The 2nd Niger bridge has taken shape and visible on the road from before Asaba Airport the road leading to the bridge has been carved out. And the whole of Oba has taken a new look where the bridge will terminate for onward movement to any part of Eastern/Southern State. From River Niger bridge it is could be clearly seen.

I am excited about the bridge that finally sleeping on the road while passing through Asaba to Onitsha would soon be a forgotten as I am an Easterner. The Ministry of Works under Babatunde Raji Fashola, kudos.

Also my shout out to the present governor of Ogun State for attempting and almost if not totally completing the road from Epe to Ijebu-Ode. Akinwunmi Ambode, I do remember you too. I feel happy , thank you.

Mine is that he don't know how to pump water but he knows how to use it. We share the same tank, if the tank is full, he will pass beside it and go his way. He won't bother to disconnect it. After pumping the water sometimes, he will on his water tap and the water will be wasting. From my flat I will be hearing the sound of running tap. Before three hours the two tanks will be empty again and we will start waiting when the nepa bring light to pump water again. If any of the water facility spoil, he won't contribute a dime. My husband told me this story.

He said while he was at LASU they were up to 15guys living in a two bedroom flat. They sleep anywhere, no particular space was yours, anywhere you find space just lay down your head. The flat was rented by one of his friend's daddy who was fairly comfortable. They only contribute money to cook. And there was this particular guy amongst them who doesn't contribute to their purse, always broke. but will eat whatever that was cooked, hang out with them to smoke and drink and they never complained.

Said there was this period that they were really broke (soak garri in water for more than an hour just for it to rise) and no one had money including this their roommate "according to him". He left the house one morning and some of them now decided to tidy up the flat. On lifting up one of the mattresses, they found a hole and inside this hole money tied together. How much? N18,000(in the 80s). They were happy, tidied up and went straight to the market. They cooked both soup and stew with better fish and meat. Later in the evening went out to drink beer and smoke and this their broke guy joined them as usual.

By the following morning they noticed the guy was looking worried and searching everywhere. No one asked him anything instead they all carried on as usual. A few days later they saw him with his bag leaving the house, nobody send oooo.

Until the birth you just don't realise the amount of load you are carrying. You feel light and relieved. Then tired especially when you did the pushing. After which joy and wonder sets in looking/admiring the baby that your body housed for nine months (more/less). God's favour room here I come again
