to Google maps. I use sygic on my HTC m8 and Google on my tab. Don't have much time now to give pros n cons of both but at the moment, in Nigeria, Google map is way ahead of sygic. Sygic is improving but they need more local data and probably local offices here for data collection. |

Car Talk › Re: Does Camry 1998 Model Uses Gear Oil? by kablooee: 7:36am On Mar 13, 2015 |
DECOtech: Some old Camry drivetrains come with a very rare configuration where a drive axle is attached to the transmission instead of being incorporated into it (to have a Transaxle). So, in the case of the rare configuration, there's a separate compartment meant for axle fluid (not ATF).
For the heat in the foot well, I have a question. -Do you usually have coolant shortage?
If your answer is yes, then I suspect there's a coolant leak from the heater system inside the car therefore heat from hot coolant is what you feel.
Another possible suspicion could be that there's an opening in your vehicle's firewall large enough to allow heat from the engine bay sip into the car. Nice one. |
