An original copy of Princess Stella Oduah curriculum vitae obtained by SaharaReporters today reveals that the embattled Minister of Aviation never obtained an MBA degree from any university in the United States as was previously claimed on the official page of Nigeria’s Ministry of Aviation as well as her biography on Wikipedia.

The CV only makes reference only to the fact that Ms. Oduah possesses a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from St. Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, Virginia in 1982.

In the CV, Ms. Oduah also claimed to have an honorary Ph.D degree in Business Administration from “Pacific Christian University Glendale, California” in 1998, but SaharaReporters is so far unable to verify that information.

A preliminary investigation of "Pacific Christian University" shows it does not exist as one of the 93 accredited theology schools in California. The nearest result, by name and geography, is "Azusa Pacific University", which is in Azusa, not Glendale. There is as yet no information about the status of honorary Ph.Ds at that institution

Mrs. Oduah had carefully padded her qualifications by claiming to have earned a “Masters Degree in the United States” after completing her Bachelors. In the edited official profile on the Aviation ministry’s website, Mrs. Oduah now claims she “received her Bachelors and Masters Degree (in Accounting and Business Administration respectively) in the United States.”

The citation does not mention the college where she obtained both degrees, more so because in the last 24 hours since SaharaReporters broke the news, Ms. Oduah has made several efforts both on Facebook and Wikipedia to remove any word linking her to St. Paul’s College, a historic black college where in previous posts and newspaper reports she claimed she received a degree.

St. Paul’s College closed down in June 2013.

The new President of the college, Millard D. “Pete” Stith Jr. told SaharaReporters yesterday that the college is working to confirm if Ms. Oduah graduated from the college as she claims, stating that the college registrar had been on leave due to illness. Mr. Stith categorically reiterated that the college has never offered a Masters’ degree in its 125-year existence.

SaharaReporters has learned that the Minister is working to change her story line working with her aides from Brazil where she is currently on vacation.

Since SaharaReporters broke the news about the certificate scam, Ms. Oduah and her aides have officially kept mum over the revelation. Instead they have embarked on using Facebook and the comments sections of various websites into which they sign anonymously to make the spurious claim that she simply didn't state where she obtained her Masters degree. They also suggest that she is being targeted because of her ethnicity.

The Presidency has not commented on the latest scandal.

Unfazed at the controversies trailing allegations in the social media regarding her claim to have attended St. Paul College in the United States of America (USA) as a post graduate student, the minister of aviation, Princess Stella Oduah is shrugging off the controversy.

Acccording to an online media, saharareporters, Oduah's aides are also reported to be doctoring the contents of relevant websites containing her academic qualifications as a means to cover up the story in the social media suggesting that she did not attend the school.

Efforts to get some of her aides to comment on the issue by LEADERSHIP failed yesterday as repeated calls to their phones were unanswered just as they refused to reply to a text message sent to them.

The minister is said to be in Brazil, though her mission to the South American country was not ascertained by the time of writing this report but she managed to write a line on her social networking website, http://www.facebook.com/ describing her stay as fun.

"Oh, so cold here in Brazil but I am having a lot of fun. God bless all my well wishers." She wrote on her facebook wall on Sunday when the news was broken by an online blog, Saharareporters.

According to the blog, her associates and aides had embarked on remedial damage control by cleaning up the minister's biographies on the Internet.

The online media had on Monday quoted authorities at St. Paul's College, where the minister claimed she studied for Bachelor and Master's degrees, as denying ever issuing post graduate degrees to Oduah.

The blog quoted an unnamed official of the school as maintaining that St. Paul College does not at anytime offer post graduate degrees as the university does not have a graduate school.

Efforts to get any of her aides to react to the allegation were abortive as her special assistant on media, Mr. Joe Obi, neither picked repeated calls to his phone nor responded to text message sent to him by our correspondent.

When the legislature sits and pass bills in the bedroom of the executives, under the supervision of the executives then democracy has failed. The legislature has sold their independence. At the end of the day the populace will suffer as what ever bill is passed will just be through paddy paddy arrangement between the executives and the legislators for their personal benefits.

No surprise anyway, recently we saw a speaker of one of the states kneeling before one of the 'progressive' governors.

So they can as well pass bills in the governor's bedroom.

Please there were no Yoruba in Sierra Leone. However there were many indigenous ethnic groups in Sierra Leone before the repatriation of freed slaves (recaptives) to Freetown. The nonsensical Yari,ba crap surfaced when British colonialists invited some of the educated returnees to Lagos for colonial jobs. Bishop Crowther was equally returnee, if not, why would he look the direction of Sierra Leone for help in translating bible in Yari,ba when the Lagos Colony was the home of Yari,ba?

It is unfortunate that Yari,ba distortion of historical facts has been allowed to exist in Nigeria without challenge for too long. The nonsensical acts of distortion gained roots in Nigerians society during the Nigeria/Biafra civil war.
