Lennycool: You're part if the problem. Why should they kill people that did them no harm and were just living on their own? Even the kids?
Why? Why can't you ask yourself why an all powerful and loving God would command something like this? Same questions I asked myself for years tho but recently realized that the Romans are to blame for such confusions. There are texts that properly explains what happened during the exodus that was altered out of the Bible. Its an evidence that God will do jus anything for those he loves and loves him also; God has emotions. Jacob forced God into making a promise which he had to keep at any cost. Killing both kids of the parthian people is questionable no doubt but we (humans are programmed to die anyway) - And what now make those kids innocent? (the fact they're kids?) Talk as if killing is not part of human DNA when you ATHEISTS support ABORTION . The various times Israel had been raided, killed, taken to captivity, you wondered why God stayed and watched? You OP what makes u think you deserve the breathe u aff or the life u inhabit?!?! Yeah I know you just popped into existence - You call yourselves atheists buh y'all obsessed with God mtcheeeew :/ :/ |

Lmao People bcom atheist because they don't see anything that proves or a presence like in other myth that a God should prove his existence... Even if I am God I will do the same "Sit down and watch" Was watching this new series WESTWORLD and tot this must be how everything we see came to be. Nothing cannot jus come to be randomly, if it was so randomly as d Dumbass scientist claim then Dogs would be giving birth to cats and Weasels which should be "Random". Even Einstein himself believed in a higher power a he liked and bought the idea of God even if he wasn't religious. Man has messed up this world even the Bible was totally altered, books removed and teach their own belief as a religion. And what makes people with no religion believe they have no religion? when even their atheism is a religion (they worship free will)... Nothing is the way it seems we all have to worship something. Intelligence ends here on earth, we're all in this little terrestrial ball made by someone (like in WESTWORLD), We ever wonder why we so vulnerable, if we came to be randomly, we should be immortal, able to command our own fate and design our own ability yet these people say being religious is dumb, Smh |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Trump Vs Clinton: When Did Nigerians Start Having Opinion In American Politics? by kachi19: 6:49am On Nov 09, 2016 |
TonyeBarcanista: On August 11, 2008, Madam Ndi Okereke-Onyiuke, the Chairperson of Nigeria Stock Exchange organised a fundraising dinner to support United States Presidential hopeful and Democrat Nominee, Senator Barrack Obama. In the said event that was help in Lagos, more than $630,000 (N94.5 Million) was raised to support Obama's candidacy. This event was held WITHOUT approval of Mr Obama, and also it was against the laws of America. Organisers held the event at a point when the average Nigeria could not boast of $2 in a day. In fact, Obama eventually won, but Nigeria got no special benefit of his Presidency. He was elected as the President of United States of America, and not anywhere else.
Like 2008, Nigerians are now concerned about the forthcoming USA Presidential contest between Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democrat Nominee Hilary Clinton.
In fact, I have seen various facebook pages, whatsapp groups and those of other forum run by Nigerians to solicit support for either of the candidates. It is ironical that most of these Clinton/Trump campaigners have never left the shores of Nigeria since they were born not to talk of possessing the right to vote in America. Some of them that are residents in America are either temporal residents or illegal residents. The negligible few that are citizens of America don't disturb the peace of Nigerians with the Trump/Clinton noise as they are concerned with their lives there.
It was laughable to read a piece that quoted Prof Wole Soyinka of threateing to destroy his American Green Card should Trump get elected. I laughed and ask, does Soyinka opinion or emotional feelngs now important in the scheme of things in America? Of what value is his Green Card to the American economy or even an average American? "na who even know Soyinka for America? Which American has his Green card helped for him to assume that Americans will be swayed by his emotional preference?
Though I am not for spiting Wole Soyinka or any Nigerian, but I think it is embarrassing for Nigerians to leave important pressing issues at home front just to appear important by joining the American campaign when their sermon are targeted at Nigerians with no single voting value in America. Beside, the emergence of either candidate will not help Nigeria out of recession. Americans are for America's interest, Nigerians should concern about Nigeria's interest.
A friend once told me that USA election affects the world, my reply to him was, same with the election of Nigeria, but should USA make wrong decision, they will bear the consequences and go down for another to rise. Same is applicable to every countries.
Finally my compatriots, let the truth be told, our opinion as Nigerians and non America citizens DOES NOT count in the American election. Let us at least learn to mind our business. I will end with two portions of the Bible:
"Interfering in someone else’s argument is as foolish as yanking a dog’s ears."- Proverbs 26:17
"Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before."- 1 Thessalonians 4:11

LiberaDeus: Dont you think you are portraying your god as wicked. What can a man do for 80 years of existence that will warrant over a 100 billion years of lynching and torture. Does that sound loving and kind. Or are gods ways too much for me or any man to fathom I'm not a good Christian tho but so many times I believe God isn't fair. cos we have so many good people that have died, they strived to stay in the good side of the world tho they don't know God but according to la Bible they'll go to hell. I think that's the essence of dying; for eternal rest. Good people deserve a paradise when they die cos it takes a lot to lead a good life.... And Christians who didn't blot out a sin before dying, likely going to hell? maybe, maybe not! No one can tell. A Child of God who has been a devoted Christian, one day had a hot fight with wife and she accidentally killed him? well, Ahdunno wat he's gonna tell God this is how he died oh... Reading this ur post, its obvious that you're a semi-atheist searching indirectly for God's existence. And its also clear you only know so little about DNA and the wonderful craft mystery of the universe. Who created God and The God who created bla bla bla u asked. Is not a question we're meant to know. Outside this terrestrial ball, what's there? why is human still finding difficulty or complexity in exploring the Universe, How can something random form a solar system that a little breach in its molecular formation would end anything called life? What you should ask yourself is why are we here in a ball, where we have to live like we're in the hunger games. I'm not a good Christian but when I try to compare a human to a computer: how a computer is made to do (what someone from the 1970s) would say its an impossible thing and how it was made of perfection like the human being, That is superb master craft. The world is filled with beautiful things like the snowflakes and when u use snow flakes to be little our creator I was so disappointed in you cos I expected something better. As a science personnel I have had several of these Science Vs Religion arguments and there's so much to talk about and better facts like the difference in skin color and race instead of a snow flakes, common mehn...
