FoodRe: Mr Biggs' Fried Rice by kamsi(f): 10:30pm On Oct 30, 2007
why suya cant cause much havoc is cos of the fire that it is roasted on. Though problems could arise if the meat was not probably grilled. Another incubator for germs in Nigeria is sliced fruits that road side vendors sell. Do take a close look at the utensils used for cutting it. the knife and tray are never washed rather they used dirty rags to wipe it. About 20 pawpaws could be sliced at a time and the seller would frist cut every one of them before tieing it up. By then hundreds of houseflies would have perched on then. Usually all these are done by the road side and all dust particles settles on them. Finally a buyer buys it and ends up ingesting germs and bacterias.

I wouldnt 4get my experience at Mr Biggs. I decided to take my daughter to Mr Biggs, it was her Frist day at school. After school that day I Took her to Mr Biggs at Masha junction Surulere. She just had a cup of ice cream. Immediately we got home, she started vomitting. Next thing I knew she was stooling uncontrollably. I rush her to the hospital and she was placed on admission she spent close to a week at the hospital. She was diagnosed with food poisioning. I have never seen any thing like that she was passing out so often I was scared. My doctor then told me he had a patient who visited that same outlet and ended up sick. Not long after that branch was closed up for renovations.
I went to buy a cup of icecream for less than N200 and ended up paying thousands for medical bills. * i wish suing in nigeria was big business probaly i would be rolling in money*
Even though I still visit Mr Biggs i look at the surroundings. Like the branch at Apongbon Lagos island ought to be sealed up and never allowed to operate again.

I c no big deal to it, joining d police force is a good career choice. At least Nigeria needs more graduate recruit into the force to creates innovative ways in the police style of conducting business also there is relatively good job security and prospect for growth. Also if u join try 2 be committed 2 the ideals of the force, try 2 distinguish urself and finally encourage more graduateto tow same line. goodluck and have a fullfilling career.

CareerRe: What Is Responsible For Career Success? Strategy Or Luck? by kamsi(f): 8:42am On Feb 09, 2007
Seun:
You can't take advantage of "luck" if you're not prepared, so you better spend all your time preparing!
Seun the word luck that u wrote about is just opportunity. Neoteny is so intent on convincing everyone that luck is responsible for business strategy. Well wake up cos in the real world of business, opportunity with smart moves(strategy) is a leading way to success. Only a disillusioned mind sits and waits for mother luck to shine.
People that play the lotteries and win are very insignificant population of the entire lottery players. A lottery owner knows that to achieve success in that field the owner has to deliberately set out prizes to be won. so the winner player believes luck has shone on him/her but rather it was mere strategic plan by the owner.
Also one might ask the lottery player who won was luck. I say an emphatic NO cos that person was at "the right place at the right time" which was the opportunity destiny or God was presenting to that person. What if that person had gone pass the lottery stand definitely such a win wouldn't be his/hers. So the wise saying "opportunity comes but once" hold the truth.

TV/MoviesRe: Favorite Commercials by kamsi(f): 12:46am On Feb 09, 2007
A good advert should not only market a product or service.i t should evoke a sense of pride.thats what the "Greatness in every man" ad by Guinness is all about. Then again why should they say there is a drop of greatness in every man. What about women? or are they prejudiced against us. After all Guinness stout rank tops as the favorite beer of Nigerian women. Guinness correct that wrong

CareerRe: What Is Responsible For Career Success? Strategy Or Luck? by kamsi(f): 11:35pm On Nov 17, 2006
In either career or business success the greatest factor is opportunity. Onyek made reference to a mark Cuban from his tell the fact point that he was able to recognize an opportunity to excel. Luck is less than a percent of ones success. Everyday people encounter business idea or great career moves but which are impeded by lack of initiative or even procrastination. Which shows lack of imagination or smartness.
So to attribute success to luck is a lazy man's approach to life, where he sits and waits for LUCK to shine on him. To succeed erase all thoughs of luck and try to decipher when an opportunity arises. still using Onyeks example probably the man Mark was not the first to invent that device but he discovered that he could market his invention. So a greater percent of ones success lies in the individual's hands of utilizing opportunity.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: No Job Or Visa For You In China Go Back Home by kamsi(f): 12:23am On Oct 10, 2006
I agree with what metoo wrote. THE SAD TALES COMING FROM CHINA ABOUT WHAT NIGERIANS ARE UP TOO IS HEART BREAKING.Why would someone go to a country that is struggling to survive only to be a nuisance. To aquire a visa for a frist timer to china is so difficult. Upon arriving their country a green passport holder is made to go thru an embrassing search and questioning by chinese immigration and customs officers. Even tea is offer to nigerian visitors at the airport this is expell any consumed hard drugs. NIGERIANS are not the only poor people in this world so plz stop tarnishing the already brutalized name NIGERIAN
