MissTemi1: I speak foolishness to your lineage. May u birth fools that will wash the ground and lick the soil. I see h begging for mercy , I see u weeping in pain because u are tired of life. I see u being bathed in ashes and rain. Death to your soul I have gone through your profile and I see this is how you casually curse people for someone who claim to love God. I am not scared of your curses. It means nothing to me but I want to give you a taste of your own medicine. May you die a miserable death before the end of this month. May dogs eat your dead body. Before your death, may you be infected with sores and leprosy. May you be a laughing stock in the community. I pray you never amount to nothing in your miserable life.
Do you see how that feels? |

MadamVanessa:

The only issue I have with Jennifer is that she knew that the useless man was married and she still accepted to date him . However, The wife is so stûpid. "Whatever my husband sent to you must be divided equally" like what..is that ? how low could you be. Nigerians worship money so much. In this case, she could be enjoying love, one of the best things you can enjoy in this world, but she still chose money. |

Sirchiboy: Even though it was a poor choice, my confidence has increased from zero to one hundred since I started smoking. I speak boldly now, and my introverted life has subsided. No more being intimidated. Now as vicious and ferocious as a lion. It's always best to be able to do it naturally. Enjoy it while it lasts. |

For an average Nigerian man, the ROI on love/relationship/marriage is very low.
Your hustle/work should be your first priority, romance should be side quest. |
Romance › Re: Woman Releases Messages She Got From A Man After He Called Her Out For Her Post by Karleb(m): 12:24pm On Jan 05, 2025 |
folake4u: I usually don't give out my number to men I'm not interested in because I don't want wahala but if you insist on the premise that you won't disturb me (which I know is a lie), I'd give you so you learn lesson the hard way.
And to be honest, I'm exhausted when these same men don't get the handwriting on the wall that I'm not interested.
Pic: After this guy begged to have my contact, he's been disturbing me in my DM and calling at odd random hours. I finally had to spell it out to him yesterday that I'm not interested in him at all. I hope he gets the cue finally and leave me alone. I don't want to block anybody this year, the year still fresh. Some men no really get shame sha. This is horrible. |

Gerrard59: Some men are so terrible. They lack self-respect, dignity and pride. I think the mentality of "press forward till she agrees" is the problem. If a lady says no or does not respond (after seeing the post), the best is to stop. Possibly, unfollow her and don't bother to comment on her posts.
As humans, we cannot always win. As much as I hate what the guy did to folake, women still have faults in that. They are there on social media telling stories of how their man chased them for years. Saying they want an intentional man. They even go as far calling anyone with a counter point a pick me or a misogynist. Men read this and they want to pattern their behavior after it because it's what ladies claim works. |

tensazangetsu20: I liked graphql though 😂😂😂. It’s funny how it just went dead. It's still used in shopify development the last time I checked. Aside that, it's basically dead and buried. REST API that was criticized so much is still the past, present and future. |

Romance › Re: Is She Trying To Play Me? by Karleb(m): 11:22pm On Jan 03, 2025 |
elimsun: I'll make this very brief as possible
Before she became pregnant, we've been close and at some point I liked her which she was aware of but didn't give the green light because of her guy then and of course I didn't mind much...so we continued our friendship
Fast forward to the aftermath of the pregnancy and birth of the child. The parents refused to give their consent to the guy wedding Sharon saying he's not God's will for her. The catch is, she was incommunicado for a long while following the trauma in the pregnancy and her parent's decision. I tried reaching out to her to know how's she doing as every normal friend would do. One thing led to another and we became close, now she talks of how much she likes me and why it took her so long to noticed it. Infact she was saying I'm the only one she could get married to and all that ...
Well, I told her to hold on till I've heard from God and I've prayed about it but nothing yet...I really doubt what she feels for me and I think she's using me as an escape route since no guy will accept her again with a child
Please nairalanders, do you think I'm overreacting She is using you. Can't you see this? |

tensazangetsu20: This will be my final comment on this thread. If you’re a Nigerian living in Nigeria in 2025 and are fortunate enough to have a supportive family or someone who can help you with essentials like internet access and fuel for a generator while you learn to code, take it as seriously as if your life depends on it—because it does. Opportunities like this might never come again, not even if you move abroad.
Nigeria isn’t improving. When I started learning to code, ₦75,000 could buy a decent laptop. That same laptop now costs around ₦300,000. Electricity wasn’t as expensive, fuel was less than ₦200 per liter, and internet access was more affordable.
If you think moving abroad will make learning easier, think again. Once you leave Nigeria, the reality of bills hits hard unless you have a wealthy family to support you. Many Nigerians abroad end up stuck in exhausting, menial jobs for years just to survive.
So if you have the chance to learn coding in Nigeria, grab it with everything you’ve got. It could be the one opportunity that changes your life forever. I endorse this message. The best time to learn to code is now. Most people are not interested anymore, if you can learn, you'd have too much jobs at your disposal because companies are still recruiting everyday. Trust me. |

Don't invest because of FOMO. I can list 5 things from the top of my head they called the future that never became anything. |

tensazangetsu20: Bullshit. I only responded as to not discourage newbies. I also heard the same thing then that it was saturated. I was working in Nigeria left Nigeria learnt another language and still working in the same field which is said to be saturated 😂😂. If you are in Nigeria and you have the opportunity to learn to code better take it very seriously especially if someone is supporting you with electricity and internet. Take it like your life depends on it. You can continue being negative it’s none of my business. You don’t know me and I don’t know you. This is the message. Stop listening to naysayers. Just do. |
