I wonder how much our failed country will budget for this. (Another way to embezzle fund)
I will start taking our Military serious, when they finally conquer BOKO HARAM, The military are meant to be in war zone and not Peaceful states. They will just be bullying Nigerians on the street instead of them to be facing war. where is that your failed country? I hope you are talking about Biafra who couldn't get a single fire fighter to quench a fire that razed the biggest city conviniently and confortably for 5 good hours? This is what happen when you are so concerned about how yoruba run their government and their lands while you desert yours. That is their biggest city without no active firefighter. Fire conviniently razed the city for good 5 hours.
Firefighters had to come all the way from Asaba not Enugu, not Imo.
I hope you ibos learn someday. And if you like, refuse to learn and continue concerning yourself with Yoruba affairs while your cities burn to ashes. Pathetic lots. |

Ginaz: Oh my God , I have to share mine though this thread is for men.
So those glorious days of night calls when I was still in secondary school a number called me. I didn’t know how he got my number but however we hit if off and we were going on and on round the calls and getting to know each other part.
Well, the day came for us to finally see each other . I took my aunt with me though, I don’t want a case of “had I know” cos I was still a teenager.
The plan was for us to see at my street , chill somewhere closed to my house.
I and my aunt went out to the street to welcome our visitor and who came was never what we had imagined .
He was putting on a very dirty white top, black long trouser that was dirty . His feet were stained with red mud and he looked so unkept, he was Creasy, hair was bushy.
I was like “are you the one “? He was so embarrassed. In fact the 3 of us were.I didn’t know what to say, what was he thinking coming out like that?
I gave an excuse I wanna go home , he said “ok” . All these while we stood on the street , we didn’t even get to go and chill.
I got home , blocked and deleted his number . That was the last day I ever saw him. lmao. The man amaka(d) you. |
Politics › Re: Ghana Resorts To Diplomacy To Get Nigeria Border Opened by Kapeter(m): 9:00am On Oct 16, 2019 |
bakescos01: Ghana has alot more to do than closing shops, almost all Nigerian Banks are in Ghana and Ghanian Banks are not in Nigeria. A threat to close down Nigerian Banks in Ghana can shake us. Also Nigerians do alot of business in Ghana from real estate to importation and so on. This will definitely bounce back on Nigeria as well. We can't grow West Africa with all this things our leaders are doing. We will only get poorer and poorer and that's the blunt truth. is this really a trade war? Change in export/import law of another country should be respected. This doesn't have to do with each others investment in their respective countries. If they eventually decide to do it that way, we will all suffer it together, there are more Nigerian marketin Ghana than Ghanaian in Nigeria market, their citizens depend on some of these markets, there will be shortage in their country as well, all Nigerian businesses in their country contribute to their economy, their economy will shake, there will be inflation which will be caused by shortage and many more. Nigeria will feel the heat a little buh can never be compared to Ghana. |

alexola20: This is why War/Revolution can never happen in Nigeria this time,at least the European governments will not let it happen,as it will greatly affect all African countries most especially the West and Central African countries. And the influx of refugees to Europe will be worse than the 2nd world war. you have sense. That's why they are always careful about what they do in Nigeria. Their activities is limited in Nigeria compare to other african countries. They really wouldn't want to cause chaos in the african most populous country. Their countries will suffer it the most just like Tirkey economy is suffering from the insurgency goin on in Syria. Erdogan even had to come out that they are tired and won't be accepting anymore refugee. |
Politics › Re: Ghana Resorts To Diplomacy To Get Nigeria Border Opened by Kapeter(m): 8:50am On Oct 16, 2019 |
capitalzero: You are actually right. if the other west Africa nations gang up against Nigeria. Nigerians living in those nations will feel the heat. while I support closure of borders, can government sustain it? It is fire brigade approach. you are not wise. This is about export/import war not fdi war. If all the ecowas country should change the cause and start frustrating Nigerians investment in their countries, Nigeria would do same and it will affect us all. They all have citizens with investments in Nigeria. This is about exporting your goods through sea and air alone. It's simple as that. |
Politics › Re: Ghana Resorts To Diplomacy To Get Nigeria Border Opened by Kapeter(m): 8:43am On Oct 16, 2019 |
backnbeta: You think those closed naija shops in Ghana define the economy of Nigerians living in Nigeria? I don't support the bad Belle border closure, but I don't see how Guta's threat in Ghana have any effect...the worst they'll do is to close the shops again if they resort into that, their citizens run unregistered business too in Nigeria. Same will be done to them. What Nigeria has done and asking for is not that much, no more export through road, they should do through sea and air. It's that simple. If Nigeria have been importing to their countries through land too, it would have been impossible too with the border closure, this means they have been doing it the right way, other countries should do it the same way too. |
