London Metropolitan University is VERY slow in giving offer. This was confirmed by a staff member of the University.

Kindly exercise patience with London Met.

Yes, you need to book an appointment with vsf for your biometrics, however, you don’t need to pay again since you’ve paid online during your application.
Book an appointment, you’ll receive a confirmation letter for your appointment from vsf. On the appointment day, have with you your biometrics request letter, confirmation of appointment letter, 2 colored photocopies of your passport bio page with your email and phone number written on it, and your original passport. Good Luck!

Can one meet up if the appointment time 9am

From Ojuore, Ota, Ogun State (if I am correct), board a bus/marwa/korope to Toll-Gate.
From Toll-Gate, board a bus to Obalende/CMS and drop at Obalende.

From Obalende, board a bus/marwa/korope going to Eko Hotel and drop at last bus stop (Eko Hotel Roundabout).

From Eko Hotel Roundabout, ask people that you are going to TLS (commonly called embassy by uneducated people).

NB:
1) Distance from Eko Hotel Roundabout to TLS is short and treakable. It is just a stone throw.
2) You can only meet up with 9am appointment only if you leave your house by 4am (which is risky taking insecurity into consideration especially area boys).
3) With 5k-10k, you can get a hotel (guest house) room per night at Obalende. Things will be easier if you set out from Obalende on your appointment day.

My Uncle got a job in the UK which he started this week.
Also, he has gotten 'Certificate of Sponsorship' from the company he is working with and he plans to bring his wife and children to the UK.

Questions:
1) Proof of Fund: Does 28-day account statement acceptable for family visa (route) application?
2) English Language Proficiency: Does 'credit' in WAEC/NECO acceptable for family visa (route) application?

Type 'gov.uk' on Google, click on the UK URL (website). After the website opens, look for 'visa and immigration', click on it. Then, if it opens, look for 'study in the UK' and click on it too so as to read everything about student's visa, immigration student rules, post study visa, etc.

NB: carefully and repeatedly read everything under 'study in the UK' to equip yourself with adequate and necessary information as you journey to the UK.

I think it is important to communicate or give verified responses. Only accredited agents E.g Lawyers and , Accountants or selected persons with access can fix inactive to active. So, you can follow the advise to go Cac office at Jobi Fele or the one on the island to fix if you are resident in Lagos, or consult an accredited agent. YOU CAN NOT DO IT YOURSELF, it falls under Post Incorporation, it is only Pre - incorporation, you can handle on your own. Be guided

As you can see in the attachment, creation of post incorporation account is for accredited agents only.

You are on point but all physical CAC offices in Nigeria will not fix the INACTIVE status. They will only direct him to meet an agent or give him contact of an agent who does the job.

INACTIVE status is ONLY done in CAC headquarters, Abuja through accredited agent.

Accredited agent makes payment and notify (with proof of payment) appropriate unit at headquarters to change from INACTIVE to ACTIVE status.

Only CAC accredited agent (Lawyer/Chartered Accountant/Chartered Secretary) can do post incorporation services.

One of post incorporation services is filling of annual return which determines ACTIVE status of a company or business name.

Although, a non Lawyer/Chartered Accountant/Chartered Secretary can as well do post incorporation services ONLY if the person has access to login details of CAC accredited agent I mentioned above.

I am not sure which stage you have gotten to however, if you have gotten to this stage then consular office should be Abuja.
This is because visa related matters are processed and issued at Abuja only.

No i did not submit any payslip, i am self employed as well receive monthly pay from my business account to my personal account as salary which also reflected on my personal bank statement i submitted. They are looking for Tax clearance certificate which i did not include because i though the annual return filling will be enough since people were complaining about ACTIVE and INACTIVE on CAC website so i concentrated on that one and forget Tax Clearance which i dont know if is for personal Tax or business Tax .

@ HRprof, it talks about your personal income tax.
