Yet another question, were the Oyedepo's at one point in time, not rich as they are today ?
His wife was with him when he had nothing, he was with his wife when she was sick. This is the crux of the marital vow, it has nothing to do with curses.
The UK must heed the will of its people and leave the EU, any other thing short of it, would be the death of democracy in the UK. Who send una to do referendum.

2. Conferences that are "gbam" usually have financial payments attached.
3. Conferences that are "gbam" are usually held by Internationally recognized bodies e.g. IEEE.
4. I.M.H.O, Conferences that are 1-2 days, raise red flags; again my I.M.H.O
5. Don't pay for a conference until you get your visa - paying for a conference before applying for a visa, may or may not make a difference, but to save your money, get the visa first.
6. It is an added plus, if your company has had people go for the same conference, and return as at when due.
7. Know why the conference is relevant to you, and how it would aid your career growth.
8. Attending similar conferences, in other places, can be a plus.
9. If it is self-sponsored, your salary and/or other income should reflect that you can afford this - if it is sponsored by your company, your salary and/or income should reflect that you can sustain yourself in the US. Another important factor, may be the length of time, you have worked for the company.

I have this question. This is my first time of applying to the US.
am Married with 3 kids and I have a job and have been to 1. Ireland 2. Saudi Arabia 3. Nairobi 4. London I also got Shengen Visa to Paris but was unable to travel before the 1 month validity of the VISA expired in 2018. I reapplied immediately since I couldnt make it but was denied the VISA.
Note that am an IT Engineer working for an IT Company and am going to the US on behalf of my company to carry out some system Upgrade at the our client's branches in NEW YORK, ATLANTA and WASHINGTON.
I am scheduled for an interview soon. Please what are my chances since i was denied Schengen VISA recently (December 2018)
I personally don't think this has to do with the Canadian exodus, as this happened in 2016.
1. There's no problem having a different POE than stated on the form and interview, so long as you have on you, onward tickets to the destination that you mentioned on your form and/or interview.
2. If you can recall, can you share the questions you were asked, and the answers given. Were you asked to sign a document indicating that you are willingly going back, than face forced deportation ?
3. How long were you all going to be in the US ?
4. Were you in possession of a return ticket ?
5. Were your phones checked ?
6. Were you pregnant at the time of the trip ?
Talisha2018: Hello house, I'm a newbie here and I've read thru part the post though long so I'm unable to read thru all. I need candid advice on this forum please. 2016 i and my family (hubby,2kids) got a US visa, our POE was Florida and we went in thru New York. We were deported and our visa canceled and was asked to re-aplly if we want to re-enter the US. We tried June 2017 but we were deneid and ever since then, we haven't tried. I really want to try this year though we haven't tried any other country cos of the damaged passport and we have gotten a new passport last December. Please i want to know which step to take cos i don't want to be refused again. The incident still affects my daughter till date. Thanks in anticipation for your advice
IF CREDIBILITY CANNOT OUTWEIGH HOMES TIES, WHY THEN ARE PEOPLE WITH STRONG HOME TIES, SOMETIMES, REJECTED - credibility. If home ties was all that matters, everyone who applies and has strong home ties, would always get the US Visa.
What you decide to reveal about yourself, is your decision, yes, but hiding material facts - that's a crime. This affects your credibility.
vibrant99: credibility cannot out weight Home ties, What you decide to reveal about yourself is your decision, not a crime. it is when you are not something and you say you are, or try to exaggerate your situation, which may favor you, this also fall within all things about the application.. Travel history Ties Educational qualification Work
it is possible you add or remove , but home ties? How do you exaggerate it?
An agent told you to do something, that you know is a lie, you still go ahead and do it; and somehow coming clean will remedy the situation. "YOUR CREDIBILITY IS AT STAKE" was what I overheard at the US Embassy in Abuja. The only currency you have in this US Interview, is not your home ties but your CREDIBILITY.
