How about players like continho, hazard, Alexandra Hleb, Song, e.t.v. that are stars in England but performed woefully in Spain. The fact is that, Joint football is where you can rate player from every part of the world. World cup of champions league, where English league perform less than Spanish. That is all.

In UCL, Only Real and Barca has been able to win it in the history of La Liga even though Spanish teams have won it more but 5 EPL teams have won UCL, if I'm correct.

That's because their talents don't play in just 2 teams unlike La Liga.

EPL competitiveness is what's killing their performance in UCL. Just imagine all the star players in EPL in just Liverpool and Man City?

Imagine Ronaldo, Auba, Salah, Haaland and Nunez in the same team fighting for shirt? This is similar to what Spanish teams have been enjoying for years.

The competition does not end with kicking of ball. It goes into having huge money to buy players, money to pay high earning players and money to attract quality managers.

In other leagues, their best players play in one team or in the case of Spain and Italy (some years back), 2 teams in the whole league but in EPL, almost every team can retain their stars if they wish to.

So the talent pool spreads across the whole league, this includes the Manger too. That's why you see Kane and Son winning the EPL top scorer but could not win any trophy.

In Spain, every player and Manger wants to go to Madrid or Barca. In Germany, Dortmound cannot even retain their stars because they have to sell them to make money or these stars eventually go to Bayern. In Italy, it used to be AC Millan and Intern Milan in the early 2000s, until recently when Juventus came to the scene and now Italian league is becoming another EPL, their star players are across 4 to 5 teams now and all these teams have good managers.

Even when English teams won UCL, they could not win ballon d'or because bulk of other players goals (Ronaldo and Messi then) came from La Liga. And in la liga, they usually have good games to goal ratio.

In EPL, you see teams spending 300 to 400 million pounds on defender and goal keepers between 2 - 3 years, you hardly see such in other leagues. That's why it's hard for a player to score 30 plus goals consistently in EPL. I think Haaland would change that because he is a generational talent but time will tell.

How do you intend taking care of your business while in school? I suggest you try NOUN or a part time Accounting program. Schooling alone full time is stressful. Please don't lose that your business. You Cristians have to realize that it is not about being a stubborn goat but about ensuring the whole team pulls in the same direction and you can't have another player dictating to the manager.

Do you know that 2 of the major reasons why the team collapsed at the end of last season were:

1) Ronaldo led a player revolt against Rangick's pressing tactic
2) There was a leadership tussle between Ronaldo and Maguire who were not on speaking terms by the time the season ended, and players were picking sides.

Distractions like these will destroy any chemistry this team is building. it is more than the quality of the individual player. ETH knows that if he allows Ronaldo to set his own rules, he (ETH) would lose the players.
