Good morning my people, I started this thread with the main objective of assisting several small, medium and commercial scale farmers with affordable farm technologies. Even though the exchange rate keeps sky rocketing, we remain committed to that cause of providing affordable farm technologies to small farmers. Drip Irrigation remans one of the cost effective irrigation technologies for small holder farmers in the long run, though costly to procure and install...the UV treated drip tapes we procure can last 3 to 5 years and even more however we are sure of its use over 2 years! I am planning to make a large consolidated order of drip tapes and accessories to enable those who plan to start their farms in September and sell their farm produce from December get affordable drip tapes and full accessories in a timely manner, to this end am currently taking orders for drip tapes(1km Drip + kits) is NGN 70,000. Project timeline...place orders by indicating here or via any of our social media channels the quantity of your order, on or before Monday 23rd August or earlier, conclude payment of your products though our business account on or before Friday 26th August, the suppliers are paid on Monday 29th August, then you await your items for pickup in Lagos by third week of September, 2016. Once we have collective orders and payments for dip lines and accessories above 10km, we order and ship down! For those growing tomatoes, cucumbers, capsicum, radishes, and other exotic vegetables or even Indeginous Vegies like Ugu, Tete, Soko, and co this dry season don't start your farm without an effective irrigation system, the difference between Nigeria farmers and those in developed countries is technology, unless we use innovative technologies on our farms, we will NEVER meet the required yield potential per crop! |
Honestly, ho does this reduce the price of a big of rice in the market? Until we take Agriculture seriously, Nigeria is going nowhere! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qL0XTvjvPQ Watch and be inspired to act! |

It is very funny when some people wants to make 'millions' from dry season farming without having to invest thousands on irrigation. If you ever find a millionaire dry season farmer who never spent good money on irrigating his/her acres of land...please let me know, I would love to know how they did it! We can get you low cost and affordable farm technologies directly from the manufacturers in less than 3 weeks! Our job is to make sure you make good money this dry season. Irrigating timely and consistently on your farm will pave your way and give you an edge over the hand watering farmers! |

Weldon Jay, Will put it up on blog now...hope some 'right hearted' youth reads it and act, rather than wait for government! |
Well its 12th August, 2016 and today been the International youth day, i decided to reflect on the Nigerian Youth and their get rich quick farming mentality. Everyone wants to become a cucumber farmer, now everyone wants to go into tomato farming, soon they will all rush into another quick returns agribusiness venture, even considering doing 2 acres of farm when they have never planted a mustard seed in their backyard, doing all this without any practical knowledge or training but ALL based on what some internet marketer put up in some e-book or what some mathematician cooked up in one corner of their one room and put on the internet...#shame! Several practical farmers creates opportunities for Youths to learn, rather what the youth does is get a land somewhere then after planting they start bombarding you with calls and of course you try to help a brother or sister by teaching them on phone and when this doesn't work, they either fail or partly succeeds below their expectations! We need to reset our mindset from the "default settings" of get rich quick farming...there is no such thing as get rich quick Agribusiness, if you want to ever make money and I mean real money, not the one you make money accidentally once and lose the remaining times...you have to learn from experienced farmers, you have to start small and finally and most importantly you NEED money. I once got a funny call by a youth who wanted to do 1 acre of ugu farm with another on a land near a water source, so when i asked them their plan for irrigation they said hand watering...hand what? you need at least 5 people to water 1 acre of Ugu very well everyday, can you afford 10k per week for watering? They said No...can you afford 4000 seeds of ugu, even at #25 naira/seed then they said No! we don't have money. Then why do you want to go into Ugu farming when you neither have money or knowledge/ they reminded me they wanted to make quick money in the dry season. Then, I told them the bitter truth: You need to learn from a practical ugu farmer and start a farm you can afford...if you were the one who called that day, hope you heeded that advise? Please let me know privately! I hope this write up touches someone, a Nigerian youth to think, i mean "use their head well", Agribusiness is not a get-rich-quick scheme please, do yourself a favour as you read this don't ever invest your savings with the hope to make quick returns without applying the steps below. To succeed in Agribusiness as a young person is possible however you must do the following: (1) Change your mindset from "Get Rich Quick from Farming" to "Get Rich from Farming Smart." (2) Learn from a practical farmer, learn everything o...from production to Post Harvest Management and Marketing!(even if it takes you up to a year, after all some youth spent several years to be called a University graduate) (3) After learning from a farmer, select an area in the agribusiness value chain of the crop(s) you you learnt that you wnt to go into: Production, Processing, Post Harvest Management, Strategic Marketing. (4) Having done the above, you get to work and you need money to work but ONLY source from family and friends first, don't look for bank loan or wait for any government! (5) This first test is called your prototype, keep notes and learn from this test. You might fail on this one but NEVER give up, note down the mistakes, restart and make sure you perfect the ideas, making sure you never repeat the same mistakes again! (6) based on the lessons you have learned both from the farmer and your prototype, launch a product! Now I challenge a young person reading this to follow this steps and by this time next year you will share your testimony! You may choose to read and pass or read and implement...the choice is yours #IYD2016

Spray tubes are high quality flat hose that sprays water about 1m high on a jet distance of 3m and above, meaning one line of spray tubes can wet 2 beds at the same time! You need about 1km of spray tubes to effectively water one acre of crops. It can be used for ground covering crops such as cucumbers, onions, garlic, cabbages, lettuce, coriander, broccoli, radishes, as well as local Vegies like Ugu, water leaf, green amaranth, red amaranth, chochorus, e.t.c. The spray tubes we import can be run on over 30m lenght and work both with a small mud pump, borehole submersible pump and a 3 to 5m raised tank. Interested in farming any of the listed crops this season then call us today for quotes and free advise for irrigation +2347036931636

Yes for staked cucumbers and capsicum. No for tomatoes, unless it's a hybrid variety with resistant to the diseases and pests that affects tomatoes when they are constantly watered on their leaves. The drip tapes conserves water and the water gets to penetrate into the ground, making the plànts root to go further into the soil leading to strong plants and better yields. Spray tubes on the other hand uses more water and water is lost during to run off(not all the water is utilised by the plants) lanre2009: |

Pavore9:The highlighted bothered me, mainly because neither the universities(researching into nutrition) or commercial entities are yet to tap into this. People should start thinking of making high quality wara(cheese) and fura(yoghurt) from our local goat breeds #my1kobo |

The spray tubes that is required for 1 acre of land is 1km(depending on what you are growing), however the minimum order you can get high quality Spraytube through us is 2km. This is because we deal directly with the manufacturers and anything below 5km is considered as a small order...we had to 'beg' and persuade them to treat 2km spray tubes orders due to our long term business relationship with them, they agreed! It will cost you NGN230,000 for the 2km spay tubes only. Payment and how to order same as above! Willie2015: |

How to order: (1)You pay 60% of the total cost into Agritechnovate Solutions Enterprises Business Account(2) We pay the supplier within 24 hours of your payment receipt. Watering by hand or by hose may be feasible for 1 plot of vegetables, what happens when it becomes 1 acre or 2? yotade:Beds should be made in such a way that the water flows without disruption, not against or blocking any drainage channel else the area will flood automatically. Also Rain Gun should be placed in right angle to the flow of water(drainage). Thank you! If you are buying Rain Guns from me I will guide you on how best to manage the situation, hit me up on whatsapp (+234 703 693 1636) |
