DO. NOT. HIDE. PAST. VISA. REFUSALS. FROM. ANY. COUNTRY. IF. ASKED. DON'T DARE TRY IT. THEY ALREADY HAVE YOUR RECORDS BIKO. peppers: Hello Everyone,
I am new here and I have a question.
If one is refused, would it be on the person's international passport? Also, if it is not, does one need to ever state it on other travel documents or information?
I did not attach a return ticket and i paid for hotel reservation as advised by the agent.
I also did an online application and I was asked to go for biometrics, I went the next day and i was sent my tracking number but it reads no records on VFS and on my CIC portal, it now shows we do not need biometrics as against wat it was showing before which was asking me to go for biometrics. my application also shows submitted as against in process.
please advise.
thank you |

Yes of course, as of now it may look like you guys would travel at different days, but what of if something changes and you guys travel on together? She should select yes, as she may or may not be travelling with you in the future. olulumdp: Hi KaptainAfrika, trust you are good.
Please advice, my wife and i will be applying and travelling at different time because of my business here in Nigeria. There is a section that says, "ARE THERE OTHER PERSON TRAVELLING WITH YOU?" do you think she should choose YES OR NO? |

If you use the one he used before, he could do a lot of things and you won't know what he did - cancel your appointment, change your form etc. With the new one, you have sole access to your profile. olulumdp: Thank you so much. However in your answer 1, are you saying I shouldn't use the login details the agent used? Then I should call customer care and request my profile to be attached with a new email? |
Travel › Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by KaptainAfrika: 9:26am On Jun 02, 2017 |
1. Call the customer care and get them to attach a new profile to an email address only you can access. 2. Fill in your new form honestly and truthfully. If you are asked about the previous form/interview you didn't attend, tell them what actually happened. All the best! olulumdp: Good day house, trust everyone is well.
Please I need an advice, I fell a victim of visa agent as they call them.
Sometime last year (Dec) i wanted to apply for US visiting visa so I went through an agent, I gave him all my documents and details.
A week after , he called me to come over that he has filled my form submitted online etc and booked my appointment. While going through the form he printed out , I got to know he didn't use the details I gave him. He used a business name of his choice wch he already have the documents and also said I have an uncle in the US of which I do not know anyone in US.
I wasn't comfortable with all this so I let go of the money I paid for my appointment n put an hold to my travelling plan and didn't attend the interview.
Now I want to apply now, using my real details with my own business name and to book an hotel. Please, I will like to know if the form he submitted last year Dec won't show up in US embassy system or contradict my new application?
Please advice, it's urgent.
Bless! |

Sorry about that, I assumed you were a woman. I would dare say that you have the perfect profile. But again there is the issue of a husband leaving behind his wife and kids for 3 weeks, to visit an Uncle in the US. Now lets realise that these VO's are human beings, some of them, fathers and mothers who probably miss their family and here you are, wanting to go for 3 weeks holiday without your family. It looks somehow. Here is my recommendation: - travel to a country, where the visa requirements are like that of the US, with your family. - then a year later, reapply with your family for a US visa. How about that? I know someone might have told you, that leaving your family behind shows that you have a family tie to Nigeria - on the law books that might be the case but a VO might see you as a heartless father who wishes to abandon his family in Nigeria and illegally migrate to the US. THIS IS MY OPINION, IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT IT WAS THE REASON FOR YOUR REJECTION, I AM JUST PLAYING OUT THE POSSIBILITIES. ALL THE BEST! UTILITYMAY: Married with two girls(twins). Is there anyway I can prove myself on this, apart from merely telling the VO I am married with two kids. Meanwhile, the VO did not even ask all these from me yesterday, I don't know why... As for the aspect of a woman leaving her husband and kids: I am a man.
Thanks Boss. |
Travel › Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by KaptainAfrika: 1:41pm On Jun 01, 2017 |
Well if that is the case, I think you should reapply. Maybe a different VO may look more favourably on your case. I am not a VO but you seem to have all ties to Nigeria - do you have kids? they serve as strong ties too. Your are married. Have a good paying job Have an Okay travel history. But then there is the issue of a married woman, leaving her husband and kids (if there are any) to go visit an Uncle in the US. It looks somehow. IMHO though. UTILITYMAY: Thanks a lot for the response, necessary points are well noted. However, as for the equation of a line some books use b while some use c, the main point is explaining what the b or the c is, which I did ( y- intercept). I also have a travel history of a week in Dubai and a week in Kenya. I am married, my uncle is been in US for over Ten years through Visa Lottery (He is a card carrying citizen). He is clean even working with a wonderful firm in New York. I want to visit the US just for 21days during summer; July 28-August 18. That is why I am asking if I should try applying again, the fact still remains I will like to visit him this summer.

Hello, i was denied a visa in 2013 because they said i did not demonstrate enough evidence to show that i would be returning back to Nigeria after my stay. (I have relatives in America). I was told to reapply when my circumstances had improved.
I am married now and my husband and i desire to visit the states to celebrate our wedding anniversary which also coincides with my birthday and also for my husband to get to know my family over there too. I also stated that i have relatives in the USA but i don't intend staying with them, we plan to lodge in a hotel for our privacy and comfort. Please what are our chances of getting the visa and what documents do we need to further support our applications? Thank you. |

1. The equation of a line is typically written as y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept 2. Don't apply soon unless you are desperate or its an emergency, it is recommended that you wait for 3 months or until your circumstances changes as per ties. ALL THE BEST. UTILITYMAY: My interview transcript yesterday 31st May, 2017 V.O.: Good morning Me: Good morning V.O.: What do you want to go and do in the US? Me: I'm going to the New York to visit my Uncle V.O.: What do you do? Me: I am a teacher, I teach Mathematics(IGCSE Standard) I mentioned the name of the school... Take note guys: "It's a very big school in VI with monthly salary of #250000" as it is in my application. V.O.: What class do you teach? Me: I teach Year 10 through 12 V.O.: How many students do you teach? Me: Like 30 students V.O.: What are some topics you teach of recent? Me: Statistics, Probability, Trigonometry and Geometry V.O.: You say you teach Mathematics? Me: Yes V.O.: What is the equation of a line? Me: y= mx + c; where y is the y-coordinate, x is the x-coordinate, m is the gradient of the line and c is the y-intercept V.O.: We are sorry you are not qualified bla bla bla... As she handed over the blue copy to me. Me: Pakam... Lols
My question: I want to reapply again, how soon can I reapply? Though it is written on the blue paper that I can apply again at anytime. If I apply today or tomorrow, won't they see it as being desperate?
Thanks guyz... I need your contributions ASAP... |

1. What you filled in, is it true? 2. Are you intentions, in line with your visa category? If the answers to both are YES, then fill it in the form and mention your intent. It will even show you in good light, be honest, no need to lie. ExpressBooking: Good day everyone whose posts and advise has been very helpful here.
please I have booked an interview at US Embassy here in Lagos for June second week for a B1/B2 visa. Here are my questions,
1. I lost a passport in 2013 which I used to travel to China and Dubai in 2012 when I was dealing on laptops and phones. I reported the loss to police and got a court affidavit. So on my DS-160 where I was asked if I ever lost a passport,I quoted yes and on travel history I quoted the China and Dubai, do you think I should remove this before submission of the DS160?
2. I am going for a vacation and tour in NY but at the same time will want to breeze into IAA auto Auction yards in NY and see how live car auctions are held as I have been an online/proxy bidder. Do you think I should mention this to VO? Please note that my main business is car importation and sales as stated on my DS160 and I am the Managing Director of my company. |
