Its easier to sing hallelujah than to go out and evangelise. Praising and worshipping God is great, but is it not greater to go out and bring the lost souls into the kingdom of God? and to live Godly lives? the two are not mutually exclusive, its time for #TALK2SOMEONEABOUTJESUSCHALLENGE |

People who want to travel to the US but can't spend 10 minutes checking through the forum to find out, if their questions have already been answered. If you do your research, you will do well in the interview because you will be more confident and know what you are saying. Don't be lazy. |

1. A lot of people miss it at "WHY DO YOU WANT TO GO TO THE US/ WHY ARE YOU GOING TO THE US/ WHY *HOUSTON* For example? I want to attend the Yoruba cultural summit as X because of Y and it will go a long way in Z, all together I believe it will be beneficial to my A. Give strong reasons why you are going. And be fast in saying it, so that you wont be cut short. 2. If you don't hear what is said, feel free to ask them to repeat, its allowed.
I personally am of the opinion that number 1 cost you the interview

We need a government that bites. We are not settling any debts until that project is working. What is the incentive for EEDC to work, when what is being owed them is completely paid. provide light for an agreed period of time per day, and then get your money. Besides are they not making money from not giving customers meters?! |
Politics › Re: Fashola Angry With Enugu Legislators Action On Eedc by KaptainAfrika: 2:27pm On Jun 13, 2017 |
What bloody services consumed! they have been hired to do a project but its not working, and they are talking about debts being settled, is the debt the reason for the project not working. So the reason there is poor electrical services in this country, is due to debt?! Why do you think they passed a vote of no confidence?! What prior service, was there light in those areas in the first place. Abeg shift. mapet: This statement is not a responsible one in any form. Debt owed is from services already consumed. How can people enjoy a prior service, refuse to pay and now precondition such payment on new service? |
Politics › Re: Fashola Angry With Enugu Legislators Action On Eedc by KaptainAfrika: 2:24pm On Jun 13, 2017 |
Your reasoning is deficient! So the reason EEDC isn't doing its job is because its debts havent been settled. Ferk off. simplycarro: What sort of stupid logic is this, so an established debt will only be settled only after additional debts would have been incurred. Sometimes, you guys deserved all the economic hardship you are going through and worse much. |

Their country their rules. Ironically most of these shii won't apply to us, if Nigeria was developed. I watched a program the other day, the african-american woman was coming from the US to marry a man in Canada that she only knew online, as in they haven't physically met but she was allowed into Canada. But if it were Nigeria hmm! deejay102: Is it a crime to have a gf/wife in Canada and want to visit? Even though this is what experience says, I feel it isn't cast in stone. If you have a job, kids and all here as home tiez, the individual can also abandon them all if the motive is to stay and look for means of bringing the kids over later. What if it is the entire truth that the applicant has a house, a shop and grandparents as the only ties? Does that mean he will never be granted a visa? Na wa for this canada ppl self. |

Yes. You will need the original of all your documents or the one's that you have the original for. So you will need: - birth certificate - Bank statement - Letter from your employer - 1 year bank statement - 6 months payslip These are some that you will need, include any other documents that you have the originals for. All the best. They look at originals only, no photocopies. kokoboy4life: Good Day to Everyone I will be having my Interview on Monday I need Someone to guide me on documents that suppose to go with me. |

God's grace deals with sin, and not getting a US VISA biko. And I think God won't be too happy if we are using His grace to get US VISA and run away from the country, that He in His infinite wisdom decreed for us to be born in and positively change for the unborn ones to come. lexyj123: yes, people get approved on virgin passport and i can tell you they have peculiar stories and they wont narate. more so, it depends on the mood of the the VO, and that is purely GRACE in action, and not everyone has it in equal measure. |
Travel › Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by KaptainAfrika: 11:23am On Jun 09, 2017 |
This ties of yours are very strong in my opinion. I am not the VO but your profile is very good, you have strong ties. What you need to do is know why you are going to the US, and where you are going to in the US, for how long, and be able to explain what you do as per your job and be able to explain some technical jargon associated with your field. Again this is my opinion, you have strong ties but VO's are human beings and may look at other considerations but that would be up to them. Be confident in the interview and honest in filling out your forms AND DO NOT USE ANY AGENT, so that you can confidently answer the questions during your interview. Hope that helps. lexyj123: Thank you for your kind prompt response, but what tie could be stronger than having a government agency job of about 10years experience and still counting , earning above 250k, married with children, a certified professional, having siblings and parent here in Nigeria, landed property enof, what more? |
Travel › Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by KaptainAfrika: 11:03am On Jun 09, 2017 |
I am of the opinion that you are qualified for visa at the discretion of the VO. You can improve this by having strong ties to your home country. People with "VIRGIN PASSPORTS" have gotten US Visa's many times. But if you are exceedingly rich, you can travel anywhere you want to. Your choice. (THIS IS THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION). Save your money and build up your strong ties to Nigeria instead. No two ways about it. lexyj123: hello house, which of these countries do VO regard honour as travel history / experience
1. Ghana
2. Kenya
3. South Africa
4. Dubai
i know this question may upset you , i just need reasonable analysis in order to weigh options thanks. |

And this is why you shouldn't tell anyone everything. One of the cleaners had some financial troubles, her husband had been hospitalised and needed money for surgery. I don't know then whether it was to ginger us or it was really happening, the cleaner confided in us that the owner of the company was ready to pay her husband's hospital bills in exchange for a weekend in Calabar with him. So we all gathered to do some crowd-funding in light of the alternative, she was facing. One day, I got to work only to be told that the owner of the company had settled the bills and the cleaner's husband had been discharged, immediately I asked how come and when, especially as the cleaner had not informed us of this new development... My people it was all from a quarrel between the cleaner and one of her friend who was also a cleaner, that's how the secret was spilled. Not saying two wrongs make it right, but then don't tell all to one, break it down into pieces. |

She has to qualify on her own merits, and that seems to be sorely lacking. I.E. WORK, FINANCES AND MAYBE TRAVEL HISTORY. wagamama: Hello Everyone,
I live in the U.S and have plans to invite my parents and only sibling to visit me in the summer, so they applied for a B1/B2 visa together and went for the interview together. My parents were given visas but my sister was denied. With that result, we decided for the family visit in December for xmas to give my sister time to reapply again. A lot of questions are going through my head as to why they denied her. She just turned 22 and completed her NYSC. What advice can i get for her before she applies again? Is the B1/B2 the best option for her or should she try coming in as a student?. I don't want her looking desperate and would prefer her to try the B1/B2 application again. Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks. |
